I could make it work with iphone 15, I used trs to trrs wire from Rode and original ucb c audio input wire from apple. The receiver should be put on Analog mode.
The volume level recorded is low in Apple as well.

I have a sony hx400v will a Sony external microphone work to some extent? I know they are not completely compatible but is it so much that I will notice? I shoot outside.
