- This Soundtrack is simply amazing! I have carefully choosed the best tracks and put them out in the best order I could think of to keep a good harmony from start to finish.
This Compilation is close to sound as a music mix, every track is played in full lengh, no changes made. I have done a little bit of fading after the first two tracks between the songs.
The first two tracks sounded a bit off when fading to each other so I choosed to put a small pause between and after them instead.

This is one of those games I often return to their ost to remember all those good memories I had during my journeys. It's funny how I can feel nostalgia out of videogames, just as in real life.

@@1heymar1 I did in tactician the first and second time. It was kinda hard at first but when u take time to build your char ( u can reset points at lady vengeance to try to improve/compare builds) it gets easier ( like put 10 in summoner). The bid deal is the final fight in tactician when u goes against every gods
nostalgia for me is more DKC, FFT ost,... those recent game cant be nostalgic

It is not just a game, but a world, a masterpiece of art.
One of my favorite things about this game is that after a bitter and terrifying fight, they play an arrestingly beautiful song, which gives the player space to stop and reflect. Whether it's Rivellon playing after the Lady Vengeance came through the hall of echoes, or Lohse's song after fighting her demon, it's a pattern that this game follows consistently
The moment when the Rivellon theme plays on the Lady Vengeance is one of the best moments in a game that I can remember.
"A Part of Their Story" had me feeling really mellow and happy in the wheat fields, and then I heard the scarecrows speaking God King .... 😱

Totally agree. I love HoMM3, it was my childhood. And this game is just.. I can't find the most suitable words. This game is just amazing and beautiful yet awesome. So much emotion and passion was written into it.

Man... the 'Battle for Divinity' ost is insanely good. It truly encapsulates all there is about a fight to decide who is fit to ascend to godhood!

I have played this game till the end five times with one particular friend. I also finished it twice solo, and a few times with some other friends.
It's just SO good.

Rivellon brings too much feelings...
The spray of the sea water reflects the sun's rays all across the ship's deck. You look over at Reaper's Coast and then back to your companions. You concentrate on the sway of the ship and the sound of the sails billowing in the wind. You look down from the sails and see the sailors preparing the ship for dock. All of you know that adventure and battle and victory awaits you on those shores. You know that divinity is within your reach....and you also know that death is creeping around every corner.
All you can do is smile as the sun starts to set below the horizon. The fields of the distant farms glow golden and the lights of the town start to pop up like lightning bugs. Your bags are packed. Your spells are ready. Your weapons are sharp. Just another day in Rivellon.
This guy also made the soundtrack for Knights of Honor and it's amazing as well.
I came back to this after noticing Rivellon is in Baldur's Gate 3
There are two kind of people out there. People who've played D:OS2 and think it's the best game ever made and people who haven't played it yet.

It is hard to judge - when it comes to this genre I loved it.
I think that we can all agree that, even if we cannot categorize any game as THE BEST as all are different, this one has all the ingredients making it a masterpiece.

@@user-ut3ni6bu7b I mean, she tried killing me as soon as I met her at fort joy purely because I was playing a lizard. Not too heavy of a spoiler considering how hostile she is to most.

I think a variation of it plays in the Blackpits area.
I won't spoil anything, but it plays before the final confrontation in Act IV. The brassy part at 12:51 is the game's epilogue after you win and choose the ending.

Yes, I played Original sin 1 and 2 solo and It's still one of my best video game experience in RPG.

I just got it . I'm having trouble getting into it but I'm forcing myself . I am an Rpg vet . But I've never played a divinity game. The music is amazing I just hope I can like it. I can be a picky, fussy prick sometimes 😅😅

@@solidtrooper54 so it's been a while, I finally went back and just started over , the battle system and exploring is fun the music's excellent the only complaint I have is organizing my items and hot bar for all characters. Or maybe I suck at it lol

Yes they are copyright protected, but if you use them creatively on youtube or similar platforms, in a way that benefits the gaming company and composers, you can most often use it. For self use, you are pretty much free to do whatever you want, depending on where you live. :)

Final Departure, FD Quiet version and blackpits are variations of tear in the veil. OS2's soundtrack relies upon recurring motifs quite heavily.

this was my first isometric RPG, my first turn-based RPG, and my first modern fantasy RPG, which is a bit unfortunate, because it simply set the bar too high for any other similar game I've played to match. The Witcher 3 is an exception, but for the most part, with each new RPG I play I always end up saying well that was nice, but it just wasn't quite divinity.

That's what they claimed about the first game, and they were wrong.
Then dont play it
I really loved the D&D theme that this game took, but i felt that if you play on tactic mode its just become unrewarding... You cant finish the game on hard mode if you dont take a fighter, enchanter, a ranger and a wizard... And even after that you need to be cheesy to succeed... In chapter 5 i just quit... And started on explorer (medium) mode...
I really hope that those scaling are going to be better in Boulder Gate 3, i dont wanna feel sorry that i took Shadowblade because he wasn't resourceful enough... Hope i can pick who i want with any class and still succeed to pass the game even on hard mode
Well to be honest the tactician mode is here to challenge you, I did it with a friend and we had to respec a few times, because like, summoner are great on the begining, but useless past and point, so we did the final boss with : 2 two-handed necromancer/Warfare, Me a Aero/Hydro support/heal, and my friend a Pyro/geomancer. You can finish the tactician with wizard, it's just pretty hard ^^ Hope you still enjoyed the game dude
@@virgileberger8517 yea im now started the game on explorer mode and im trying different builds so that i will try tactican mode again someday, altough Boulder Gate 3 come this month so i dont think i will had time for that

The headline can be taken literally, by the way. Way overhyped game with essential problems (in all areas of design, but all deliberate or "indifferent" in a way, typically overlooked in pretentiousness). One can also simply call it boring and full of stoppers and disingenuous pretense of freedom (only to lure one into a game stopper, with it or the "right path", which actually mostly exists, not clear in any way). And so on. It's tiresome to talk about this game. Like being in it.
The developer made games before... They were mostly deemed mediocre. Yet there is no essential difference between those and this one, except a kind of big hulking system on top of it.
Or you have terrible taste in games and can't take it that these games reviewed well.
