    at 17:28 instead of using Constant and Roto, you may just plug roto node into merge's A pipe, no constant needed it will do the work

    When I get to the camera create stage I don't get a camera icon in the 3D scene. Any ideas?

    I was wondering, What if I want to achieved the color grading? Do I do that before compositing or After compositing? If ever I did that after compositing, How would I adjust a composite specifically ? so that I won't produce much noise in Color grading, I find it easy in after effects for basic stuff, but doing some 3d compositing really vague me out the process, hope you can answer me thank you.

    but what i dont understand is why do you have to go through 3D mode when you re baiscally just merging your clouds with your footage?

    So is Nuke more like an After Effects, or a Premiere Pro? Or both? Trying to figure out if Nuke is used to composite all the clips (clips with its special effects completed) and you can export it into a video that can upload to YT? Does Nuke have sound editing capabilities?

      nuke is better than both most of the films vfx compositing is done on nuke

      Nuke is an inudstry standard compositing program, where you have your raw footage and then do what you like and so is somewhat similar to after effects however you can do all sorts i.e. 3d track, add vfx layers, alter AOV layers on 3D models; genuinely so much possibility with this program.
      Nuke is a mathematical based program at heart and therefore far more powerful vfx program than 'after effects', as after effects is layer based, similar to Photoshop. A E is good for starting but is more of a hobbiest program with a limit to what you can do with vfx wise, whilst nuke allows you to work in a 3D space and set up cameras to match real life cameras in the workspace making your outcome that much better. As mentioned earlier, you can alter AOV passes of 3D geometry i.e. a 3D animated soldier and can alter all aspects of it you'd like; without having to rotoscope each aspect individually.

    How are you connecting the nodes so quickly to the viewer node? What are the keybinds for that?

    • @rohitchhabra695
      @rohitchhabra695 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Select the node and press 1.

      You can still press another keys like 2,3,4,5 if you want multiple viewing options for breakdown.

    How is this 3d compositing? Did'nt we only use 2d assets?

    • @commongivemeanicknam
      @commongivemeanicknam 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol you have no clue right?

    • @commongivemeanicknam

      The title referred to the app's capabilities of arranging flat stuff in a 3D room. It's also called 2.5D for that reason. So yeah, the title is right and wrong at the same time 🙃

    • @aracturus6220
      @aracturus6220 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      what i mean to say is, It should be called 2d compositing. Because 3D compositing means when we composite 3D Render passes onto a live action plate!

      Aquib Hussain No. That’s CG compositing. The title (as mentioned above) is right, since this process is also called 2.5D comping.
