Peter Schmeichel for me. I modelled my game on him growing up, except I preferred to be a ball playing goalkeeper. My style for one on one's though were based on his handball style! Phenomenal keeper. Of the more modern era Buffon was immense. So many classy goalkeepers about!
Congratulations Rob! You are the winner of the signed match-worn gloves! Peter Schmeichel is my favourite goalkeeper of all time too! and agree about Buffon, what a goalie! Can you reply to this message with your email address please and we can message you to get your postage details!

My fave keeper of all time is Ben Foster. Been in the game a long time, lots of experience, loves a bit of brekko, absolutely made for Vlogging. What a lad
My favourite goalkeeper: Heurelho Gomes, he is a Watford and Tottenham legend, he’s been around the game for years and always stayed top class throughout his career. In my opinion he’s very underrated and still can still play at a elite level. Top man
Thanks once again for all the footage, have you thought about putting the camera in the other corner so we can actually see Kiko's reactions to you always shouting at him. You are a legend for all of these & congrats on all the continued growth on the channel. When we were Premier League did you ever Pick yourself in goal? No worries on winning the gloves as I am sure there are way more deserving people than me but as you asked I have to go with Peter Schmeichel & the ultimate English Hero/Legend Gordon Banks. Until the next one stay safe & lets get the 3 points in Bristol. Ross/TommyT999
My favorite goalkeeper of all time is by far Scott sterling, the absolute face reflexes he has is incredible. And the fact he is incredible at volleyball as well speaks volumes. He is the man the myth the legend!
Favourite Goalkeeper - Petr Cech, absolute legend and changed the goalkeeper game. Honourable mention to Ben Foster as he is the only keeper to ever give this kind of insight and go out to connect with all football fans!
Genuinely you are my Favourite keeper, remember watching you play at Ladysmead ( Tiverton fc) and thought then he's a decent keeper. Then you signed for united, and got loaned to my Team Watford was absolutely made up lol You genuinely are a legend. So I followed your career from start really. From a Watford & Tiverton Town fan ❤️❤️
You never forget your first love and the first keeper I loved was Adriano Basso of Bristol City. What a man, incredible shot stopper and a top humble bloke as well. Almost took us to the Prem and will always hold a place in my heart. Loving the behind the scenes stuff, immediate subscribe.
I have watched Wrexham since 69/70 yes I am that old 🥴. It is Wonderful to see where Wrexham are going it is just Stunning. I remember Ben when he first played for us and he was always so full of enthusiasm and after the first game of his return to Wrexham I had the Pleasure of meeting him in the Corridor at the Bamford suite. He was an absolute joy and at 39 he was still so full of Enthusiasm and had time for everybody. Oh and as an Aside what a fantastic Goalkeeper 👍👍👍👏👏
As a Brazilian, my favourite GK is Dida! Played great in the National Team, Milan legend and also a legend from my club, Corinthians. I think he is kind of underrated today, but he is one of the best that ever played the game, in my opinion. Cheers from Brazil, Ben!
I don’t think Watford should of won, I think that’s a bit biased, we had so many chances in the second half 🤣🔵⚪️🔵⚪️ I’d also love to win your gloves, I’d give there to my mate who is a goalkeeper and he loves you and these videos 👍🏼🤩⚽️
1st half we could have scored 5 or 6. 2nd half you could have. You put us more pressure overall than we did; if you won we wouldn't have had many complaints.
Watford where teribble on the night cant even believe he said they should have won we created plenty of chances in the 1st half and in the 2nd wow best half ive se en in a while tbh urrssss
Favourite goalkeeper ever: has to be Saint IKEA Casillas. As a shorter goalkeeper he’s always been an inspiration as the exception to the height trend. Favourite current goalkeeper: Ter stegen. Moves around the goal so well and there’s so few goalkeepers able to utilise all body parts like he can. Love the vids Ben, keep it up!
Those green birds are called Kingston Parakeets and they first came to the UK during the filming of the African Queen movie in Isleworth Studios which is up the road from Syon Park where the escaped the set. Good luck for the season Ben. Can everyone like this so Ben can see it?
My all-time favorite goalkeeper is Manuel Neuer!! Back in 2014 I thought he was in his 'prime'. But I believe that he's is even better these day's!! Absolutely love his way of goalkeeping. He's really inspirational for me! Great vid Ben!!
Being a Westham fan always grew up watching David James and Rob Green, However the one that has stuck with me and words of advice he gave me David Seaman. Bumped into him on the plane, he was more than happy to take some time out invite me up to first class and talk goalkeeping with me. Was happy to take a photo with me even though i had my Westham keepers kit on me. Taking time out of his holiday and writing a note with words of encouragement and advice really speaks for him and the type of character he is.
My favorite keeper as an 18-year old Baggies fan Ben is pretty self explanatory. Kept us in so many games, proper pro on and off the pitch, masterclass at Old Trafford springs to mind. It’s... Boaz Myhill. p.s. realistically though Ben, you’re a proper modern Baggies legend and I wish you and watford the best for the season. There’s a reason your picture is in the Brummie Road 👍
Jose Chilavert! Scored goals but was an inspirational leader. When they lost in the world Cup he literally picked his players off the ground. Amazing person
Has to be Jan Oblak for me, even though he plays behind a solid defence I still think he's been a match winner for Atletico and pulls off some world class saves
Great video Ben. Grew up watching Pat Jennings on TV (not that there was much footy on TV in those days) absolute beast of a GK, biggest hands I've ever seen. Him and my local team GK in the late 70s / early 80s (Willie Carrick) where both a huge influence in me being a GK when I went on to play footy myself.
