Really easy taking the bumper off. Plenty of tutorials on here that's why I didn't bother making one. Unfortunately, you need to take the grille surround off too to remove the plinth and it's quite tricky. The listing has expired now, closest I can find is £65.
Definitely looks a lot better after the chrome delete. Just bought a JCW myself and it’s a 21 reg so they started doing the black packs at this point but conveniently left the belt line chrome…. How much did Mini charge you for the OEM black belt line? Also, great JCW content mate!
I’m looking to do similar, but I fear that the stripes have been in place too long on the bonnet. I just brought a ten year old, and to add to that, it’s red. How old was your car when you pulled the stripes?
Fairly sure it is. Most websites selling aftermarket parts I've seen are just reselling from Chinese wholesalers with a bigger profit margin. Fair play to them, easy way to make some money. Saw it a lot when I had the M140i. Don't get me wrong there are companies out there than spend a lot on R&D to produce their own stuff, but for daft things like mirror caps or rolls of vinyl you'll find they all come from the same factory.

I get it as it looks cool BUT the chrome looks cool as well and the inside has chrome. At this rate, chrome will be more unique. Chrome gives it contrast more than the black...

Love the color on that F56 JCW, I had a F55 S in the same color! As soon as my budget allows for a fun car I will be picking up a F56 JCW

Just the vinyl (I gave up with that...) or genuine replacement from Mini. Not cheap!
