- Snow Leopard Wildlife Series - The White Panther & the Beasts of Snow
Three years after my first encounter with Snow Leopards in Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, I embarked on another thrilling adventure to wild Indian Himalayas to film and photograph them. This time, my destination was Uley, Ladakh, and my goal was to try and capture a Snow Leopard hunt on camera.
In episode 1, we’ll meet a Snow Leopard mother and cub and discover the secrets of survival in one of the world’s most challenging terrains. We’ll observe first-hand how the young cub learns the ropes of life in the wild.
Focusing largely on educational and awe-inspiring moments, "The White Panther" is more than a wildlife series - it's a testament to the resilience and adaptability of these magnificent beasts.

Filmed on the Canon R5C and RF 800mm f5.6 L IS USM. With Snow Leopards sightings being as far as a mile away from me, even 1600mm with the 2x RF extender fell heavily short. Thanks to the super 35 crop mode on my 8k sensor, we were able to reach a filmable focal length of 2400mm in 5.9k RAW. Scaling that on a 4K DCI timeline, we reached an equivalent of 3360mm. Yeah, Snow Leopards can be far, man!

Ladakh for Ladakhis ✊🏼 #6thScheduleForLadakh
The scenes with the snow leopard were riveting.. Can't wait for the next episode
We need to preserve n grow our nature.. India is so diverse in biodiversity, we will hardly need to visit other countries for tourism...india should protect our jungles and all connected to it... Beautiful documentary Kenneth ❤
the best way on average for those who aren't subsistence like those goat herders, but rather live in the system is to go vegan because of the huge inefficiencies of animal agriculture on average: “If the world adopted a plant-based diet we would reduce global agricultural land use from 4 to 1 billion hectares”
ourworldindata org land-use-diets
New "most comprehensive study to date" from Oxford comparing various diets across several environmental factors. The results show dramatically how vegan diets are far less destructive. Doesn't include ocean biodiversity nature. Source - nature /s43016-023-00795-w
In this way we could rewild on a huge scale.
You’re correct. After living abroad for 10 years and travelling 15 countries in different continents, returned back to India and started exploring domestic tourism all over India . Only been to abroad trips twice during the last 6 years . India has so much to offer . Slowly we are getting better at infrastructure. Need keep working on Crowd management and cleanliness parts.
Great to see you back with a new series
