You mention in this vlog about not taking bulky waste items etc. Understandable that it could mess up the compactor, take up valuable space and add unnecessary load to your usual route. Have you considered a "bulk waste" monthly offer to your existing customers who do have bulky items? You might be able to load some bulky items into the trucks you already have, just not pack them up as much and/or you many need a trailer but this could bring in a bit of extra coin for the business? Maybe this could be offered once a month on with (say) a Saturday collection so as to not interfere with your other collection days. Example would be the BBQ from September on your instagram.
@@NZRubbishTrucks Hey! Honestly, that’s a good idea and woud probably be beneficial to my customers. As of right now I do on-call bulky pickup. That way, I know what they’ll have our and I can charge accordingly.
@@willthetrashman Oh yes, I should have said if you did offer this, your customers would still need to make a booking so you know exactly what addresses you ned to visit and can charge them accordingly; pointless you driving all over the place in hope someone has left items out for you. Great to know you are already doing an on-call bulky collection; sounds like you've already covered my suggestion 🙂
@@Omaharefuseshorts Most of my cans do have bars. I don’t use 102s tipper because it’s very slow and has a terrible dumping angle. Quicker to hand load
you should get rear loader

Do a mini bin update, we wanna see what your collection has become since the last many many years ago👍
Nice! Why do you not have tipper bars if you only have tipper trucks?

@@willthetrashman Oh ok. Is 102 the one you use in this video?
@@Omaharefuseshorts Yes sir
@@willthetrashman Didn’t you have a different truck before 102 except that other pickup you have currently.
