@@AaronsEnduro where do i begin 🤣🤣 I'm a sport quad guy and newly into dirt bikes. I have a Honda CRF250f right now that I'm learning on. The goal is to get good on that and then get myself a better bike. I'm going back and forth between the 250xcw KTM, the te 250i husky and the beta lineup. My only reservation with the beta is it's still carbureted not that that's a bad thing but don't really feel like dealing with jetting if I travel. And how did you ride with guys with husky and KTMs. I'll add im also short at 5'7 What's your thoughts?
@OdysseyOffroad ill agree that the carb vs tbi is a pro and a con. Pro’s being its dumb simple, no electronics bullshit to deal with if you were to kill your battery in the woods. Cons: if you travel to a lot of different elevations of riding areas across the country it sucks dealing with jetting. My bike came spot on for jetting for our local area. Ive ridden the 23 te300 and 23 xcw and honestly you cant really go wrong with any of the three. Id say it comes down to your riding style which would suit you best. What i will say is that beta’s warranty program blows all other manufacturers out of the water. The second you walk out the door with a ktm or husky your on your own. Beta has been outstanding to deal with in my experience and i think others will agree
@@AaronsEnduro well that's a lot of great info! Thank you for that. I noticed in this video you mentioned you didn't really change any jetting. Have you had to deal with much of that? I'm in Southern Arizona and my area I ride in is about 2700 ft above sea level up to about 5k.
Im still riding with the original jetting my beta dealer setup the bike with! It runs flawlessly (im at 0-3000ft elevation) Your beta dealer should get the bike setup with the correct jetting for your location
You got some amazing epic places to ride we got some good places but it's to cramped here in United Kingdom 😂always bump into people and these 2 strokes are amazing 😊
Wow, that is some awesome/beautiful country your riding in up there in BC, great video Aaron. Got my KLX 140 dialed in with 26mm Mikuni carb you recommend from one of your old video's runs great way better than stock, thanks decided not to go with smart carb. Love the new bike awesome 2 strokes are great, especially in high altitude were your riding. looking forward next video.
Insane video! Can’t wait to see what else you got into. Just went riding today for the first time in three weeks, I’ve missed it so much. Longest three weeks of my life 😂
Bro I'd never go back I've got the 300rr the bigger brother well it's the same bike just a different cdi but damn isn't a 2 stroke easier mate and the fact its full sized 😊you make some great content bro
Can confirm the klx300r can do it all but it's alot heavier. Got mine in 22 for a dual purpose, recently got into single track and tight trails now I'm going to buy a 24 beta 300 so I can switch between riding styles
@secondarymachine7521 1000% worth the trip there, I’ve already made a second trip back myself since video! th-cam.com/video/h7FmnHUaQNA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=98IQt1FfB673E0TT
@@AaronsEndurohave you rode any of the previous years models? I rode a ‘22 and liked it, but hated how you could feel the frame with your knees when squeezing the bike. Looks like they resolved that issue now.
@@IdahoDualSport208Rieju ranger 200/300 are the hidden gems. Same concept as the X trainer but KYB suspension. I have a Rieju 300 pro, but have ridden the ranger. Wonderful bikes. Especially for the money
Dude, what time a year did you go? Where was this again? It seemed to me like you didn’t wait till it was dry enough to go up there because those mountains were still full of snow and there was still like quite a bit of water trailing off the mountain, which could have been slightly easier to navigate or you guys could’ve tried to make your own bridge but you would’ve had to have, probably some rope or twine at best to hold some logs together to make a bridge to do something crazy like that, and I understand you turning around.
What an amazing place to ride 🤘🏼Was the bike still standard at this point or had you already fitted the RR header pipe? Xtrainer is on my shortlist to replace my 2020 KTM 250 EXC-F
What do you think about the xtrainer's suspension at higher speeds? I here a lot of people complaining and upgrading the front forks trying to fix them.
Climbing is easy, just like climbing a tree, but how can you get down on a motorcycle with a 2T engine? After all, you can't brake with the engine in a two-stroke. 🤔
Just got my beta and I’m in love it has completely changed my riding I’ve never felt so comfortable on a bike.
its such a sweet bike! its a fantastic bike to get into the groove of things with!
Yes, same here. Just got my Beta 300 crash trainer on the 20th of Jun best bike. I have ever owned beats the hell out of my KDX 200 even.
It’s the modern day KDX!
Wow! Absolutely epic terrain. Adding this to my list of must visits
One of the best areas ive ever got to ride. Ive already since gone back once more and have many more plans of coming back here!

Living the dream!!!

After three years of learning techniques and riding skills i was finally ready for a 300 2t!
Just stumbled on the channel, going down the Xtrainer rabit hole. Excellent content!

Great vid - It brings back memories of riding on Vancouver Island - back in the day.
It’s similar to the island! All my other riding videos are on VI
Love your videos bro! I've been debating between the trainer and KLX 300r. Pretty sold on the Beta and you helped. Thanks!
X trainer over the klx 300 all day! I’ve tried both and this thing will smoke the klx !
2 totally different bikes. Xtrainer is a much more technically capable bike.

What handguards do you have on your bike in this video? Thanks for the nice video. Yesterday my husband bought his xtrainer and he is waiting.....
Cycra pro bends!
Great video. The xtrainer is rad. Just sold my sherco 250, and considering picking up an xtrainer next year to accompany my FE501

What do you think about the xtrainer's suspension at higher speeds? I here a lot of people complaining and upgrading the front forks trying to fix them.
I can see why they say it. Its not as stable as the ktm’s, husky, gas gas, etc
The heavier you are the worst itll be
How dose it compare to a kdx ? Suspension wise ?
And what do you weigh ?
Never rode a kdx so i cant say
U should come to New Zealand
Where do i sign up!!! Just would need a bike rental’
I don't know if you can rent a bike
Gonna need to find someone that would be willing to loan one out then!
Honda allows test rides

You just use the brakes 🤷🏼♂️
