Looks good, sounds great. Just got my 790 r a couple of weeks ago and it looks great in the garage. As soon as the glacier outside my front door melts I'll look at this mod, thanks.
Can't wait for more I recently bought a KTM 790 R as well I have not de cat the bike but put on a different slip on. Didn't really change the sound of the bike but it did reduce muffler heat, weight and overall improved look of the bike. Still waiting on skid plate to come in currently on back order. I live in Riverside county trying to find people to meet up for a ride. I will end with Semper Fi have a feeling watching your videos (only seen two) currently active or recently active Marine. If I'm wrong apologize in advance.
Not a Marine, but no apologie needed! Just like the haircut, haha Congrats on the bike, I'm loving mine. We have some good off road adventures around the corner. Glad you enjoyed the vid and thank you for the support!
Did you also remap, or are you only running the stock ecu and map? Also, why didn't you reuse the stock rubber isolator for the muffler? Won't it fight the movement of the motor, eventually breaking or causing leaks at the mid pipe?
Stock ecu/mapping for the time being. I'll likely be doing that mod in the near future with video details. The rubber isolator is in, I had removed it thinking that spot wasn't going to be used. Didn't film that spot after re installing it. But yeah, definitely good to have it in place.
The titanium arrow looks ands sounds great! ! I'm a little surprised that the H.P. loss would be on the top end. I'm looking at a SC project or yoshi for my 790R, but I doubt I'll do a cat delete. Good video, keep em coming, I love my 790R!
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel Hell yes..Looks and Sound matters! one of the things I don't like on my bike is the stock exhaust..shed a few pounds too...
Damn, I dont think I want to de-cat, but Kuddos for you for having the balls. Sounds mean. I will most likely try a Yosh slip on for better sound. Waiting to see the rest of the upgrades you've done. When's the O.R.A.C. group RZR or Adventure ride?
Working on a group ride! Keep you posted. I looked at the Yosh as well, good looking pipe. Will be filming an off road ride this Sunday with another 790 and overviews of both our bikes for upgrades 👍
@@damytzeus I've got around a 34" inseam. I flat foot even with the new seat , but now its perfect. My knees aren't super bent any more. The new seat is wider where it counts as well and looks fantastic. Seat concepts have always been stiffer than OEM seats in my experience. So not quite as comfy from a cushion perspective, but more comfortable in width and riding position which is exactly what I wanted.
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel i like a real firm seat. the foam they use is supposed to work for weights up to 250 lbs. i actually thought about ordering the seat even firmer. how much do you weigh?

After a life of clutching its second nature. Aside from that the bike quick shifts smoother with more aggressive throttle and in different scenarios on or off road, clutching still gives you more feel for what the back tire is doing. Cool system though!
agree to disagree. my quickshifter is buttery smooth in all throttle positions. even on previous bikes without quickshifters i have rarely used the cluch except for stopping and starting. you just shut the throttle off and flick a gear. and downshifts you just blip the throttle quickly and it drops in effortlessly.
its fkn amazing. ive had mine almost 6 months now. august last year i picked it up. got rid of the stock tyres though, they were shit. and replaced steering dampener with a scotts one from triple clamp moto

Where do you live? Congrats on the bike, I'm sitting with mine in the garage as we speak.. haha
Aiming to get a motocamp in this month.
Sounds amazing! I've placed my order a few weeks ago. Delivery is TBD.. can't wait! Keep the 790R videos coming.
Great offroad ride video from Sunday is almost done, should be up tomorrow! The exhaust has me grinning ear to ear all day, your gonna love it!

Jeremy- I ride out of Temecula on a 790R. Reach out if you ever want to ride.
I'm guessing you have no worries about warranty issues. Have you re-maped it yet or is it still running fine?
Do you get a flat spot around 6000 rpm? I’ve got a decaf without the expansion chamber and have got a flat spot around 6000rpm
SO GOOOOD!! My 990 is also de-catted with Leo Vince pipes on, and it just makes the bike come alive!
Right!? I feel like its talking to me while we ride... haha
The enjoyment level is X2 when they sound this good!
yo, also 950 with leo vinces, absolutely love the sound every freaking time I start her ;
Oh yeah, sweet rumble!
I need to get this for mine too. Thanks for uploading. Did you also get the air intake & power commander form Rottweiler?
Still haven't done the air intake, or a power commander. Loving the exhaust though!

I liked the SC project as well, hard to go wrong! Will do, thanks for the comment 🤘
It's lean...if the fuel and timing curve were to be corrected it would be a different beast...
Are you happy with the results?..thats a lot of spent money for a 2-2 trade off..weight savings are a bonus...

did u change the header to ? or just the mid pipe and exaughst ? do u need to remove the mid to get the sound or just the head and exaughst

Thank you. Great video.
Why dont u use your quickshifter when shifting up? The have de Qs-up standard.
After using a clutch lever for so many years, its hard to break the habit!
Not sure about the US market but here in Europe we have to pay for the QS to be enabled. The hardware though is fitted.
Steve Cade they al have the qs-up! That pack you buy is the qs+, that one has the qs-down and msr.

How much weight did you save? Great video! BTW
I wish I would have weighed everything.. enough weight saving to pack some extra snacks for moto camping though! Haha
Thanks for the comment!
Great review well put together
Thank you sir!
Sounds good. Your voice 😂
could you run the Decat with stock pipe ?
I don't see why not. Double check with rottweiler though.
Which saddle you have ?
