Ive had these in mine and my girlfriends. i love them. knocks the chill off. easy to do in a can am. my polaris general the staples were a pain. Im actually doing a KRX 1000 here in about an hour for a buddy and a commander for my step dad next week. Even chilly night rides. Best comfort upgrade for $40 a seat

A quicker / easier option is to buy some seat waterproof covers and stick (mine were self adhesive) the seat heater pads on the inside of the covers. It works really well & you don't have to dismantle the seats.

I'm wondering if I should get this or ice crusher heater for winter rides in Hurricane and Kanab. Anybody with experience on both ?

How do they do with water??

So far so good! I wouldn’t submerge or anything but they have been in heavy rain and I’ve washed after our last ride.

@@A4Outdoors do you think that I should add another battery? Because I am planning to add the heated seats, light bar. Rock lights, and a stereo

A second battery def would be better, but so far I run pretty much the same stuff plus 2 additional small light bars and whips and so far so good. The voltage does drop down in the twelves with everything on though. I think I’m just going to replace mine with a bigger/better battery when it’s time.

A little bit of a pain in the butt to run that zip tie back through is an understatement. I’ve been at it 45 mins trying to not destroy the foam, ive got sausage fingers but there’s gotta be a smart way.

Same here, they must have people with elf hands installing those things at the factory. I finally pulled them back apart and used 2 zip ties. Put the first one on with the seat apart and stuck the end out the back. Then used it to tie to the other one and the disc thing…if that makes sense. We’ll be going that route on the other three seats lol.

No way it’s 50 amps-that’s gotta be 50 watts. You could weld at 50 amps. Otherwise, helpful video. Thanks for sharing! 😊
