Watched this video and your old one on the beehive 100 times over the last couple years. Finally just got one last month. I’m an underground electrician out in Canada, BC. Nobody has seen anything like it out here I’m very happy with it. Super easy to work out of and looks great. I’ve got a very similar set up as yours too except I pack way more shit into it haha.
Hey Finn, awesome video and really helped me get the tools for what I need in the industrial electrical side of the trade. Started my apprenticeship this year and am enjoying it a lot so far. Appreciate the video, cheers!
Hey mate I am a Glazier apprentice, used to use a field and portal medium bag got it when I did handyman work at the local hospital and it served me well. Just upgraded to the zippable version of your beehive bag and very impressed with it. Good to support local manufacturing as well.
Hey Finn, when it comes to the toolbag tour videos the longer the better, I’ve been looking forward to this since your last one. Came across your channel ages ago when I was looking at ryobi bench sander reviews and subscribed. Love your style and love the fault finding in the shed videos, got a sticker off you recently so cheers from a fellow sparky and former FIFO worker.
Hey mate, big fan of your vids. Been watching all the electrical tool related ones and they have been a huge help with what to buy. I couldn't find any video of you talking about how you got into the industry and maybe some advice for people looking to enter the industrial / heavy industrial field? I'm a TA for a domestic mob at the moment, trying to make my way towards an apprenticeship as an industrial sparky and would be very interested to hear about your experience.
Hey man- cheers for putting your tool vids out there - brought a tool kit for the marine/industrial leccy world and your recommendations were bang on, especially knipex shifters(they ROCK!)
Love my trolley from B&W International. Plires only Knipex and Wera for screwdriver great chois. Wera tollcheque plus ore the smal softcase zyclop set from wera must have as well as the knipex 169501
Love the Milwaukee tape, picked up a two pack of the non magnetic ones for the same price as a single fatmax. Just make sure you don’t over extended them, I found that the tape pulls off the reel and out of the body pretty easily..
Hey mate just curious as to why you wouldn’t recommend this exact bag and why you’d go for the zip up version. Looking at buying one of these shortly, Cheers
Zips are the key, can fly with it. Keep people out a bit more, you can keep dust/crud out of certain pockets more. Also If you looking for a bag check out Topdog tool bags, they are new to the market finn5 will get you 5% off 😏
Wondering about the blue/red grips being 1000v rated, if not, why don't you have the 1000v rated for all gear used? I'm about to buy all news tools for the industrial side of things and will look at your set up for motivation.
Simply put I never work live. For one it’s pretty much illegal in my area, Screwdrivers are pretty much the only thing that goes near live stuff when I am testing or want to push in a contact. I carry insulated needle nose pliers that will help put a core back in to a loose terminal if I am being sneaky but realistically working live just isn’t a thing. In some ways the 1000v rating is a bit of a outdated marketing tool, If you were to have a 1000v rated kit and you wanted it to stay that way it would be a seperate kit you kept pristine and only got out when your doing the job. Greasy handles and stuff loose that rating pretty fast. Nothing against having them, but I’m not all about making my bag yellow either. If I can save a few bucks and still get good quality use I will.
I have a double layer that has lasted me a Long time no problem, however I would want the HDPE base if it’s affordable. They moved the side pockets up higher on them and they are the only part of my bag showing wear and tear. I also think my bag is going to last me 10 years so buy once cry once, I can’t speak that they all will but I got the entry model at the time.
if you email the support email and ask to ship to the us they will do it because when i asked they said they do worldwide. might take a month or so to get it though
Damn, that Knippex, Wera and Wiha stuff is expensive even here in Germany. Can't imagine the price including the import tax, redistribution, ... I guess quality tools pay for themselves after some time! Cheers, Jan P.S. what's the total weight of that bag?
Total weight normally sits around 15kg I collected the gear over a long time. As an apprentice I purchased the cheapest tools and then once I was qualified started replacing them as needed with better stuff.
Hey mate, a fan of your vids. I've had my beehive bag since 2011, same model as yours, tried the veto XL but found it wasn't long enough to store long items, and went back to the beehive, thinking of the upgrading to the m.s.muir ultim8. have you seen these in the flesh? if so what are your thoughts? Cheers
they are the ducks nuts. They can be prone to sagging into a floppy mess, but they have a slip you can place a "ridigdizer" that sorts them right out. The difference is amazing. Since Muir custom makes them you can get your own colours too, thats always cool.
@@Finntheweekendwarrior nice mate. I noticed the bones and boardshop Aus stickers. I'm also an industrial sparky that skates. Keep up the good work mate love these videos.
"...(cut the)the tension in the room" That was a good one

Thanks for watching! It’s good to hear that my videos are actually entertaining for people other than me haha!
Ha yeah mate definitely keep them coming
C'mon mate you can treat yourself to a new beehive! I'll buy more stickers if that's what it takes haha
It’s the principle, still has a few more rounds of fight left in her
awesome bag, but have a slight problem with it is that it does not made the shoulder strap adjustable

when's the next tool bag tour. always checking for an update
I like my 2 pack system. Trolley. or general and the Toughbuild electrician bag for service and 80% of all jobs

Hello Finn....Love the super hammer since 2018 toolbag tour....awesome vid mate👍👍👍
Cheers for coming back for round two haha
Haha....staysafe mate

The magnet is good, but I would not really miss it
USA needs bags like this!
Safety storm troopers must be a universal thing

Hey mate if you where to get another bag. Would you stick with beehive or go Rugged Xtremes or something ? Cheers
Rugged extends has stepped up there game or recent but beehive is too so it’s hard check them both
How do you rate your strippers and if you had you time again would you get an automatic size adjusting set
I never really liked the auto’s they seem to end up only stretching some insulation. But it’s one of those things that falls on personal preference
Hey man how do you rate the veto pro pacs
Cheers buddy
Where can I get this bag in the United States?
Beer Fridge!!!
Eeeew
Due for another vid my bro! 🤙
What song was that in the beginning of the video
It’s from TH-cam’s audio library I forget the name, if I find the folder again I’ll let you know
Looking at buying a beehive bag, would you recommend the double layer base or the plastic moulded base?

Legend, cheers for the reply 👍🏻
Does anyone know a distributor for beehive in the usa? I tried to order from their website but the shipping was a no go
if you email the support email and ask to ship to the us they will do it because when i asked they said they do worldwide. might take a month or so to get it though
I have people waiting up to 8 weeks to receive there stickers in an envelope currently. Shipping times suck.
