If i gotta say, this is the most iconic third gen song. If someone asks me what's the first song that comes to mind when they mention third generation kpop, love scenario is the song. along with ddu ddu ddu ddu, fake love, likey, don't wanna cry, russian roulette and love shot.

if we're talking about lyrics ikon is on another level. Their songs might be almost about love, break ups, etc. but it was literally well-written. Hoping you can react more to their songs. They r a hiphop based group but they explore diff genres. Their live performances is so satisfying to watch. swear.

I'm ok is my personal fav especially because of the meaning of it's lyrics. It is part of the breakup tetralogy but the lyrics can also apply to people who aren't specifically going thru a breakup and just people who are going thru something hard in general

if you're into k-entertainment, it's IMPOSSIBLE to escape the song as it's the biggest hit in 2018, grabbing most of the SOTY awards.
this song has been dissected to death because the phenomenon it is, coz as much as it's popular with all ages, it's extremely popular with kids to the point it was banned in school coz once one kid sing it, all will sing along. why it feels familiar and timeless, coz structure-wise it's very simple and resembles children song, that's why it's easy for them to sing it even tho they don't know what tf is Love Scenario.

Love scenario was inspired by la la land and it was actually rejected by yg several times but b.i fought for it and once it was released it became very successful

Using Love Scenario as a song to flex about the production time isn't really a good example because of it's simplicity. Still impressive but yeah, not a good example to use.
@@STN4D Why? Because of its simplicity but I think the lyrics poetic and it's flow is good. Korean said that the English translation doesn't do justice to Korean lyrics like it's kind of lyrics that can't be exactly translated and you can't feel the emotion or understand the creative wordplay if you don't know the language.
@@flymetotheup9904 as a music producer, Hanbin making Love Scenario in 2 hours is not surprising nor that impressive. A lot of Music Producers make tracks in hours. Some take days but if you gather the total time spent on a track, it likely won't exceed 12 hours... that is if the song is simplistic and is in this specific style. I could probably recreate Love Scenario's instrumental in just an hour. As for the lyrics, B.I is a genius so of course it won't take long.
My main point is the production time of the instrumental of Love Scenario is not surprising. Your main point is the lyrics which are usually hard for a lot of artists but some are just naturally gifted. Hanbin happens to be a prodigy among prodigies when it comes to lyrics; a simple song like this won't take a lot of time if you ask me.
@@STN4D oh I am not a producer but I see your point the instrument is simple and catchy but I was talking about the whole process including the song writing parts. It takes times for people to wrote a song so it's still impressive to me as overall.

I completely agree about this song having a very "timeless" feel. It's kind of hard to put your finger on what exactly makes it feel that way, but so many of my favorite songs have that sort of "timeless" quality where I feel like I could have listened to it 20 years ago and 20 years in the future and would still like it.
