So, Elise is still a princess. That means that Sonic went to the Soleanna Festival in the new timeline because it looked cool but didn't actually know anything about it...Yeah sounds like him.
Well yeah it was always implied but canonized by Shadow Generations
I think he at least knows of Elise since she’s famous, but not on a personal level. If the question had specified her as the princess of Soleanna, he might’ve said something like “Oh her, never met her but everyone seemed to care for her. Her kingdom was a nice place to visit, especially during the festival”.

There’s dialogue in Shadow 05 where the Commander apologises to Shadow and asked him to meet his grandchild. Unclear if it’s the same grandkid mentioned here if he didn’t attend the first time.

@@Starrmonster02If you don't know, the defeat of Solaris practically wiped away Sonic 06 from happening canonically. Sonic running back is him checking out the festival, but he doesn't remember who Elise is, other than she's the princess of Soleanna, nothing more. Shadow doesn't remember due to it either, and neither does Elise herself.
I mean, Sonic could technically “swim” in Colors just by spinning, instead of the traditional way. Sonic has also plummeted to Earth once or twice.

I was ashamed to be a Sonic fan and a furry and alot of other things in High School but now it's just a part of me I have to accept.
Channels like yours gave some community and comfort in a vulnerable period of my life.
If you or anybody else read through this know that in my experience being an adult is all about survival and to survive you need to find something worth surviving for. The more things you want to survive for, the more you'll survive and not only will you survive you will thrive! Even if one of those things happens to be about anthropomorphic animals that go fast then so be it!

@ Makes sense, so GUN should still be active and hopefully play a role in future games. Preferably not always Shadow related, just assisting Sonic in whatever shenanigans at play, be it Eggman or some other evil plot.
