Played the demos for Urban Strife and Project Haven quite a few next fests back, and they both seemed like they were coming along really well.
Project Haven especially had some really intricate multi level maps.
Broken Roads also looking good, but haven't tried that one.
Indeed. Looks like Urban Strife seems to never-come, but i know they soon will publish a release road map, and i can't wait because the game has great potential. Project Haven too, even if, sometimes, intricate multi level maps scare me a little :)
Capes reminds me of Midnight Suns so I might have to get that. Thanks for the overview

Urban strife looks like a sequel to Dead State: Reanimated. I really liked that game ;)

I played Broken Roads demo a while ago but was not convinced. Just an ok game.
Same for Capes and Urban Strife (except this last one was crealy not optimized. sad because I really wanted this to be a Dead State 2).

By the by sword of convalaria is not an indie XD had been there for quite a while as gacha game dev. I do have problem by how they do Eternal city for SEA server as XD global few years ago.

I used to like tactics games more. But nowadays I feel most of them are too slow. Normal turn based games that aren't tactics like Trails and persona are much better... But this project Haven caught my attention
Great video but you went the "I think this is coming in 2024", please don't fall to the very low standards or other "top X games in 202X". Just make a list with games that are confirmed to come out in 2024. Demos are not even worth playing anymore. For example...i think i played the urban strife demo 3 years ago and there is still no confirmed release date, not even in 2024 as a general reference

there is nothing good except (Crown Wars: The Black Prince) even though the animation is janky
Still no exact copy cat of ff tactics with more classes. Zzzzzzz. Its been years.
