After watching one of your videos I decided at age 55 to go back and finish college. I had one year done in the mid 80’s. Thanks to all of your brilliant information and 2 months using Sophia I have 90 credits to transfer in and have begun applying at Colleges….Now I need to decide what I want to be when I grow-up. I share your videos and information all of the time. Thank you I am so happy I found you.
I’m a dad with 3 kiddos I want to let them know at 41 years old that higher education is important no matter how long it takes or how old you are. I’d love a consultation but I get that others are much more deserving. Started doing Sophia last week and have completed two so far. Love your work and chemistry. I look forward to more videos. Once I max out at Sophia I’m enrolling into UMPI thanks to your input. Thanks for everything!
Hey Clifford and Lauren, thanks for forging ahead with the CH channel. Thanks for sharing all this wonderful insight into hacking college. At the age of 54, i plan to start hacking college courses and start and finish a Chipotle degree before I am 56. Hope to inspire other mature learners to go back to school and finish a degree.
UMPI has a Bachelors of Applied Sciences program and it only requires 18 upper level credits out of the 30 credits needed for degree granting. The requirement to be accepted into the program demands that you have a AAS (associates in applied sciences) degree. The Board or Governors AAS degree from pierpont community & technical school is the fastest way to satisfy this requirement and is also the fastest + cheapest way to achieve an associates degree from an actual non profit community college.
I am so glad that you are planning a show for Veterans. I think that there are a lot of options for military service members and veterans that they might not know about. I know I learned a lot going back to school and finally finishing my Bachelor’s Degree at Excelsior. Look forward to that episode and everything you guys do. Jim

I started taken Sophia courses in the beginning of August . I now have 80 credits and had my first meeting with UMPI. Your channel has help motivate me! I can’t wait for what is to come.
I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for UMPI to complete my transfer credit evaluation. Very frustrating, but based on what I’ve heard from you and your team it’s worth it.

Hi,l am Marvel from Kenya. I came across your channel and was really happy. I have over 25 years of experience with very many short courses but no degree. I am very determined to do this college hacking path because l get passed over for so many opportunities. Its a journey of faith especially on the finances part but l am so encouraged. I have told myself l want better opportunities even as l head to my 50s.
I just discovered your channel. A pur gem! As someone who has completed my education outside of the USA, I definitely looking for guide to navigate the college system in the USA.
Hey Laur and Cliff. Thanks for all the videos! Had recently just discovered CollegeHacked and I gotta say, AMAZING! I've been working as a SWE for a couple years. But found that its hard to climb the engineering ladder and get into a managerial role. Been thinking about going back to school to finish my BA in compSci, and maybe even an OMSCS. Currently looking at WGU. Also, I am taking Sophia courses since the discovery of your channel!
I love the pin idea! I’ve been watching your channel for a long time and I plan to graduate with my bachelors of psychology in April!! It will have taken me about 18 months, and for only about $8000 total. Pins would be great to wear to graduation, and I’d probably buy more than one to celebrate. I think the channel logo would make an excellent pin, since it has a simple design and is familiar to regular viewers of your channel. Another idea could even be just a picture of Clifford with a thumbs up, and the words “college hacked” underneath. With Cliff and his iconic facial expressions being on every thumbnail, he’s become just as much a symbol of the channel as the logo. That might be my own humor seeping in though. I just think having a little pin of Cliff showing us he’s proud would be fun to have while graduating and beginning new career opportunities.
Thank you for offering this incredible opportunity! As an avid learner, I can't express how much I love learning and the power it has to transform lives. I come from Venezuela, and as an immigrant, I face various challenges, including financial constraints that make it difficult for me to afford a consultation. However, my passion for learning and my dream of obtaining a higher education itself has never wavered. I aspire to make a difference in the world by establishing my own school one day, where I can empower future generations with knowledge and opportunities. Winning this free consultation would mean the world to me. It would not only provide the guidance I need to navigate the college admissions process but also inspire me to pursue my dreams relentlessly. Thank you for considering my heartfelt request.
The pressure is on for swag & merch!! ❤❤ I did it, I graduated and am ready for the next chapter in my education. Honestly, without finding your channel and having my initial consultation I wouldn't be here, I didn't think it could happen. Thank you so much!! 🎉
CONGRATS! 🥳🥳🥳 That makes us happier than you can imagine. If you had to pick one item of swag that would be the best-pin, shirt, hat, etc-what would you pick? 😊 What should we make!

Expecting to to graduate with a BS in Economics and a BA in French in the spring from Washington State University. I'm wanting to pursue my master's degree and eventually earn a PhD in Public Policy or Economics. My dream is to go back to my hometown in Guatemala and change life for the better for my neighbors. I just had my first daughter in August, so money and time is tight at the moment. I want to show my daughter that anything is possible and that pursuing a passion can positively impact those around you. Ultimately, I want to challenge myself and be someone my little girl can be proud of.
I have a good job, but for health issues I need to change careers. I have been following you for some time, and I saved my money for a consultation, but when I was ready to book a consultation I found that it more expensive. A discount or a free consultation would be amazing! Thank you!
I'm sad I missed the raffle. I'm a disabled vet, went to college for an aa and some of my bachelor. Had some mental health issues so I quit. I want to change my major and finish the degree but first I want to help my son to be ex wife get hers first. Wanted to let you guys know that American dream academy offers free coursera subscriptions. It's easy to sign up. Many of the IT courses on coursera are ACE reviewed and accepted as college credit
I am a 53 yr old man, getting a bachelors is so much more convenient now for older adults who are already in there careers, so I said why not, I always wanted to get a Bachelors. What is the best and quickest route to complete a bachelors in management online, while working full time? By the way I am not good in math, how can I avoid ?
Look into the YourPace Business Administration Management & Leadership degree at UMPI :) You’ll need at least one math course anywhere you go, but you can avoid all the other accounting and finance stuff by majoring in Liberal Studies Management instead of the traditional Business Administration route :)
I feel like I discovered college hacked at the best time ever because there are just so many opportunities here on top of an already life-changing wealth of information that you guys put out, and I really need opportunities right now if I am to have any hope of changing the trajectory of my life. So, let's talk about the ruffle. I am one of the people who have just been given an amazing, life-changing opportunity to participate in the Sophia Race with College Hacked! As I probably mentioned in my application to enter this race, I'm based outside of the US and applying to UMPI to get a Bachelor of Liberal studies in management degree. If I could have, I would have booked a consultation with you guys in preparation for this race as soon as I found out I made it to the finals. Getting picked for this free consultation would be a dream come true for me.
Thank you for what you’re doing! I’m an immigrant, which is challenging as it is, and getting through divorce now. Getting a bachelor degree has always been my goal. And a free consultant with you guys would help me a lot 🙏🏻
Have tried going to college multiple times but failed a lot of classes. I just wasn't ready. In a better place now and felt like it was time to go back to school. College hacking seems like a great way to get credit for things I already know without my GPA following me.
this 72 Hour wait time is BS. I'm averaging 2 classes per week, I could be averaging 3 per week if they didn't take their sweet time. I have 5 classes left to go till Oct 20th. your pace my a$$
Speaking as someone who has been a professor, the 72 hour timeframe to grade kept me from quitting. Without it, you might not get anything graded because everyone would quit. 😛
You could drive for Uber hit that level and maintain it. Uber has partnered with ASU online courses. While you hold that status you qualify for free tuition to ASU online. Get your undergraduate degree 100% free. This is combined with any type of Federal aid you get. So you gotta do that FAFSA. Sorry off subject but just an FYI for those that didn't know about this program that Uber provides to its drivers. Thank you for the informative video!!!
This might sound like a dumb question to some but I’m lost I want to get my bachelor in business administration and if I use Sophia to accumulate credit does it have to be in my major? Or I can just get credit from random classes. I’m going to snhu after I get 90 credit if possible I read somewhere that I only need 15 credit in my major while attending Snhu but I’m not sure and I really would appreciate an answer
You’ll need a total of at least 30 credit hours through the school you plan to graduate from :) The rest of the 90 credits of transfer most schools let you bring in can be from Sophia/Study/Straighterline (dependent mostly on what platforms and classes from those platforms the school will accept). For your free elective section, you can take just about anything from an accepted platform. For the general education and major courses you need to find transfer charts or confirm with your school advisor which classes are needed for which requirements :) This is what we do for you in our sessions! It’s definitely something you can do yourself using our TH-cam videos and Degree Forum, it just takes some time. 😊
Thanks for this video, please make a video on which online university is best for someone who wants to apply to medical school. I want to study for my bachelor's degree online and complete the prerequisites at a community college.
Online science labs are available but I'm uncertain if medical schools will accept that. Columbia and Harvard Extension schools have premed programs for bachelor's degree holders.
@@J0HN_3_16 I plan to take all the prerequisites at a community college, but for now I just want to know which online college to choose for the bachelor's degree.
@@OutstandingBrain123 since you are starting out, you have a lot more flexibility than some one who already has considerable transfer credit. I encourage you to work backwards. By that I mean, choose a few transfer friendly universities you find acceptable to graduate from, then select your preferred method of earning transfer credit to fulfill their precise requirements. One thing no one talks about is articulation agreements between certain community colleges and universities. This guarentees credit acceptance. UVA and Cornell have articulation agreements that allow average community college students to matriculate without running the selective admissions gauntlet. The cheapest option is probably an in-state community college for your science, an online provider of ACE credits for general education, like Sophia, and the last 30 credits at UMPI. Sophia has online science classes with labs. I don't know if any medical school would accept them .
Highly recommend Liberty University because they have a medical school and law school, so it’s a good brand name and you have access to the undergrad science department faculty, who can be very helpful about best premed steps and practices. :) But any regionally accredited school with a medical school in it’s system would likely give you the same type of advantage.
Cliff, Laura y’all are amazing! I would be super geeked out to win the raffle for a consultation for my son. He is a teen, homeschooled, bright and is studying for his first Clep test (American History ). He needs a voice other than his mom to stay motivated. I have been pointing him towards umpi or WGU but perhaps you have a better idea. He thinks he wants a business degree. He also speaks fluent Chinese but he hasn't seen this as an asset until recently. Thanks for all you do. I am a big fan!
Hello Lauren and Cliff, as a 58-year-old woman, I have been working for the same company for almost 26 years. Although I have an excellent position and worked hard without any degree, I would love to return to college and finish my bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance. I currently have a total of 72 credits from Sophia and 12 credits from my local university. With that said, which college or university would you recommend that is acknowledged and acceptable in the corporate world and would be quick to complete?
UMPI! Liberal Studies Management :) Regionally accredited, around since 1903, 5 residential locations in Maine. When you Google the name of the school, it’s all positive 👍🏼
I’m currently stationed in Hawaii, taking classes at HPU (AS in general studies) not sure if I wanna do WGU or UMPI, but my goal is to go for my bachelors and try to earn that as quick as possible (for promotion reasons) and once I get that degree I was thinking of going for another bachelors. Just need one advice on how to go about that thank you 🤙🏽
Define “really good” :) Everyone has a recipe in their mind with different levels of “good brand name” “affordable” “fast” “right major” that make up their idea of a really good school. For us, we’re always focused on fastest and least expensive. So for that we’d recommend WGU, UMPI, and Purdue Global!
Thanks for the channel! For the record I really want to win the raffle. I thought time passed me by on getting a degree and I was too old. Currently I'm one of the people waiting to hear back from UMPI. I almost gave up, but your other video on UMPI going slow has me still hopeful this will work.
This comment is for a consultation for my husband, who turned 41 over the summer. In June,he started doing Sophia courses and knocked out 30 credits(waiting for TESU to accept them.) He's currently taking his first 2 courses at TESU towards a BSBA. After that we have a rough idea of how to hack the degree to speed up a degree while he works full-time to support our family of 8. Thanks
I would love to see a video on hacking TAMUC if you live in Texas for their competency based bachelor's programs. I'm looking at UMPI and everyone keeps telling me about TAMUC's Project Mgmt instead of UMPI. I'm 59 and need a degree fast for a raise and promotion for the exact same job I'm currently doing. Thanks!
Excellent question. It depends on what kind of accommodations you do best with. If you’re the type of learner who enjoys the freedom to slow down or speed up the progress you make through the classes, then definitely. If you find it impossible to accomplish much without an outside influence holding you to it, then it may be a struggle. But since Sophia.org is $100 a month for unlimited courses, I would say maybe invest in one month and try it out, see how it goes :)
Thank you for the video. I would like to have a free consultation for my wife she is currently started Sophia and has passed her first course. I would love to have a free consultation to help her have a better mental image to help her visualize her succeeding.
I'm in high school trying to find the right path, I could really use the help to make a plan so that I can effectively use my high school years to get a lot done.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
If by short you mean bachelors degrees that usually take 4 years but can be done a lot faster, then yes! :) Check out the ExcelTrack at Purdue Global and the IT options at WGU :)
Hello Cliff and Laura, I am one of those who went to college and life got in the way and I didn't get to finish. I am a single parent of two children who had been struggling as a substitute teacher for the last three years and also had to take on a second job to make ends meet. I love substitute teaching and wanted to become a certified teacher but didn't think I could afford to go back or take classes in person. I stumbled on your videos a few months ago on TH-cam and it changed my entire mindset. I have been taking classes at Sophia Learning and have applied and have been accepted at UMPI. The Sophia Learning classes have been challenging but manageable. I would love an opportunity to be entered in the raffle to win a free consult to help guide my path thru Sophia Learning to UMPI. It is easy to get lost and could use your guidance. Thanks for all that you do. We appreciate all your videos Your advice helps everyone make their college dreams come true! Keep up the good work.

Customized personalized help versus having to put all the pieces together yourself. A session makes the planning process super easy and gives you 100% confidence you're going the right direction. :)
Sorry Lauren , I don’t have an actual sob 😭 story but I’m a 64 year old preschool teacher with lots of credits here and there but they’re too varied my state now requires a minimum of an associates to keep my position so I need to do something fast. If I can get an bachelor’s it would of course be better. Lauren to Lauren (lol) I need help. Thanks ☺️
The raffle is over, but check out the YourPace major “Liberal Studies Education” at UMPI if you just need ANY bachelors degree! Faster than an AA in this case :) We’ve seen it done with 6 months of hacking and 6 months at the school!
I’ve been pretty confused on what path to take prior to finding your channel. You guys have helped tremendously! Although I am still confused on what hackable college would be best for a bs in computer engineering. There’s my entry :)

Love the vid! Keep up the good work!
Great information and videos!
this 72 Hour wait time is BS.
Should I go with WGU? I’m looking to get a business administration degree with a focus in accounting
😂
Just finished my Chipotle degree at UMPI. Would love if you could make a video about best colleges to get MS or MBA.
Congrats!! 😁 Grad school video is on the list, look into the ExcelTrack MBA at Purdue Global in the meantime :) The YourPace MAOL is great too.
Super awesome, thanks for sharing! 😄
Love what y'all are doing ❤
@@CollegeHacked oh thank you for your help, what about WGU ?
Cliff, Laura y’all are amazing! I would be super geeked out to win the raffle for a consultation for my son. He is a teen, homeschooled, bright and is studying for his first Clep test (American History ). He needs a voice other than his mom to stay motivated. I have been pointing him towards umpi or WGU but perhaps you have a better idea. He thinks he wants a business degree. He also speaks fluent Chinese but he hasn't seen this as an asset until recently. Thanks for all you do. I am a big fan!
Sounds like you have a winner of a kid there! I smell great parenting 😎
Thanks for the helpful information 👍
Great vid!
Just need one advice on how to go about that thank you 🤙🏽
Please provide a list of really good colleges for Post Grad degrees
Define “really good” :) Everyone has a recipe in their mind with different levels of “good brand name” “affordable” “fast” “right major” that make up their idea of a really good school. For us, we’re always focused on fastest and least expensive. So for that we’d recommend WGU, UMPI, and Purdue Global!
Enrollment at UMPI after watching these videos. I want a free consultation and I'll cry if I need to haha!
Haha! Stick around, we may do another raffle 😉
Thanks for the channel! For the record I really want to win the raffle. I thought time passed me by on getting a degree and I was too old. Currently I'm one of the people waiting to hear back from UMPI. I almost gave up, but your other video on UMPI going slow has me still hopeful this will work.
I just started with Umpi, they’re great so far
This comment is for a consultation for my husband, who turned 41 over the summer. In June,he started doing Sophia courses and knocked out 30 credits(waiting for TESU to accept them.) He's currently taking his first 2 courses at TESU towards a BSBA. After that we have a rough idea of how to hack the degree to speed up a degree while he works full-time to support our family of 8. Thanks
Nice! 🤩
Thanks!
Already have an associate of science and 7 Sophia classes that will count towards UMPI.
We’ve also been hearing a lot about TAMUC, a video is coming soon! 😊
I have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) with some learning disabilities. Is hacking a realistic option for me?
I would love to get a consultation. I have been going to school for 20 years. Lol.
We'd love to give you one! Just sign up on our website at www.collegehacked.com, and we'll get you zooming toward graduation! :)
I'm in high school trying to find the right path, I could really use the help to make a plan so that I can effectively use my high school years to get a lot done.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Any short IT degrees at your college hacked schools
If by short you mean bachelors degrees that usually take 4 years but can be done a lot faster, then yes! :) Check out the ExcelTrack at Purdue Global and the IT options at WGU :)
@@CollegeHacked hello, speaking of associates degree
Wifes' hacking sophia and umpi, we're both active army, thanks for the info
That's so exciting for you!! I was in a similar situation, and didn't think it could happen for me either. The hardest part is over (taking the step to start), keep working toward your goal, allow yourself grace and be sure to celebrate each victory along the way!
Congrats! You just won the raffle! Can you email us at clifford@collegehacked.com, and we'll set you up with a consultation?
Please enter me into the raffle! I love you guys keep up the good work!
What’s the difference between paying a session with you vs watching all your videos?
I’m taking the accounting degree at UMPI and I just passed my first course, I transferred 60 credits to Umpi and about to transfer more.
🥳👏🏼
Honestly, my second class is spreadsheet and I am lost.@@CollegeHacked
I’ve been pretty confused on what path to take prior to finding your channel. You guys have helped tremendously! Although I am still confused on what hackable college would be best for a bs in computer engineering. There’s my entry :)
If you have no transfer credit, check out WGU! :-) And entry noted 😊
You guys are awesome.
Hi y’all! My goal is to finish up nursing school & then get my RN to BSN. I wanted to sign up for Capella but now I’m going to apply my credits towards WGU! Thanks for the sound advice. 🩺🎓❤️
Excellent redirection!! So glad we could help. You got this 😎💪🏼
@@CollegeHacked thank you! 🙌🏽
I went with Capella and finished the BSN FlexPath in 10 weeks 🙌🏽 Now onto the BSN-MSN FlexPath 👩🏽⚕️🩺. Shout out to Eric Fishon! I plan to enroll in the UMPI MAOL as well!
