Lolol I love that the "pros" of madden all spam the same play, and play as either chiefs or Patriots. Seahawks last year.

Tournaments like this need to do a coin toss before the game begins - winner gets to choose their team first to avoid having 2 of the same teams play each other like this.
15:59 is the biggest reason I quit playing this game. That route was NOT open. But madden is more about programmed AI algorithms rather than football knowledge

lol. Madden has had the same money plays for the past 3 years. If you buy a madden game, and import your PB from the year before, you'll get the same results. The fact that EA doesnt focus on gameplay as much as they focus on MUT is actually embarrassing.
I wish the players would go to the "recent plays" when choosing plays, just so we could see 1 play from each lol. EA should be ashamed by this. The game has over 1000 different plays, and the 'Pros' only use 1!
They should do random teams for the championship. See who really got the skills. Anybody can be good with one team
If someone gets a horrible team like the raiders then someone gets the Pats the guy with the Pats has a huge advantage. It really wouldn’t show skill at all it would be more reliant on luck.

Davari Roberson so a guy with a plus 10 overall team and has a better player at every positions is gonna lose to someone with a minus 10 overall. Take notes these are all pros we are talking about.

Skimbo's not trash, EA is. They consistently make a game where only a few formations and tactics are viable options if you want to win. For example, EA updated the game a few weeks and added "split pro" formations. Has anyone run that formation? Not anyone good, for sure. And it's because the run plays have the slowest animations in the game. I'm sure a bunch of competitive players checked out those plays but they were immediately scratched as being options! This game will better once EA adds a component of creativity to the game. Theres so much that could be done. Formation shifts, more hot route options (like mut), adding jet sweep motions as a play adjustment, etc. The list goes on. It's really a shame. I mean. I've seen so many different plays and formations ran on the nfl this year, why not add every play that was ran this year into the game? I've double reverses, we throwbacks to the QB, why arent these in the game?
Plays are never the same bc they audible and use play makers and hot routes y’all just don’t know the game . If you’re able to lose to the same play then you’re just trash
It’s sad that this is what Pros are. And even worse that EA supports this. Tis is what competitive play is? Spamming the same money plays and shutdown defenses. Picking them over and over and doing hot routes or adjustments out of it each time.
That shit isn’t how football is played, why js it so hard for dudes to use football knowledge and really use different plays on offense and defense? Seriously asking

Madden at a high level has always been played like this. Everyone uses similar plays with small wrinkles. If you aren't tuned in to the community u can't really see the wrinkles. This is coming from someone who thoroughly understands the game of football an also was at one point very competitive in the Madden tourney scene. I agree it sucks but unfortunately until they make a Madden without certain routes or plays that are way more effective than others, nothing will change. Basically u need that one money route to set up other things in the play. The only real strategy and adjustments come from safety play. Yes it sucks .

Y’all forget this is a GAME. Of course real life athletes not allowing the same play. You also not supposed to have time for a three step drop without a linemen in your face. You also not suppose to throw 30-40 yards on the run. They played the game and won doing so using Pat Sail and Nickel Normal. If he didn’t account for the “bum play” then he gets dotted. So he adjust started sending more heat to pressure a bad read. Skimbo one of the greats because he is discipline in his reads. It’s a reason he’s always in Bunch AND is making BANK off this game.
Figured I’d take my first ever peak at the “pro” game. I fell asleep at about the 5min mark after watching literally the same play on both sides about 20 times in a row (and even worse the one guy ignoring open receivers time and again to stare down that stupid drag. If you’re going to call the same thing over and over you could at least consider other options on the play). Something about the definition of insanity. This shit is depressingly lame.

Yea everyone complaining about the same play being used over and over is justified. It makes the game completely unfair when you have one play that always 3-4 open option. If you cover the drag the post is open if you cover the post and the drag the flat is open if you cover everything the Qb takes off and runs. It is pretty ridiculous

While I agree with you on whats not broke dont fix its clear to those bring it up that if your going to allow the same play to be called at the pro level why not let ppl use cheat codes or other glitches to win. It would be like a boxer on roids. They are complaining about a standard that should be set at the pro level. Plus Skimbo been running that same stuff for 2 or 3 maddens nows and thats telling

Kristjan Sokoli but this isn’t real life your dealing with it’s a computer so a computer is only going to do what it’s commanded to by programmed A.i or user control so it’s up to the user to make yhere players play that formation better and Like I said little man was sending a blitz every time either 5 man or 6 man never straight up coverage all skimbo had to do is block the running back and tight end and it got picked up unless a blockshed happen skimbo ran a deep post curl concept that gets open because the zones little man had on field don’t play that deep and or that’s were his user was suppose to be and what did he do he use the playmaker ability sent someone down field it’s simple man nothing in madden does not have a counter to it you want to blitz everytime and don’t play honest defense you get torched

Im surprise this suppose to be the pro circuit and they let people run same play whole game. This is what's wrong with madden. They promote this kind of stuff and act like its good user play. Motion a guy hike and he gets speed boost smh. I would love to see them put more rules in play so play calling is mixed up. I would also like to see them call some type of penalty when users do things that exploit the game. Why the developers don't request this is beyond me they are making a mockery of their work so sad
@I’m wrong but I agree with you. I was just saying that EA should have rules that force these so call Pro's to actually play vs showing how to exploit the game. He ran I thinl 3 times and ran that same offense and defense all game. Now I understand if its allowed and working why not money on the line but this is what's wrong with madden and why its dying out.
People do not want to see the same exploit play over and over. That play was so glitchy that no matter what his opponent did 2 ppl was always open. He tried to run glitch blitzes and that didn't really work. EA needs some comp so they can get back to respectable right not its a joke. Hell there are rules to COD tournaments that disqualify you if you do certain things EA needs to do the same
@I’m wrong but Amen there should be some type of coding that tell CPU hey they ran same play so players reaction to it is different and the cpu takes over for the TO. Im not asking for game to be realistic completely but to allow this to happen is ridiculous. EA should also have a better hold on the so call pro game play. So I'm with you when you say they cpu should recognize it. They claim there is a system in play for CPU to recognize it but the play Skimbo calling like others only work when they send someone in motion to throw off coding
@I’m wrong but thats NCCA madden suppose to have it but ppl find ways to confuse coding like stacking players for blitz or motioning players and snapping while they in motion. Its all exploiting the game. If you was this game Skimbo always motion WR and high pass in redzone. CPU should recognize this and adjust to force user to call plays outside that one play like if they run it more then twice on a drive it goes into penalty and cpu picks it up no matter what.

No I didn't say but the defensive ai in the game is beyond stupid when it comes to some of these people running the same offense over and over again all i see on most of these competitive games is people playing bunch and crossifire all game and in opinion thats not realistic when it comes to football run the same plays over and over again

The thing is that sometimes when you make your own adjustments and players still don't keep up with their assignments... That is my problem.

Go use your fingers to search the web my keyboard warrior. Don't bother other people with your problems. Go take a design class and apply for their development studio. Doubt you can do better than the people that have spent 1000s of hours trying to figure out how to give you the best game they can.
I'll tell you if they are able to create self learning AI to that extent they shouldn't be designing football games

Miles Webber I use to think that’s all madden was. The point is to stop that play on defense and make him run something else. If you know what he’s running you can adjust your defense to stop whatever.

not at all tf I want the game to be balanced.. defense is more understandable to spam one play bc more teams run the same base coverage every play but just adjust the front 7... and idk if u watch football bc a lot of teams run a nickel set most of the game 😂...like everybody just waiting for these tourneys or waiting to another “glitch play” TH-cam video come out to find out what to run

I'm gonna put my troll hat on and say skimbo is trash, if he runs the same play on me i'd be smart enough to get out of nickle blitz 2 and he would be alost puppy because he only has 2 plays. I'd destroy all these "pro players because i'll run cover 0,cover1,cover2,cover3,cover 4, cover 6 and cover 9. On offense i'll run iform tight then mix in gun bunch wide then my 5 wide sets. Not to mention ill run stretch and wham 50 percentof the time. Mixing it up. Thats football
competitive madden is such garbage... no skill and the same plays run all day... absolute garbage and terrible to watch... I am going to watch Jmellflo RBT or NotTheExpert because they actually play with meaning and not the same continuous play and prayers... get good kids
