Equipment is useful BUT It's the great Team Effort of your family that will ensure you maintain the life style, too which you have become accustomed. Thanks for sharing 🧡🍺
Bad enough to have to remove all that snow, but then having to go back to your work shop to fix your snowblower. Bless your patience. You are amazing. Stay safe. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You need to carry a Big Bertha or a Persuader (BIG HAMMER)... You need a jocky box on your tractor to keep tools and stuff... good job! On our Honda 4 Wheelers, we added 2 12 volt fused car cigarette waterproof plugs for heated gloves and jacket. we up graded to top of line batteries, i think they were marine batteries
Drone shots look great Marc! Brain fart for big logs and rocks going through your snowblower. Build a grate from 1/4" X 2" flat bar or 1/2" rebar hinged on the top of the snowblower when you don't need it but, if you need it swing it down. This will allow the snow through but not big ugly material. Downside you have to get off the tractor to clear the debris. Just a thought. Enjoy the winter.
Cold 🥶 rain and high winds today and it is miserable! Maybe snow later 🤷♀️ Another reason I am grateful to be retired because I don’t have to get out of my warm home 🙏💞🙏
Our winter this year is no way as terrible as it was last year. We got high winds today too, and we are staying in and baking bread 🍞 and muffins for the week:) ~Ola
Yeah a cab for the tractor would be a nice way to combat the snow in your face. But I'm wondering if you could somehow run a circuit like the snowmobiles have for plugging in helmets for defogging the shields? You're pretty resourceful when it comes to repairs and modifications. Maybe it's an easy upgrade, and a helmet is probably around $100.
Maybe you are too get some square tubing and make you a boat on frame so that you could build a windshield they keep all the excess snow from blowing back into your face
A couple of suggestions when the wind is blowing the snow back at you why not drive all the way down and clear the road up the mountain 2)on section you haven't done before throw on a blade instead of the blower for the first run then all rocks and stick should be gone so you don't have as much in the repair sep on the snowblower 3)when clearing the road start at one side and move all the way over to the opposite side with each pass ensuring that the wind doesn't blow the snow back over what you just cleared also prevent windrows in the center of the road Incase someone is going down or up the mountain gives as much room as possible , just remember these are only suggestions . Awesome video and cinematography .
been pretty much one storm after another this week, got buried here last night. Good luck and hopefully the rest of the rocks/logs are out of the way the rest of the season
...do you and Red Poppy Ranch take turns plowing the main road...? How does that arrangement work? They've got the plow truck and you've got the snow thrower
THAT ROAD SHOULD BE CLEARED BY HEAVY SNOW PLOW. AFTER CLEARED BY PLOW THEN MAYBE IT COULD BE MAINTAINED WITH YOUR SNOWBLOWER. JUST A THOUGHT. GOOD LUCK GUYS ‼️‼️
Watching yours and Heath's maintenance on your road makes me happy I only have to maintain a bit over 1/2 mile of roadway to get to our property. Having the right tools for the job is a must. I'm glad I spoiled myself with a heated cab with a stereo on my tractor. Stay safe and stay warm.
what if you add an extension to the discharge shoot to get it away from you further? just a thought, you could probably use pvc or a thin wall pipe and support it with a simple brace, just make it held on with pins for quick attach.
Hey Mark. I had my snowblower out a few days ago in Clinton Ut. The wind was blowing so I had to blow to the south! Have you thought of getting an old full face motorcycle helmet? Might help a bit. The one I have has a nose piece to keep your breath out of the face shield. Stay safe and warm neighbor.
I have one and use it when it’s really bad. This was not bad, I run warm typically and was fine out there. Last year was really bad and I did use my old motorcycle helmet.
Seeing things from the drone makes me think . I sure hope any of you don't drink alcohol and decide to take a drive. I don't think you would make it down the mountain safe. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@MountainMapleRanch That’s what I figured. Do the newer ones have plastic parts? Can you repair the newer ones? Hopefully one will come up at an action near you.
My goodness! I'm in the Caribbean where its always either dry or wet! My good sir it seems you buy these shearpins/bolts by the dozen come winter. Pray all goes well for the rest of the winter.
It's very hard to stay calm when things like this happen ,if it's just a shear pin not a big deal but going in the garage to fix one thing after another there's a few swear words that come to mind lol thank you for sharing well done
I can understand not having a cab or a tractor with an enclosed cab, but a face mask/goggles will protect your eyes and face. You need to account for windburn, chilblains/frostbite, and potential eye damage from sunlight/wind.
Our best laid plans, can sometimes get really messed up by logs and rocks when blowing snow. UGG! Really big hammer (RBH) I remember one time when my father-in-law and his wife were helping my wife and me build our house. I asked my mother-in-law to go get the BFH. She was like what the heck is a BFH, my father in law, and I looked at each other and smiled, and then we told her.😂
I hope you have a good supply of shear bolts, master links and other items that commonly break on hand. If you have a storage spot on the tractor you might want to keep a supply of items that break in it for the snow blowing season.
high teens maybe 20's hahaha i am at -12 and tomorrow -35 they said and it isn't with wind these are actual. high teens shorts and tank top weather hahahaha.
When I lived in Alaska we would get the negative temperatures and your eyes would freeze. But here it’s tolerable and we have really warm clothes. ~Ola
Hi folks I have one question why put the shop so far from the house ,,is it the only flat land you have your place is like a mushroom it keeps growing cheers 🙏❤️😁👍🦘🇦🇺🇺🇸
Having added the Drone helps all your viewers really appreciate your property challenges. Thank you
Awesome drone footage
The drone shots are really cool. Makes it fun to watch.
Well when you're in town you might as well pick up a few master links also.. Looking good.. Stay safe and have a great day.👍🤓👍🤓Randy.
Seems like heaven to me assuming you have the patience of Jobe. Keep the home fires burning 🙂
Thanks for sharing, stay warm my friend. 🎅🏻
Thank you so much!!
Thanks again for your time making the video watching from Reno NV

Wow. I would have quit after the first problem. Take care and be blessed.😊

Oh man, you have the patience of Jobe. 🇨🇦
That would drive me crazy.😬
Always love watching this vast land mass covered under thick blanket of snow. Soon picturesque ❤
Mark do yourself a favor, install a Cab heater and get a fully enclosed Cab for the tractor...!

@@MountainMapleRanch We have been experiencing another strange winter. 🤷♀️ Just made Cornbread and Goulash. Oh yummy. 👍 Stay safe sweetheart 🙏💞

👍 I guess somebody has to live in those conditions, sure as hell will never be me, it would take Bill Gates kind of money! Good job though, good luck.

What about a face cover except your eyes and mouth, have a bless day😮😊💜👍
Could😂you make a portable cabin for the winter.
U need a cab for your tractor?🇮🇪☘️or make a polycarbonate sheet screen.

Me too!! I’m looking out on auctions, so far it’s a waiting game. They run pretty expensive.

Any chance of getting a removable cab for winter activities on the tractor?
If it's not one thing, it's another. 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🥶😂

need a heat houser on the tractor

I just thinking if a guy was to adapt a blower for a 4x4 truck so you have heat and tractor would be free at anytime
I always go over my driveway with a drag after the first snowfall or plow the first one to get rid of any objects before using the blower
Is there a larger cab tractor in your future?
He has been looking at Auctions but no luck yet. They are terribly expensive.
@karengossett1475
It just seems that with the blower, one would be nice.
I am new to watching his channel

I usually prefer my broom over the shovel for after powder cleaning. Best wishes for easy snow
It seems like a never ending battle with the snow and rocks but you always keep moving forward
Great job blowing snow ❄️
I've never used any kind of snow blower but could put Extinction pipe on it just saying
