Every time you sing "smoke on the water" it sounds like the intro to a Bond film and I love it.
I have noticed that many of her covers have that effect. I love it!
This is a surprising cover in that you wouldn't expect a classic rock song to be turned into a 1920s cabaret tune. I like it! Very well done, Robyn.
Wow... this was a heck of a lot better than I expected. The Deep Purple version is a heavy song. Who would have thought that a 1920's style cover would sound so good. GREAT job Robyn.

Outrageous!!! Taking a Rock song like this and reinterpreting it like this with such class, talent and musical expertise, ha ha. It works, square peg in a round hole, but you managed it, incredible.
I had VIP tickets to the Deep Purple tour right before the pandemic started, and I got to see them do this a few feet from me, and I think your version is great too. Great songs work across genres.
