funnily enough, while observing the layout of this architecture, i got inspiration to do a more modern/neon city illustration. i think it's pretty cool how you can find inspiration in things that seem very different at first if you break them down.
I love your drawings! I've been drawing every day for about 6 months and am super passionate about drawing architecture. I understand the basics of 1-3 point perspective but you're doing a lot of other stuff with your ellipses and setting things on planes that is so cool. Do you have any recommendations for how to learn how to put those to use in observational drawing? Thanks so much and great work!
Hi! Thanks for nice words! You need to imagine object which you want to draw as a group of geometric solids, and then transform it into a some scene. :) Don't take another step which is a drawing details until you're sure that proportions and composition of a scene is right. Good luck :)
Subhanallah, karya anda sangat keren...👍 Saya tidak akan menyia-nyiakan setiap vidio yang anda unggah... Terimakasih telah meng-inspirasi... Salam dari Indonesia 🇮🇩🙏
Sir, how to see lines properly in a grid to have more accurate perspectives and proportions? I've been struggling to see those lines. And I think this is more like a finished drawing than a sketch 😅
So initially I wanted to copy the size and distance between the windows with extending diagonal lines, but the decided just to copy them 1:1 as no perspective abbreviation happen on this wall.
I don't really know any books about architecture drawing tbh. I'm almost done with my online course on that topic if you're interested though. I should have post some new videos, but for now I'm prioritizing finishing a course :)
Prespective is ocean of invisible lines. What meets our eyes is the visible lines. We call it views. Here Our friend is a master. I wish to share my daily sketches, with him , some 20000 travelsketches, in Tim span of years. Quick sketches become art peices today
I know this video is over four years old, but I had to comment. This is not Spain. This scene is in Rome and the building on the left is the Gelateria called Cucina del Teatro. You can find this exact view on Streetview.
We should keep in mind this is a daily sketch. I can deal with the tables, they were drawn with a more fluid, diffuse and carefree trait. Perhaps because they are not the focal point of attention, and so that there is no distraction, they are not given as much detail. The angle of the nearest lamplight has gone a little more unnoticed, in my opinion. However, you Sir have a great overall sense of rigorous perspective, and that's awesome to see perfom. Keep up the good work. In order to make a more constructive criticism, I say that I can imagine why this occurs because it happens to me all the time. When we draw, the perspective definition can be artistically tiresome, and then our brain seeks rest. In the «ludic» interval in which we design a lamplight, we may fall into the temptation to forget the perspective order or the whole. The suggestion I make is to discipline the drawing process in 3 or more steps: first the guidelines, then the definition of form and detail, and finally the light, shadow and finalization.

I've been struggling to see those lines. And I think this is more like a finished drawing than a sketch 😅
Can anyone explain to tm the technique you used in the beginning with the lines? I’m sorry I’m a newbie.. Thank you!

wow superb
Which pen do you use that gives the different line weights?
Hey I was wondering, where can I learn to better understand how to draw perspective. Any books or YT video recommendations? Thanks
2:00 WHAT was this about ?
just windows but why the criss cross lines ?
So initially I wanted to copy the size and distance between the windows with extending diagonal lines, but the decided just to copy them 1:1 as no perspective abbreviation happen on this wall.
very Wonderful.
Wonderful
the expertise to steels come in flash, just like photos transferred in to wood,
How many Hours did this take you? It would probably take me three or four times that time to do this

This video was very instructive! Thank you :)
Monalisa thanks for comment. I'm glad it was helpful :)
I can't believe you did that without pencil
I saw an image on pixel surplus which looked exactly like this which made me curious and I had to watch your video :P
Rangeeli _Basant haha right thumbnails are everything! :-D
The closest lamp on the wall looks odd because its perspective is from downwards while everything else is from upwards. 🤔
Wow! I love your content man, would you kindly suggest me some books for beginners? And why did you stop posting new videos?

Where I can find this video in normal speed?
I really want to draw it because it's so difficult to follow it in that speed.
Unfortunately there is only speeded up video, I also deleted footage of all episodes :(

I'm sorry, but looking at those chairs and tables hurts.
