From Jerky's Bar & Grill, The Pork Pit, Scotchies and to the 'Jerk Pan Man' selling pan chicken in Sam Sharpe Square, we tasted some of the best Jamaican Jerk Food/ street food (Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork) you can find in Mobay!

Love you girls! Love your vibe, Kayy! Say hi to Britt for me. Nice video. Love the edits. I have never had any food in Mobay. I usually just fly in there and drive up to St. Mary.
I have had Scotchies jerk pork in Drax Hall, St. Ann. I usually have it with the little bammies (usually order 6 for around $80 a piece) and jerk sauce, and wash it down with a Magnum. It was good. I have also had it from Ocho Rios Jerk Center and it wasn't bad, but a bit expensive because it's a popular tourist spot.
I've had it Tower Jerk Center in Tower Isle, St. Mary. There's almost choked me to death. It was too dry. I think it was the chef though, but he's not there anymore, so it might be better now. They have a wide variety of stuff on their menu everyday, but their conch dishes portions are too small and too expensive (compared to my other spot where I get a lot more for $500.00 less), but very good. They have tourists' price because of Couples Tower Isle resort across the street and a bunch of luxury Airbnb villas. Check 'em out: 975-4644.
My favorite is from Lyming in Walkerswood, St. Ann, just a little south of the Walkerswood Jerk Seasoning factory. My only disappointment with them is that they don't do bammy, and their sides are like roast yam and roast sweet potato. I don't remember if they do festival. However, you can get a meal with rice and peas and whatever sides they serve with it.
I like to hangout up there because the elevation is high and the view is amazing. It's always cool in the evenings on hot summer days, so it's a nice place to go and cool off when the rest of Jamaica is scorching hot.
They need to do better with the menu though. They don't have everything everyday. Special days for curried goat, special days for curried chicken, special days for goat head soup and all that foolishness.
Idk if they are still doing it, but on the last sunday of each month, they used to have a breakfast buffet with a lot of things they don't normally have on their regular menu, like corned pork and your grandma's type, old school chocolate tea (hot chocolate). If they are still doing it, maybe you could take a ride up there on the last Sunday of a month one morning and vlog it. Call them: 917-2812.

I swear if anyone of those places you showcased in the video opened a place here in Toronto, it would be a gold mine. We have lots of jerk chicken places, and I've tried just about all of them, and they're never any good. The only time you get good ones is when Caribana is on. (huge Caribbean festival). I think because it's not grilled over coals like Jamaica or something. I'm not sure, but it's crazy because when done right, like the places your video, jerk chicken is my favorite food. When not done right, I couldn't care less about having it.
I swear I want to come there and convince one of these people to go into business with me.

I went looking for him and I haven't seen him. Please help me find him. He has 2 daughters and is hard working and always professional. Also great customer service. I couldn't get money from the ATM one time and he let me get the food for free. I almost cried. His pork is amazing also guys. Scotchies has better chicken than pork. The vibes at scotchies are great. Dig the music at scotchies. The pork at pork pit is great. Ironically the best jerk pork I ever had was at the jerk hut at holiday inn Mobay. They probably brought it in from pork pit. Never eat the pan chicken. Can’t eat cooked chicken that the dude just poked with fork he just used to flip raw chicken. Can’t risk it. De bar in Negril used to have the best chicken but they’re closed and have a new place with new name. Need to get there and check em out.

Also there plantains, and jerk sauce are flame... (i think they told me at pork pit that they marinate for 2-3 days)
