Loving the series. Of all the cars I've owned with fast BMWs and Audi my Helios blue mk2 gti back in the day was my favourite and I had a few mk2s they were so good to drive. I know British winters and salt cause havoc with cars but surprised an old Volkswagen corroded so much.
glad your enjoying it mate, rest assured after a slightly longer than expected hiatus I'll be back on the builds shortly 🙌 I think alot of the rot issue's depend on how the cars have been treated/repaired in the past, I've seen 60s and 70s British built cars without a single spec of rust after 20-30 years being parked up, same with some 80s and 90s cars but I've also seen 60s cars rip in half when getting winched onto a trailer and 90s cars with flintstone floors 😂
Love the series mate! I'm doing this repair in a few weeks, any advice for doing the part underneath? The plate that has the holes in it to undo the bumper? Cheers
I'll be doing that repair next week on the O/S and as of yet have absolutely no plan of action 😅 once I get 1 I'll be sure to drop a comment here for you 👍
In the spirit of constructive criticism great job, top skills but God awful music. I ended up watching with the sound off in the end. Great work though, looks good.
cheers mate, I'll be totally honest I have to agree with the music, but it's the best of a bad situation with free TH-cam music 😅 I'll see what I can do with the videos to follow 👍
