My Grandfather use to let me sit on his lap and drive his car on the back road near his home. Seeing your little man on your lap brought a flood of happy memories back to me! Joy!
Hi Angela, I read a great quote the other day. "Aprons are capes turned backwards" So we homemakers should consider ourselves super hero in disguise. Happy homemaking!
I have basked in your potager videos, today. You are quite amazing and so hard-working. I love your pond in the center of the garden. I watched the videos where you show you making it and then the finished product~ well not all the plants in it yet! I was excited with you regarding your new apple trees! I watched your July tour of your garden first and then went back and watched some older videos. Now I want to watch the tour again to be even more wowed by the beautiful fruit of your labor. I love the periodic showing of animals and the clucking of the hens in one of the videos. You are a delight. May God give you continued grace and strength as you manage your lovely cottage and garden and family.
Hello from Ireland! So funny, today I dragged my husband up the lane, ( mainly used for cows and horses) and foraged a wild sorrel, 2 wild strawberry plants, an oak seedling, 2 ferns and a wild honeysuckle vine from the hedgerows to plant in my hedgerow garden! Your vlogs are lovely! Thanks!
I just love watching and seeing your garden grow and take shape. My 18 year old was watching over my shoulder and said “I remember sitting on your lap to drive mama” I would let my girls help me park the car and they loved it and it clearly is a beautiful memory. Your children are a credit to you. God bless you and keep you safe. 🥰
Hi Angela as usual a lovely video .... I feel like I say the same comments over and over.... but I’m just in awe of all you do. I was talking about you and your channel to my husband over coffee the other morning. I said she gets up really early goes to the gym (when it’s open )😏. Comes home puts herself together and makes breakfast for 6 kids.... then.... home schools....works for hours on her property.... starts seeds .... has animals on her farm....paints with water colors...works at her Do Terra business...wrote a cookbook and cooks amazing meals...podcast...blog. And on and on wow! That’s you. You are unique.... my husband said she must of had strong women in her family to be like that? I said yes her Grandmother had a farm and I’m sure her Mom is very accomplished. Love the example you give all of us here watching you. Thank you...you are appreciated Stay well❤️🌻🌼🌸🌺🌹🐓🐐🐇🐱🐝
I'm a new viewer from Australia, you really inspire me with your food, your garden and your wonderful family. I love seeing your hard work pay off during your Potager series. Keep those videos coming.
We are enjoying our first batch of tomatoes here in Northwest Florida. What a pleasure it is to eat your own home grown food. Darling Junior looks just like you, btw. His little face next to yours while he was “driving” - twinkies.
so glad to hear you say just lay dahlia on its side if it does not have a neck, i planted a couple weeks ago and told myself i should try it, and your confirmation sealed it for me, thanks for your steady reassurance about this and that
Out of all the TH-cam uploads today, yours was the only one that could make me stop cleaning my carpets and rearranging my furniture! Always worth the wait. Love love the Violas. My great-grandmother’s name was Viola, so having them around always reminds me of her. The Potager is coming along beautifully! We know you are spread thin, so thank you for the lovely video today!
Another lovely video Angela & lovely music always make time to sit and watch your videos,i am not the biggest gardening fan but i just love your gardening videos and watching your garden thrive & change.would love to see some more cooking /homestyling/updates when you get time X
Angela, my Japanese painting teacher taught us to use masking tape all around the paper which holds it down AND creates a lovely white border! And, to turn your gray hair brown again - 1 teaspoon or so of Blackstrap Molasses! It works! That and loads of daily dark green veggies = no more gray hair! 🐰👧😄🌿💙🌱👋👩🐇
Christina Haftmann how often and how do you use (blackstrap) molasses? Will it say blackstrap on the bottle? I have not noticed that word on my bottle.
@@martiknapp762 Marti, decades ago when I didn't have gray hair it was called Blackstrap Molasses but now my bottle says just unsulphered, non- GMO Robust Molasses. This is a strong dose of iron so a teaspoon a day should be enough. But I also find if I have steamed Kale, Swiss Chard and broccoli etc etc almost every night my hair also gets darker. Just enjoy the process - it's like a scientific experiment! 🙏👧❤👩🙏
Hello Angela, Your tomatoes look great. I lived in Iowa for the first 45 years of my life. I usually didn't put tomatoes in until around the first of June because i had not warmed up enough until then. I actually remember my very first tomato !! Hope we will see you tonight on a chat !
Angela💜Enjoying the beginnings of Potager season 3 & Homemaker chic... You inspired me to get my hands in the dirt this spring... I'm happy to report the bulbs in my container have breached the top layer of soil!! I'm feeling hopeful! T. Y.
Another absolutely lovely video Ang! Thank you for dedicating the time to make them and share with the world. P.S. The podcast is a beacon of light and laughter during this crazy time. I look forward to Monday's and Blursday's!
Thanks for the beautiful video I waited for. You made me get up and get some Dahlia and Lobelia this afternoon. I will be planting tomorrow. This evening I spent with my husband, sitting by our outside-fire. Thank you so much for inspiring me. Be blessed.
Love it, Angela! Wish we were neighbors...it would be such fun swapping perennials and ideas. I keep trying to get my friends hooked on gardening. Maybe someday!
Love all of your content here and the podcasts. I have recomended you to another fellow gardener, homemaker etc. Dale Calder and I think you could glean a lot of gardening knowledge from him. He is just plain interesting to watch, total gardening (Chic) joy, oldtimey cooking and info etc. A man's experience.
I planted my Dahlia tubers late - this last Tuesday. Here in MI, just 20 miles from the Big Lake, we get some of the later to warm spring you do so I'll soon be augmenting with pushed ones from the GC. My Knockouts & dwarf butterfly bush, all protectively over wintered in my garden, were transplanted for summer display in some of my biggest pots a month or so ago and are beginning to nicely leaf out. Now that it's finally warm, my tomatoes, collards, kale, & lettuce have been planted. Here the last frost date is reported to typically be the 17th so apparently I must be expecting that this year we've already seen it. Very much enjoyed the video - especially the part where your Son was doing the steering. My Grandfather often gave me the same thrilling opportunity when I was a kid.
This is so lovely. I so look forward to your videos.♡ My love for Dahlia flowers goes so deep I named my first daughter Dahlia. ♡ 🌸 ♡ Junior is an excellent driver! 😉
You have truly inspired me to turn this black thumb into a green one. Watching a learning from you has been a joy and has shocked and stunned my family and friends with what I have accomplish. My garden hear in Oregon is thriving and in bloom. Makes my heart happy! Thank you for all you create

Dahlias are one of my all time favorite flowers. Thanks to much inspiration from you I am enjoying creating a beautiful garden here in northern California. Thanks for the beauty you share with all your viewers.
*love* the fountain behind you! Cant wait to see your garden come to life! I live in South Texas so my garden has already done its spring thing. We have our own challenges as we can have freezing weather and 90°-95° in the same week. The struggle is real for our plants.
So lovely ! 💕 everything u do seems so eloquent and well orchestrated ...... ur like that commercial that illustrates calm .... lovely steady rain...... thank u for allowing me to walk in ur garden, and drive in the car with ur adorable sons!!!! BTW.... tell ur son he is a good driver!🚘
Brilliant!! I am binge watching your potager come to life.. It all looks so wonderful. A lot of work but nothing is worth it like providing a sustaining food source for you and your loved ones. Question: Where do you get your gardening boots? They look very sturdy.. Thanks Missouri Ozarksflipper Suzanne PS.. Where are you getting your Tomato seeds??
It is spring!! hey!! children are growing. ( driving ) Here in Iowa it is really warming up. The sun is so bright today and I am getting in the mood to go to the garden center. I always buy to much. So onward upward!! till next time have fun. Joyce
I always love your gardening videos. You also just brought up a wonderful memory for me... We have a cottage in the UP of MI, and when we went up there & got to the back road, my Dad would always let me get on his lap and "drive". Oh that was SUCH a fun thing as a kid! I looked forward to it every year. It is something I plan to do with my kids. Thank you for the wonderful video! What gardening zone are you in?
I love the videos! I’m in Indiana below you and we’ve still had some cold but you motivate me to keep plugging away outside in the fresh air. Our first set of tomatoes didn’t make it so planning to try again in the end of May. 💕
Amy, it's one of my LEAST favorite things to do. I whine like a baby about it. My tip would be, whatever directions you read, follow them, don't cut corners. OR if you do - then be prepared to use glass jars as I did on my lettuces or a sheet of plastic for any days that you cut out of the process. Does that make sense?
This makes me so happy! Thank you! Just got put on modified bed rest due to complications with my pregnancy, so I'm having to kiss all my gardening plans goodbye. Next year I'll kill it. For now I'll watch you kill it.
Remember please to insist that the boys use the seatbelts...even in the driveway...there have been tragedies because that was not done. We can't be over careful. Love your channel
Oh〜 Driving sitting on mommy or papa’s laps have become an lost art. I miss those sweet old calmer society.

The Peter Pan play going on in the background when you are planting the dahlias is so cute. "You can fly..."

Just getting into flowers, and I am loving it💐so much to learn though. Relaxing video 😍
Ooooo, I'm so glad. Welcome!
He has grown up
Interesting bell jars. Here in Missouri, I see plastic milk jugs and juice jugs being used the same way. Do you have a memory garden?
Yay finally
Seriously, right?? Glad you're here.
Love all of your videos!! I can't find where to order the gorgeous copper heart pan. Please, help!
I always get inspiration of you ! xxx
Really enjoy watching your videos. my question is ...when did you start your tomato seeds and also what type of grow light do you have?
Is it so cold in your area right now in the middle of May? Wow.
How long do you leave your seedlings under the mason jars?
My kids love to “drive” as well. Never too young.❤️
I would like to have one of your paintings
Susan, That is so humbling. I can't believe it. Would you like to email me and we can arrange that? angela@parisiennefarmgirl.com
I love the videos! I’m in Indiana below you and we’ve still had some cold but you motivate me to keep plugging away outside in the fresh air. Our first set of tomatoes didn’t make it so planning to try again in the end of May. 💕

Do you have any tips for hardening off plants? This is my first year starting seeds indoors instead of direct sowing.

Why the glasses over the small plants?
Do you have any experience dividing baptisia? I’ve read it’s possible but can’t find anyone that has successfully done it.
Remember please to insist that the boys use the seatbelts...even in the driveway...there have been tragedies because that was not done. We can't be over careful. Love your channel
Marvette Delphine Yes, yes we can be over careful. It’s called being a helicopter mom.
