  • Listen to Billie Jean by MJ and you will know what the "Tyler Sound" is. That is a combo of pickups with a preamp and one of the pickups in parallel. Our good friend Shawn Tynan ‪@gtrchum‬ shows two different clean licks in three stages each. First with just the neck and middle, then he adds the preamp with no midboost and then he puts the middle pickup in parallel. You will see how each thing just keeps adding to that sound that you have heard on thousands of recordings. Please enjoy.

Schecter (Tom Anderson) Strat pick guard assembly, Alembic Strat-O-Blaster. What is old is new again. That was what I was using 43 years ago, through a 50W Marshall half stack with a 120V DOD Chorus, MXR Analog Delay, and MXR 10 band Graphic EQ (both also 120V). The demo is a good representation of what it would sound like clean, 4 master, 5 channel. The 120V effects were way quieter than 9V pedals. I ran all three pickups a lot, bridge and neck switched down, middle switched up.

Sorry I missed this. I sent Dann a few outlines to sign and we picked our favorite and it is a decal like the logo.
