This was a fantastic tour and breakdown of the island. I was there in august 2016, and I can’t believe how much had changed after seeing your video.
Like, I only remember there being two 7-11s on the island. (Although I was pretty inebriated most of my time there 😋).

Really nice video, though Im very confused with a couple of beaches, Kiu and Wai. I have been to Kiu, but i was told it was named Wai by the people working there ;-) However its the best beach I've been to, all over Thailand! You mentioned that you like underwater photography and it looked like you were on a boat trip to Koh Kudi/Kut. But if you go even further from there to Koh Thalu. Its just amazing. Different sharks, turtles, tons of colorful fish and you might be lucky to end up in one of those huge shoal of anchovies, 10 of thousands all around you. The island itself inhabitats thousands of flying dogs sleeping in the trees during daytime. Its one of two favourite snorkling destination in Thailand together with Mu Ko Surin National Park, on the border to Burma. Keep up the good work!

I am actually also confused between Kiu and Wai, I just follow what the sign says) I went exactly at those 3 islands, I wrote in my Facebook posts) the place is amazing just I guess that day I didn’t have much luck! Check my Koh Tao video! There I filmed so much underwater world. It was really one of the most impressive in Thailand.

Just got home from a 4 day trip to Koh Scamet. Been to Koh Chang, Koh Larn and Koh Samui. Koh Scamet is a place I wont return. Seems many there have schemes in place unlike the other Islands I have been to. Of course just my experience.
It’s sad you had a bad experience! For me it’s totally the opposite! I am happy to come back again and again! No scams! Just peaceful laid back vibe) great for relaxing
