Hi Jen! I'm Christian too. My husband and I were also both Christians when we met and both in the worship team too but from different churches. We just knew that we were for each other so we got engaged after six months of dating and got married 9 months later. Our age gap is almost 9 years. We're 4 years married now. I think your relationship is really meant to be because you guys started at a place where God is really present and also influences a lot. And with relationships sometimes it starts awkward but the longer you get to know your partner the more you love them. I really like your marriage story because God really is a great foundation for a good relationship especially for married couples. Thank you for sharing this! :)

Jen, your story is very much like mine. God is good. He provided my dear husband for me too. We known each other for some time but no magic at all. And then during a church conferenc our hearts was moved. Our dating was focus around marriage and not fooling around. Now we love each other more and more because God still stand next to us. I am blessed to have him in my life.

Just subbed! I got married last year and im 21yrs old now. We are both korean. It was a very hard decision for me back then. We only got to know each other for 4months we didnt know each other at all before. I cant imagine making that kinna decision at 18 and keeping that marriage for 7years!! Thats is so sweet and lovely. Your story gives me a lot of courage thank you!

I got married when I was 22 and I tought I was young ahah. It's actually a similar situation though we didn't met through God (we're actually non-practicant) but through the army. We were both in the military so the relashionship got really serious really fast. We dated long-distance for 2 years before moving in together and get married, it was a wild ride! Congratulations on your marriage, it seems very successful, you are clearly putting a lot of efforts in it!

there is a study that says the longer a couple is together, the more they look like each other so couples who have been together for 60+ years look much more alike than those who've been together 2 years, so I wouldn't be surprised :')
I'm not religious at all (my family is though) but your story definitely made a lot of sense for what works for you both so well, you're not forcing it down people's throats and just sharing what a wonderful experience you have had (and are having), so lovely to see in contrast to a lot of religious people I come in contact with! ^_^

Wow, just started watching your videos & this is such an encouragement. I'm 25 now & started dating my boyfriend when we were 21. From the start, I told him that this is definite commitment until the end because I didn't want another date & then break up relationship.
