While they still use the same scripting language, the mw19 engine and mw22 engines were both built from scratch, not upgraded. Iw1-8 was from cod4 to infinite warfare, and those were the only time the engine was ever upgraded.

I feel like the military camos for WZ are gonna be based on kills, like instead of 10 headshots for the first camo it’ll be 10 kills. Its something simple that everyone can do, but it will just take time. Not sure what the actual values of each specific camo will be, but thats my assumption.
This talk of them removing Rebirth AGAIN during their "retooling" for omni-movement or whatever makes me sad. Based on my experience so far, this is what I expect will happen: 1) Rebirth disappears for way too long so they can "get it ready" for the new engine 2) They bring it back FINALLY, and the glitches and exploits are ridiculous for the first 2 months while they play catchup patching everything, and it's frustrating to play 3) After way too long and then some, it's finally back to where we have it now (or not, based on the playlist-- bring back solos, damn it!) Why don't they just throw it up on day one? There are no better beta testers/glitch finders than the general Warzone population-- every single exploit and glitch, with painstaking instructions on how to achieve it, will be on youtube and TikTok within hours, and the devs can have fixes banged out in less than a week. BAM. Map is good to go with almost no downtime, instead of taking 2 months to eventually come back with glitches and exploits anyway. People will complain either way, so why not just rip that band-aid off and get it over with fast? Or is that just crazy talk?

its the same game engine Initial release October 2005; 18 years ago IW 2.0 to IW 3.0 The engine has been distinct from the id Tech 3 engine on which it is based since Call of Duty 2 in 2005. just a upgraded version of the IW

IW engine will never leave call of duty, infinity ward created COD. its their engine, why would they allow anyone else to use a singular different engine, yes they have used two different engines for some games like black ops series and sledgehammer cods but they have to use I.W engine, its in their contracts lol
When i talk about bringing wz1 back i mean like bringing back what the game feels like,im not sure how to describe it but i think there were just no animations delaying stuff like crouching and drop shotting were faster in wz1 but if you try to crouch and uncrouch in wz2/3 its very slow,and bringing back floating loot and the way visual recoil worked,there was barely any unless you use a 7x scope on an AR but you're not gonna do that
Global weapon thing sounds like fake hype. If you save a custom build rn in wz3 and mw3 and name it, it can be found in both under that weapon. So we already have that they just actually gave it a name.

The only way of having a decent cod would be to remove that bs and balance out smgs. But since they can’t seem to do that… I have never even played it, and despised it from what I’ve seen and heard, but I’d choose Battlefield 2042 anyday over this game. To each their own I guess.
