"The Immaculate Reception" at 15:30 is made even more incredible b/c of the rules at the time. Back then, a receiver couldn't touch/tip the ball to another offensive player consecutively before it was caught. The only way Franco Harris could legally catch that throw is if it bounced off of Jack Tatum and wasn't last touched by John Fuqua. The fact that it seems that did happen, that Harris made a shoestring catch, and this was a divisional playoff game all add to the lore of this incredible play. Definitely deserving of its spot near the top here. 👌
@@Dontworryaboutit69696 I think so too, but it's still a legal catch by Harris as long as Tatum touched it after Fuqua. However, that does kind of make the name for the play a bit of a misnomer then, huh?

A great highlight package of some really awesome and surprisingly unexpected games finishes. One that sticks in my head was the Saints punter Russell Erxleben literally giving up the ball against the Falcons in overtime early during the 1979 season. Insane!
Brett Favre throwing a ball on a rope 50 yards while on the move straight to the chest with 0 margin for error is the most amazing play I've seen live in my life.
1:18 I love how someone finally found a clip from an Eagles Giants game that resulted in a team winning against seemingly infinite odds… with the Giants coming out on top. There’s like 10 that go the other way. It’s insane.
Its crazy that I havent seen a good chunk of these before, normally i watch the same old types of videos like these to see the same old clips, but this is refreshing! Thanks!
The Catch I shouldn't have been on here. Yes, it was a game winner, but if it had to be on here it should have been the first one. There is absolutely nothing remarkable or impossible about it. It's a routine pitch and catch.
Refs are attached to the field of play, so it wouldn't be interference. Seen countless running backs bash into them and receivers use them as screens to get open. Just part of the game.
Ty so much for this compilation of these “Un-Freaking-Believable-Finishes” I remembered a lot of them & great to see the “old school” teams that I watched growing up. Also, saw many I do not remember. Emotional vid for me as well having played all major sports and knowing the “thrill of victory & the agony of defeat..”
3:30 this winning play may have determined the Super Bowl winner that year. The TD gave the '91 Falcons a season sweep of the 49ers, which ultimately put the Falcons in the playoffs and kept the 49ers out. Despite missing the playoffs, the 49ers ended the season on a 6-game winning streak and looked scary good doing so. Had they gotten in, they would've been a handful for anyone, including the Redskins. In a parallel universe, those two teams clashed in an epic playoff game.
This is the 3rd time I have seen you in a comment section in the last 2 days. First it was on DougDoug’s Rosa birthday video, then Not The Experts NCAA Baseball series, and now on a football highlights video. This is getting ridiculous at this point lol.
I forgot about the Will Hill play. I was expecting the Mile High Miracle but remembered that wasn’t technically a game winner. The record setting field goal was nuts when it happened, set up by a big time throw from Lamar. That end zone camera angle still makes it look like it bounces outwards.
*_Broncos fan here, and there’re a few gems from my Broncos in these clips. The last one is still my favourite! The Fins fucking the Gaytriots outta home games in the playoffs is priceless!_*
The play where the official knocks Tim Brown off his route is a bit suspect!?! I know when you're on the field you have to be aware of thier presence, but if you look back at the play not only does the ref dart right into his path immediately, but he looks right at Brown and takes more than a few steps directly into his path all while staring right at him! I'm not gonna say he intended to interfere with Brown and cause an int, but IMO he definitely did not at all attempt to get out of the way and literally went out of his way to block Browns path which seems to be intentional considering he's staring right at him while doing so!
I think that referee crews need to be held to account for intentionally interfering in plays in favor of a team in a game because it undermines their positions as unbiased officials in a game, and if anyone argues otherwise, then they can spend the rest of their lives inside of a prison cell in solitary confinement, and that is IF I am feeling generous, and ditto for the referee crews that allowed it to happen as well.
After the Minneapolis Miracle my dad posted on Facebook “Who dat, dat Stefon Diggs. GO TERPS!!!” We’re diehard Maryland fans if you can’t tell. Our Saints friends got very much royally pissed off.
I still stand by the bills v titans kickoff toward the end included a forward pass by the Titans to win it. Just look at the lines. He clearly threw the ball forward.
Two overtimes against the Bengals, I beg to differ. And the second one in particular, as the Eagles false started themselves out of field goal range. And chose not to attempt a Hail Mary.

Garrison Hearst Week 1 OT walk-off 90+ yd TD! What a run! Brings back good memories!
from thinking my team was gonna face New Orleans in the NFC Championship, to seeing a miracle happen in Minnesota 😮 couldn't believe it 🤯 and possibly the only time Joe Buck actually showed some emotion
But we got shit on the next week
A great highlight package of some really awesome and surprisingly unexpected games finishes. One that sticks in my head was the Saints punter Russell Erxleben literally giving up the ball against the Falcons in overtime early during the 1979 season. Insane!
I don’t get why the qb didn’t just throw the ball out of bounds
Brett Favre throwing a ball on a rope 50 yards while on the move straight to the chest with 0 margin for error is the most amazing play I've seen live in my life.
at the age of like 40 too.
The mike Wallace catch for Steelers is so underrated. The throw and catch is literally perfection
I was waiting for the Miami miracle and to have it as the last play shown just makes it even better
Yeah I knew that Pats v Miami game was gonna be here. I still remember shouting, “stop him, Stop Him! STOP HIM!! *STOP HIM!!!* “
1:18 I love how someone finally found a clip from an Eagles Giants game that resulted in a team winning against seemingly infinite odds… with the Giants coming out on top. There’s like 10 that go the other way. It’s insane.
4:58 probably the cleanest and most effort I've seen in a touchdown.
Brian Reed’s touchdown against the Giants was pure happiness. 1:34
“Was that good?”
*ref raises both arms
“LETS GO!!!”
Just started the video, I already know it's gonna be CAUGHT! DIGGS! SIDELINE! TOUCHDOWN!!!! UNBELIEVABLE at the end 😂
The Mile High Miracle at Denver 2013 divisional playoff game. No one gave the Ravens a chance in that game. Flacco to Jones then in Tucker we trust.
That DEFINITELY deserved to be on this video. Im not a fan of neither team but I’ll say that play is definitely one for the ages.
That's not a game winner though
Its crazy that I havent seen a good chunk of these before, normally i watch the same old types of videos like these to see the same old clips, but this is refreshing! Thanks!
As a dolphins fan I always love that last play
Oh yea... so glad it was against the Pats! Hopefully that one stays #1 forever!
The run by Vince Young was crazy. He was just a man among boys on n that game winning touchdown run
49ers fan here, man we had some heartbreakers on here 😓 I’m also surprised the Catch II with Owens and Young didn’t make it
The Catch I shouldn't have been on here. Yes, it was a game winner, but if it had to be on here it should have been the first one. There is absolutely nothing remarkable or impossible about it. It's a routine pitch and catch.
The Favre to Freeman “he did WHAT” play is still #1 for me. Wish the clip here would have shown the head ref laughing in disbelief once Freeman scored
4:08 the ref got in the way of the receiver! Why did this count? Interference, no?
Refs are attached to the field of play, so it wouldn't be interference. Seen countless running backs bash into them and receivers use them as screens to get open. Just part of the game.
The Tennessee kick return against buffalo was so clearly a forward pass
14:56 still gives me goosebumps to this very day. Absolutely insane
That Brandon Marshall TD was…insane, the throw was chefs kiss but the RAC?! Sheesh
The entire 4th quarter and OT of Seahawks/Packers 2014 NFCCG
Yep, one of the greatest quarters of football ever
Ty so much for this compilation of these “Un-Freaking-Believable-Finishes” I remembered a lot of them & great to see the “old school” teams that I watched growing up. Also, saw many I do not remember. Emotional vid for me as well having played all major sports and knowing the “thrill of victory & the agony of defeat..”
Haven’t watched it yet , but if the Miami miracle isn’t at the beginning ima be pissed 😂😂 #gopats
Literally the last one, only because it's Miami were talking about.
Still have no idea why tf gronk was on the field
3:30 this winning play may have determined the Super Bowl winner that year. The TD gave the '91 Falcons a season sweep of the 49ers, which ultimately put the Falcons in the playoffs and kept the 49ers out. Despite missing the playoffs, the 49ers ended the season on a 6-game winning streak and looked scary good doing so. Had they gotten in, they would've been a handful for anyone, including the Redskins. In a parallel universe, those two teams clashed in an epic playoff game.
If you made a "most improbable touchdowns" of all time that Patrick Peterson has to be in there
Man, I love Football. _Anything_ can happen!
16:06 is exactly how I would assume a kicker would react to scoring a game winning touchdown
This is the 3rd time I have seen you in a comment section in the last 2 days. First it was on DougDoug’s Rosa birthday video, then Not The Experts NCAA Baseball series, and now on a football highlights video. This is getting ridiculous at this point lol.
The funny thing is that that kicker was high when he scored that td and was released a few weeks later

@@12packersfan maybe yall are meant to be?
I love the back-to-back Ravens plays with the Will Hill fg block TD and Tucker 66 yard fg.
One of the best videos of all time. Thank you 🙏🏼
Minnesota ruining New Orleans & the entire state of Louisiana's dreams timestamps:
8:52 / 8:53
13:07
They hurt each other a lot honestly. Minnesota fans still aren't over 09
The play where the official knocks Tim Brown off his route is a bit suspect!?!
Early in the video I saw my Falcons win an epic game winner. Then, them losing a rage inducing game winner. (Incoming 28-3 replies btw)
No Luck picking up the fumble and diving in after being down like 3 or 4 scores in the 4th? Ish was crazy 😳
After the Minneapolis Miracle my dad posted on Facebook “Who dat, dat Stefon Diggs. GO TERPS!!!” We’re diehard Maryland fans if you can’t tell. Our Saints friends got very much royally pissed off.
Chad Marylander
Love that the Falcons had 3 straight iconic game winners. Gotta love it
10:08 who would’ve thought after this that we wouldn’t win another game against the chiefs for at least 7 years 😞
This year you guys will beat them... I believe
Shows what a difference commentary makes
I still stand by the bills v titans kickoff toward the end included a forward pass by the Titans to win it. Just look at the lines. He clearly threw the ball forward.
Paul Krause’s across the body pass was just filthy. Man could do it all
That was exciting the whole time. Nice throw, catches, and runs. The crowd reaction is the best. Got a new subscriber. Was fun to watch. Great video
Notice how six (6) of these were the Eagles, either winning or losing. Never a dull moment with the Eagles.
Two overtimes against the Bengals, I beg to differ. And the second one in particular, as the Eagles false started themselves out of field goal range. And chose not to attempt a Hail Mary.
7:43 is that the Holy Roller?
Yes it is.
2:16 "touchdown touchdown"
Absolutely tremendous commentary
Must See!!!🙄😂
😂 sounded like he was calling a pre season game
With the exception of Brett choke artist Favre in 2009 , Minnesota OWNED NAWLINS in the playoffs. ..
The saints beat the 2009 cardinals they has tougher road than cowboys
