I loved that she consistently shared her perspective. Even when they tried to fill in or offer up what they thought she was trying to say, she graciously said, "No, what I mean is..." Man, that's a person who knows herself & is in tune with her creator!
yep many of us on the spectrum are like that and get labeled argumentative...go back and look at the Keith Lee interview. They did the same and he stood on his words and further explained his position.
She also been in the industry too long to play the games

Yes, us with autism are hyper self aware and very literal. We mean exactly what we say. It comes off as we know it all, rude & argumentative a lot of the times. We are genuinely being sincere.

As a black woman with autism that just figured it out last year. A lot of people don’t believe I have delayed processing because I appear “normal”. Black people don’t get diagnosed. The level of girls/women who are misdiagnosed or not diagnosed, at all, is unbelievable. Thank you for sharing!

I'm a 73 year old Black woman, and I am so excited to hear from this brilliant young woman. She's lovely and delightful. I had given up on today's so-called R&B music until I saw her on a Keke Palmer special or some show. My soul was touched when she sang 'Made for Me'! I wish her continued success and Godspeed.

As a person with Autism I can honestly say everything she said about being on the spectrum especially as a person whose high functioning, she is 100% on the money, even when Muni Long is looking around while she's talking that's another symptom of autism, and having autism isn't a bad thing, i mean there's pros & cons, but through my autism I learned to be a better writer & more observant to things, I see Muni Long blowing up big this summer as an R&B artist, Muni if your reading this, I write, I produce & I rap, if you wanna work together hit me up, I hope to work with you in the future
society has only the high support needs, non verbal type of autism in their mind when they think of us but forget about the Elon Musk's, Albert Einstein, Keith Lee, Kanye, & Jacob Colliers out there. We aren't all Sheldon Coopers and we aren't all drooling on ourselves.

I'm autistic with ADHD as well and I learned that I was at 34 (I'm 36 now) after my oldest daughter was diagnosed. It is great this is something that we are now talking about in the community. Muni is a wonderful artist and beautiful singer.

@mys3682 She has not been diagnosed. She said she thinks she is based on her friends. She needs to be diagnosed but her preference is for a holistic doctor to diagnose her.

We are so misunderstood and quickly thrown into a box. My Mother has a degree in Psychology and worked in Mental Health when I was growing up so I was never allowed to have a diagnosis and that made me have to figure my own way as a neurodivergent.
I was called the "weird Black kid" or the "white Black kid", the one who was too White for the Black kids and too Black for the White kids
I saw this amazing woman for the first time on the @terrellgrice show and knew I’d be seeing her more often. Just pure talent❤

This also makes me love her so much more. The fact that she is very careful about how she says things as not to disrespect people. My son is 25 and he is autistic and it isn't as hard now as it was when he was younger. But it is still a challenge and he has his moments. I love her so much as a person. She is so educated and the way she puts her ideas together is amazing. You don't see that too much with artist these days. I love that question Jess asked about her perfume line in her song. Her explanation of all fragrances being called "eau du parfum" is on point. That's all I wear. They smell amazing. Ok Muni. I see you. ❤❤❤❤❤
