Everyday of your life is learn as you go. lol. You both did a fantastic job on the cover. Love the color too. Luke has a one of a kind mind. Such a creator. He couldn't have done it without you Sarah. Great job. And Molly was on hand for every minute of it. Such a wonderful job.
I loved seeing Peppa with her two new boyfriends. She looked so content. You guys did a great job on your outdoor pavilion. Can’t wait see the outdoor kitchen take shape.
Yup, depth gauge 👍. Luke, your creativity and determination to carry your projects thru really are amazing. Makes me feel like a real dud in comparison 😄. My follow thru needs a boost 🥴. Sarah, this is the first time I can clearly see the wild characteristics in the piggies. Good idea to make a paint brush. I'd like to see how you do that. Take care guys and see you next time. 🍂🥰🌾♥️🌾🤗🍂
Hi Luke and Sarah, perfect Luke, the cover looked perfect to me. I'am so glad for you to finished the outdore entertainment. Sarah, I adore you, how you speak to the piggies and they listen to you. Wonderfull. Keep going you two. I love your videos. God bless. Greetings from Namibia 36:01 ❤❤😅.
You two are so clever❣ I tell ya, necessity is the mother of invention. I was a tiny bit worried when you decided to roller on the mixture onto to the tarp roofing then pull on the burlap and roller on more mixture. But when Sarah started throwing on little buckets of treatment onto the roof and then you quickly morphed a make-shift roofing ladle, i was aw yeah, now you can jam! Talk about grit and determination, you are steenkin' rich with both those traits amongst others. And you did your entire roof waterproofing in less than an Autumn's day's hours! You must feel very good about your accomplishment! Srsly, if you think how crushing it was to learn the logs had some decay to how you pivoted to pursue this tremendous save and roofing solution, i truly believe you were blessed angels surrounded you to help keep your strength and spirits up. Grand job, Luke and Sarah❣🥰 Thanks for including nearly all your animals, they all got cameos. Eddie cuddling with Peppa was too adorable 😍. More piggy suggling, please 😄
Such a mammoth effort, lovelies 😮 glass half full ppl. Turning this space into a valuable usable area...can't wait to see it all finished, with a kitchen and guests eating Luke's wonderful BBQ.. meals. Congratulations on a job well done
Totally Awesome Team work .. Perfect amount of PVA 👍 couple of gooops 👍.. I’ve rendered a few pools & always gives enough waterproofing.. high on luv currently going into our 3rd week on our little ranch.. sharing fruit & veggies with p/t neighbours already 😀 Thanks guys
Wow! What a painstaking job! You guys are so brave and hardworking. I admire your resilience and determination. It was THE definitive proof of love for your land and way of life. Many thanks for documenting it all. Cheers
You guys are a wonder. So creative and very practical. That's a great roof, which also looks terrific. You'll get so much use out of the kitchen. Job well done!💗👍😊🇨🇦
Luke, your creative solutions amaze me, as does your ability to push yourself to finish a job! I love that you now have an outdoor kitchen, shade, winter storage area to expand the amount of living space you and Sarah have. Well done both of you! I was surprised to see how much those kunikuni boys have grown! I'm glad Peppa is settling in well with them. And all the strimming that Luke did on your landscape is still evident. As is Sarah's gift with animals!
Job well done! you both worked on that roof through sweat and blood,. It looks fab!! May you weather great storms and celebrate many wonderful meals together!! Thank you for sharing your hard work. What a brilliant roof!!
Y'all sure are funny! Your cement slurry looks like the slop my Grandfather's pigs rolled around in! 😂😂😂😂 BUY really, I was hoping to see Luke on top of the roof getting all slimmed up by your slurry! LOL. I LOVED HOW YOU SHOWED MY TIMMY AT THE BEGINNING, WITH MOLLY!! CONGRATULATIONS on your new toy, oops tool!! LOL. You deserve it! I hope Y'all had super fun with your friends this week! ✝️🙏❤🇺🇸🇵🇹👣☘🍍🌻🌻🌻🤗😎
That is an exciting technique. For your place I may even like it better than the intended green roof. For easy structures it has so much potential... Combining your garden rebar arches and welded steel fencing, the sheet plastic and shadecloth substrate, and then burlap latex concrete watertight layer = buildable tiny protected spaces for homesteads and for urban gardens too.
Lucus you are so innovative and amazing.👍👍👍 The roof looks beautiful and I love the colour. Your idea I feel alot of people are going to try. I loved what you said about making a device to do something is a tool. I just love your videos you both inspire me. Thankyou for sharing your homestead journey.❤❤❤❤
I love the colour and look of the outside kitchen roof! What a mammoth job, Luke, but it will make all the difference👏👏👍 I hope there will be no problems when it rains🤞
That is a rod that fits in the handle you just put on and that is a depth gage for drilling you adjust the rod to how far from the wall you want to drill eg 2 inches so when you drill the hole you have put the depth charge to the depth you want and you know you have reach the depth when the wall meets the depth gage. The cover looks amazing well done. Will look forward to how it works out. Did not know you had this other channel Sarah, you should advertise it more it is lovely.
We salute you guys for getting your projects done ,being a chef and doing this once again we salute you for all your creativity. God's blessings to you all hallelujah glory to God in mighty ways in Jesus Christ name amen and amen 🙏 🙌 ❤️
You are correct in that the rod for the hammer drill is so you can set it to drill a series of holes the same depth. Congrats on getting the kitchen roof on.
They eat like pigs!! 😂 You never cease to amaze me with your innovation, indefatigable spirits, animal welfare, just sheer hard work, every single day.
You are doing incredible things on your farm. Where do you get the energy from, I sometimes get tired watching you and want to take a break while I'm on a break 😅😮 I love your ideas 💡
Great job guys 💪💪💪 at least you can enjoy your outdoor kitchen for a while 🎉 even if it is to store stuff... one of the boys pigs is getting big. I thought they were the same age? So... we will see what happened to Luke's shorts in the next episode 🤪
The boys are the same age but Eddie has been castrated so won't get as big. Oh and Luke's shorts have been power washed so no plant pots will come out from them 😁
Great teamwork, iniquity, and video. It's too bad that the sponsors send you and Sarah t-shirts with their logo to wear while you're use the tools. Hav3 a great week.
Hi..What a perfect place to put a large day bed..for those too hot nights when you dont want to sleep in the caravana . Sure you could still use a small camping stove ,to make your first cup of coffee 🛖💗🧡. Well done. Your creative drive overcsme the dissapointment in the wood. A sugestión for supporting the trunks is to encase them in a rock cage. Then take a holiday..and start the Dairy renovation/rebuild in the new year. ❤❤. In my humble opinión those hogs need to be on someones BBQ. Are the boys with peppa Kuni Kuni?🐖🐖..Blessings from Jamaica 🇯🇲🌈
Our cement mixer has a few holes in it.. it's not too bad when making concrete but with a cement slurry it would have been super messy... Otherwise probably a good idea 😉
You mayhave discovered why this not widely used. My nephew worked wth a roofing material that looked like he was spreading hot tar on a membrane. Your process looks less dangerous 😮
What a learning process…that’s ok….i took a commission once to design an outfit for someone..their fabric….tired….i put buttonhole in the bottom pantleg of one cuff…ya…hmmmm
Standing on a ladder all day is very painful at the end of the day when you have to come down off the ladder I feel you when you were walking down the ladder I used to do it for 8 hours a day working on the roofs of rental RVS because the owner was too cheap to buy scaffolding he would have saved himself a lot of money on labor but he was one of those old guys that didn't mind putting money out on labor and not on tools
Years ago when I was young while not young an adult I quit smoking so every month I would get a makita tool thinking that they were very good tools so I had a lot of Makita tools wow disappointed in Makita ours are blue and every one of them broke down in some way the only one I have left to date is my skill saw after that spending all that money because you know how expensive makita tools are I went back to buying cheaper tools they only last probably two or three years but they're a quarter of the price the old makitas were really good my boss had bought his makita tools when he was younger and he was 90 years old when he died and his tools was still working and they were a lot heavier than the New Makitis mikita tools nowadays remind me of the old Canadian tire tools you know buy them and throw them away when they break by another one so good luck I hope your guys Makita tools are a lot better than our makita tools
This hammerdrill is compatible with Makita tools... So far so good. My wired Makita drill however has been a real disappointment from day 1. I thought they were a decent brand too...I was wrong 😁

The sight of the pigs sitting and being fed off a spoon is amazing
That is a lot of work!! 💚💚💚
Yup, depth gauge 👍.
