Donnelly Flat - Tararua Ranges - Camping

Short walk to Donnelly Flat campsite to set up camp in the rain. My tent is a Kathmandu Mono.
Mt Holdsworth.
Tararua Forest Park.
New Zealand.
About 17 km from Masterton.
This track starts at the end of Mt Holdsworth Road and is an easy flat walk, with water and a toilet near by.

I'm pretty sure I have hammocked in that little clearing. I have camped at Donnelly Flat many times when I instructed with Mountain Safety.

Used to take my kids in there when they were little - bunch of dads and kids running around. Great fun!
