Every single song of theirs reminds me of kicking back in my mom's old Ford Falcon, running down some highway in California just singing with my mama in the car; just some good times you know? Laid back just feelin it, not worrying about anything. That's the real stuff right there.

I saw them inside the Oakland coliseum in 1980. The stage was filled with musicians. Michael McDonald was phenomenal. Pat Simmons was flying across the audience on a wire like a wild man. It was definitely right up there on my list of best concerts and I've been to a bunch. I don't know if anyone in the comments experienced Graham's "Day on the Green" outdoor concerts at Oakland where there would be 4 - 5 bands in a day like: Journey, Neil Young, etc. Great memories. Those were THE days! 💋👅💚💚🏟🔥🎹🎷🎻🎶 Real instruments....... pure talent. 😎😁

The Doobies are a American treasure with material worthy of that designation from before Michael joined them and certainly after he did as well. Top to bottom they are it.
I have seen The Doobie Brothers twice and both times there were Rockin' and Killin' it. I have met them as well. They were so humble, kind, and gracious with their time. They truly appreciate and love their fans. Michael McDonald oozes soul!! He's Legendary.
