You will know when it is right. You are thinking of Sherpa comfort. He loves his yard and so happy when he gets home to his yard. His eye look great. Take you time. Thank you for sharing. Love to you and Sherpa ❤❤❤❤. Say hello to sister Sarah and all.
Hi Jamie, I hope you don't take this as an insult but please take care of yourself. You look really stressed and tired and you're health should be main priority. I'm sure I won't be alone here but get you and Sherpa sorted and upload when it suits you, but please don't think I'm insulting you just more concerned
What Sherpa wants is to be with you. And I think he is so happy at home in his garden. Short trips you take with him are good for now. Don't rush into anything.
@SherpasDay Look into Ford's. My Mustang is low to the ground and would really help with Shep joint issues. They have to make an equal car/van that would satisfy your needs. I feel sad for you. I've had many animals throughout my life, and currently have a kitten. Sincerely hope you find "the one".
You need sleep…a 2 week break from YT to regroup and decide what car is best for Sherpy. Making videos is stressful, especially while traveling and making an older dog comfy. After you rest and get a new set of wheels, you’ll be back better than ever. (Coming from a female that needs the energy of a 20 yr old to keep up with her 12 yr old psycho American Cocker Spaniel.🤣🐕❤️)
Sherpa wants to spend his time at home. Traveling is becoming rough for him, regardless of the vehicle. I really believe it is due to the fact that Sherpa wants to take industrial strength naps in the garden!
Finally! Somebody says something close to what I'm thinking. I really don't see the problem. Jamie and Sherpa both love that house so much .. for different reasons. Sherpa loves his garden .. Jamie has a gorgeous house that he can putter around in to his heart's content. He has a lot of changes he wants to make. Sherpa wants to stay home in his garden. As soon as they hit the road, Jamie can't wait to get back home. Big sighs of contentment from both when they do get home! Jamie says he listens to his gut. It seems to me his gut is saying: DON'T GO! Stay home! Where you both want to be! This is no doubt very rude of me. It's none of my business. And I have my own bias .. I'm a homebody from way back.
Jamie, don't stress too much about the car situation because it will just drive you crazy. Just go with your gut. Jamie, you are a very smart man and will make the right decision in the end for you and Sherpa. I am sorry that this adventure didn't go well for you. I hope your next adventure goes better for the two of you. Take care. Mych love. Have a good Monday. ❤️ ❤🫂🫂🐺🧔
Maybe step back from the car hunt and focus on the house things. Sometimes, when we stop looking, the right thing shows up. I know your concerned about Sherpa being uncomfortable but as long as you go places and do things together, he's happy.
Intuition is spot on. Sherpie loves his red autos. You will find your auto or a way to make the one you have Sherpa perfect. Enjoy your videos. Love Sherpa and his antics.
Hi Jamie, maybe you are starting to realise that road trips are not so comfortable for Sherpa now and you have to reflect on another format, maybe less distance/day trips or longer stays. Our dogs are now 12 and 14 and we can't travel as much with them now, they get stiff and tired. Trust your gut feeling and thanks for sharing. Hugs from France
Not sure if I have ever told you, but I went to England once for two weeks back in the early 90's (work). The manufacturing facility was in Basingstoke. We were fortunate that one of the engineers that went with us was very accommodating, in that he took us to see so many places during our down time (London, Stonehenge). It's funny, one of the pictures I had taken was of me, and a random person who had taken his Great Dane into a Payless shoe store😅 England was not someplace that I dreamed of going, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity. Once there, I was absolutely amazed by all of the history. America is such a young country compared to the rest of the world. My ultimate dream would be to visit where humans first appeared, Africa, and where there first civilizations appeared, which, according to Google, would be Messopotamia (Iraq), and Egypt.
@shalacarter6658 Yes! I've always wanted to go to Iran, and Iraq. I have always had a fascination with middle eastern countries. I've been told that the culture, and the people are very welcoming. I wish more people in America were like that. So many people here are not very interested in other cultures, despite the fact that all "Americans" are immigrants (except for Native American Indians, of course).
Really glad you did not get that Volvo. I don't think they are safe and that car would hurt you more than it would help. If I was you I would look into hatchbacks They are low enough that Sherpa would not need to hop much. Also, have a big boot and can lower the back seats flat if you need to. I would keep the back seats flat add his bed and fill the gaps with pillows. Take a look and see what you think. big hugs and lots of belly rubs and treats for the Sherpinator.
Sherpa is so glad to be home & in his own garden. 👍😊👏 Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 Always follow your gut instincts. I always do...it always serves my purpose. 👍😊 If it is right...you will know instantly. Too long of a drive & Sherpa wasn't comfortable. It speaks volumes.
When in the van or any other vehicle, do you think it might help Sherpa to lay down on a thick (thicker than normal) foam bed or cushion that provides a lot of cushioning to take pressure off this joints? It might protect him not just from the hard surface but also from feeling the movement of the vehicle on his body & joints.
I love Sherpa and I agree with you, Jamie. To get a puppy would be his worst nightmare! I’m looking forward to another grandchild in April but would not want it with me 24/7. Like, Sherpee, I’m too old for that. May he continue to enjoy his life (thanks to you) for many years to come. Bless you both. ❤
I! i just think wait until sherpa has has had enough of his injections and he has reached a place where he’s comfortable he may well decide he is comfortable in his mini and you may want to keep it for a while longer , but just see how sherpa is , , then decide if he improves then there is no reason to sell it , and you can keep it for another summer . be guided by sherpa after all its for sherpa if he is happy then watch him , i have no problem that if hes struggling that he will tell you , fingers crossed hes is a bright boy and he will speak up ! love liz xxxx
I agree go with your gut feeling if it's the right thing or not and always making sure Sherpa is comfy he is such A Super Sweet Fur Baby and he is so glad to be back home to his garden patrol's and relaxing there is no place like home love you so much Sherpa ❤❤❤❤❤❤ and have A happy Valentine's Day Sherpa and Jaime ❤❤❤
Sherpa is perfectly happy with what he has. Living with what you know is better than dealing with the unknown. He said in his ways, also. You’re going to have to allow him time to get back where he was with the Hydro.
You're Absolutely correct to trust your gut feelings about this. Sherpa's turned you into a home body and there's nothing wrong with that! Look how happy he is with just you and his garden. You couldn't ask for more than that could you? 😍💗😁
The expressions on Sherpa's face are so easy to read. While riding in the van for a test drive he seems to be thinking "What's this all about?". He wasn't unhappy.
Glad you didn't buy the car. Sherps' wants to stay home. You can get a lot done around the new house and have fun over the summer. The loss of Phil was a hard blow. I feel for you too. I lost my cat of 19 years and it still hurts. Still not long enough.
Not a car person, but here in the states when you buy a car at the dealership, I think that's where you go for coverage/service. Birmingham is far for that. Sherpa splayed out on the flat surface would likely feel the vibes of the road differently than on a seat. If you remove the front seat, where is Jodi sitting on play dates with Key or your daughter when joining on a trip? Maybe that option about service person retrofitting the back of the mini is worth a peek. Got you on the swirling thoughts & glad you trust your gut!
Hi Jamie hi Sherpa ❤❤❤❤,Jamie you said it yourself trust your gut feeling, and that's the answer!!!the right time will come for to choose another vehicle and that will be the right one!!,so for now relax and enjoy your beautiful home, dont get stressed about getting more videos out!!,we understand how much you put into making them,Sherpa is so happy at home and in his wonderful garden,so do what Sherpa does sit and relax enjoying each others company❤❤❤❤.
No worries, Jamie, don't go putting too much pressure on yourself over this. Buying a car is something that affects your life for years, so don't rush it. Just put it on the backburner for a while, something'll come to you! Bless.
You should get an old fashioned soccer mom mini van. (after I typed this comment I went to do a search and I guess you guys don't have the American style mini van. boo.)
If the hydro and the injections work you may not need a new car. There is nothing worse than being crippled with dept. It is something I have experienced in the past and life was miserable. You might be better off hiring a car if you are going a long distance on holiday. The other thing you can think about, start a go fund me. I would willingly put some money in for Sherpa's comfort as I am sure all his fans would too.
Seeing his eye looking back to normal is AWESOME! So glad to see he's doing great with his vision, now on to his joints! Soon you'll find the right vehicle to suit not only your needs but those of Sherpa as well. I know my joints will stop aching once spring has fully arrived, so perhaps they will for our favorite fluff boy as well. Fingers crossed! Edited to add: ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR GUT! Your gut instincts are never wrong! Trust me I know...
You are right to trust your gut, Jamie, and everything surrounding the road trip and the car that didn't seem quite right. When the right car comes along, you'll know, like with the van and Little Red, and Sherpa will let you know, too. Much love from the US.
Car looked awesome to bad it wasn't red 😂 Sherpa seeming comfy in it 🤔 always a smart thing to look around b4 buying 😁👍 just love that beautiful Sherpa 💯🐺💗💗💗💗🐾 so glad he got that awake house 🏡 and garden 💚🐦❤❤❤🐾
❤ You do what you can, and I'm sure Sherpa knows that too. It's awesome you listened to your guts and keep it up, you'll get there whatever happens. Love you both so much and it's really lovely to see how happy Sherpa is when he's back home.❤ Take care of you and give Sherpa kiss on the 4-head from me. 🥰🙏🌺❤️ Stay Strong my friend, you can do it! 💪😎👏💐
For me my dog doesn’t like car rides and he’s happiest at home so I’m more than content to stay at home and let him enjoy laying on my chair or my lap or whatever he wants
Sherps taking his meds, good stuff! Here in California, every driver slows down to see a tow truck loading a vehicle, always causes problems! Loved when Sherps entered the garden with his little bark and jumping, well done Jamie!
Stop searching and you will come across the right thing for you and sherpa. I think you know he is so happy in his house. His garden... and at his age, comfort is the keyword. Don't rush. Better go and do some nice walks and be in his garden than force hom into things he can't enjoy anymore. It's like that with older dogs. You have to ajust everything. With kiara I stayed at home for 5 years... and after all we come for sherpa and you to this channel. I love watching him patrolling in his garden and be happy. You have a home now... you own place... where there are also adventures. And the walks... I love to come along with you both to the moors... mostly you don't show it anymore. You could do playdates in his garden... let the world come to sherpa now... give him a kiss and a hug from me... ❤❤❤
Darling thumbnail! Happy Monday Sweet Boys. It is Hug Day. So please give Sherpa a big hug for me. And let's everyone give him one through the internet 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Sherpa is so glad to be home. Nothing is better than pooping at your own home. Relaxing in your own yard. Life is better at home. You'll find the right vehicle. It will be what you need when you need it.
Jamie trust your instincts, you will know the minute you see the right car,it will all fall into place, plus when you do find it,maybe shorter journeys for sherps, and that will ye will both get to enjoy coming home,i think its the same with us all,the older we get the less of afar journeys we want and appreciate our home more😊 plus you are rockinng the curls and short sides look jamie, thank yonu for having a good heart,i have 7 dogs and love them all too, precious pets xxx
We can all see how Sherpy loves his road trips but equally he loves it when he gets home & is able to catch up on his patrols & sleeping choices. Jamie also loves his road trips but also loves it when they get home. Seeing Sherpy so happy at being home makes you just as happy as well. How did Sherpy's new harness go, does it fit him & does he look cute in it??Lots of Love Annette❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾☺️☺️☺️🥰🥰🥰
Looks like maybe it did not feel right for you both. Sherpa clearly loves his home, which is just beautiful, by the way. Having a place of comfort filled with love trumps all else. You have clearly done that for your gorgeous boy.
Sherpa is a very good and loving person with a fur coat. He was an angel laying there while Jamie test drove the car. When they got home he was so excited and the puppy came out when he got in his garden ❤Love you Sherpa ❤️🐾 Jamie you will find the perfect car be patient it will come you will know when you find the right one. You will feel it in your heart and you will feel it for Sherpa ❤❤❤
Just like when you were looking for a house, when you see the right car, you'll know it. I'm also hoping the full body harness, where you're able to support his back legs, will make a really big improvement in his and your mobility issues. Love to Sherpie and you❤
I'm happy .. Sherpa's eye .. looks better! Hopefully .. it will stay that way. And .. be back to normal again .. always. I wish the same .. for his back legs. 🤞 🍀 🐕
You're right to trust your gut instinct. Sherps was so happy to be home in his lovely garden, he loves his trips but also loves coming home. Love you so much beautiful boy 💙💙🐾🐾
You are right if it doesn’t feel right don’t do it you have been making the right choices for awhile now Jamie you are doing well mate keep doing it your way! 🙂
You’re doing so well choosing for you and for Sherpa. Your gut may be right on. In America, Volvo’s are certainly nice, safe cars, but we’ve heard they’re expensive to repair and in repair shop often.
Bouncy happy boy back home to his garden. Both of you really, there is no place like home.❤💙💙
Yea we clearly love it so much 😊
Yes, Dorothy "... there is no place like home"😅
Take your time. You will know when it's right. If your gut says no. Always go with your gut. It will come when it's time. 🙂🐾💗🙃
Definitely agree 😊
You will know when it is right. You are thinking of Sherpa comfort. He loves his yard and so happy when he gets home to his yard. His eye look great. Take you time. Thank you for sharing. Love to you and Sherpa ❤❤❤❤. Say hello to sister Sarah and all.
Aw I'll say hello 😊
Sherpa was so happy to get home. Such a good boy.
Sherpa was so happy to be home. He certainly loves his garden. You did good with your lovely home Jamie.
Yea we both were 😊
Sherpa shows his excitement at being home. He really loves it..
Jamie you arent waisting time you adore sherpa and its all about sherpa he needs to be comfory and hes the number one boy.
Aw thankyou 😊
I agree
There really is noplace like home. I'm so glad that you and Sherpa have a home like that to come back to.
Jamie always trust your gut…it will happen if it is supposed to. Love you Jamie and Sherpa 🤗🤗
Totally agree 😊
Totally agree those times I ignored my gut feeling things have turned out disastrously

Sherpa has such a lovely life in his new house and garden. Perfect life, for a perfect boy. 😍😍😍😍😍❤❤
Jamie, don't stress too much about the car situation because it will just drive you crazy. Just go with your gut. When a person doesn’t have a tremendous amount of disposable income, financial decisions become more difficult
💜💜💜You will know it when you see it!
Jaime-you know when you know! Glad that you ALWAYS consider your mate in these decisions…Well Done! All the Best to you both!👏
Maybe step back from the car hunt and focus on the house things. Sometimes, when we stop looking, the right thing shows up. I know your concerned about Sherpa being uncomfortable but as long as you go places and do things together, he's happy.
When it's Right, you'll know it right away. There's No Place Like Home!! 🥰🤗🥰
Ps do you still have the van ramp to help. Sherpa up? Or is he like my dogs and won't use it. Not even for treats! Hehe
Why didn't look at trading in van and mini so not in more death for volvo
Intuition is spot on. Sherpie loves his red autos. You will find your auto or a way to make the one you have Sherpa perfect.
Enjoy your videos. Love Sherpa and his antics.
Like the other cars and house, they are a major purchase. You need to find the right one for you and Sherpa.
Hi Jamie, maybe you are starting to realise that road trips are not so comfortable for Sherpa now and you have to reflect on another format, maybe less distance/day trips or longer stays. I love watching Sherpa come home. He is so happy.
It's funny, one of the pictures I had taken was of me, and a random person who had taken his Great Dane into a Payless shoe store😅
England was not someplace that I dreamed of going, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity.
I am an Assyrian and vote for you to go learn more about us in Iraq and Iran.
@shalacarter6658 Yes! I've always wanted to go to Iran, and Iraq.
I have always had a fascination with middle eastern countries.
I've been told that the culture, and the people are very welcoming.
I wish more people in America were like that. So many people here are not very interested in other cultures, despite the fact that all "Americans" are immigrants (except for Native American Indians, of course).
buy it..and wrap it red
I have also bought a car that fit my doggies. My salesman was are you serious lady? Lol didn't buy from him. 😂
Sherpa sure loves his garden and being home🥰🥰😘😘😍😍❤️❤️💙💙
Electric car on fire with their batteries?
Whatever you do it decide were with you both Jamie xx
You could put a cot mattress in the back of your van to make Sherpa more comfortable and then you won’t need another vehicle 😊
Just take as long as you need. Sherpa is important, not youtube.😊
why not a Berlingo thats been adapted for wheelchair access at the back in sense it has a built in ramp so sherpa can literally walk straight in ?
Really glad you did not get that Volvo. I don't think they are safe and that car would hurt you more than it would help. If I was you I would look into hatchbacks They are low enough that Sherpa would not need to hop much. Also, have a big boot and can lower the back seats flat if you need to. I would keep the back seats flat add his bed and fill the gaps with pillows. Take a look and see what you think.
big hugs and lots of belly rubs and treats for the Sherpinator.
Sherpa so happy to be back in his garden , as far as a vehicle for Sherpa and you, I'm confident you'll find the right one.
Maybe an odd thing to suggest but have you considered looking at a WAV. ( Wheelchair accessable vehicle )As they have ramps in the back ect ect.
I always love to see Sherpa enjoying his garden!😂 Your garden.🐺🥰
i dont often comment but you will know when the right vehicle comes along you always have put the beautiful sherpa first and always will
When in the van or any other vehicle, do you think it might help Sherpa to lay down on a thick (thicker than normal) foam bed or cushion that provides a lot of cushioning to take pressure off this joints? It might protect him not just from the hard surface but also from feeling the movement of the vehicle on his body & joints.
I love Sherpa and I agree with you, Jamie. To get a puppy would be his worst nightmare! I’m looking forward to another grandchild in April but would not want it with me 24/7. yes true the gut is all ways right it has to be just right for both of you guys or it wouldn't be fun and relaxing.
Your dream car will come when the time is right, loved sherpa's reaction when he was home .
Don't rush into it. I stand behind your decision. You are doing great! Champion!
Sherpa is perfectly happy with what he has. Living with what you know is better than dealing with the unknown. He said in his ways, also. You’re going to have to allow him time to get back where he was with the Hydro.

Jamie you and sheep's could of come to visit us in Birmingham
Why can't you take the front seat out of the mini? I thought of that before!
Seeing his eye looking back to normal is AWESOME! So glad to see he's doing great with his vision, now on to his joints! All you really need is to enjoy the rest of his time with him in his amazing garden! That makes him the happiest.🤗
Life brings new seasons. Perhaps you and Sherpa are simply shifting into a new one❤️
❤
You do what you can, and I'm sure Sherpa knows that too. It's awesome you listened to your guts and keep it up, you'll get there whatever happens.
Love you both so much and it's really lovely to see how happy Sherpa is when he's back home.❤
Take care of you and give Sherpa kiss on the 4-head from me. 🥰🙏🌺❤️
Stay Strong my friend, you can do it! 💪😎👏💐
It wasn't the same any longer because you have a GREAT HOME ❤❤❤❤❤
For me my dog doesn’t like car rides and he’s happiest at home so I’m more than content to stay at home and let him enjoy laying on my chair or my lap or whatever he wants

You REALLY did buy the perfect house! ❤
Darling thumbnail! Happy Monday Sweet Boys. It is Hug Day. So please give Sherpa a big hug for me. And let's everyone give him one through the internet 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Happy Monday Lori 😊
I AGREE 🤗 💕💕🐾🐾💕💕
Hugs to my favorite big dog and Jaime! 🤗 🤗
Yes! Cyber hugs! And I kiss him on the nosie on the screen. :)
SHERPA SEEMED TO SAY: "My home" as soon as he went through his gate to the garden!
Best advice I ever got was my mother saying "If in doubt DON'T"! I think that's what your gut is saying to you
Hrs so precious, acting younger than he is. I love it
While it's nice to travel, it's good to be home. ❤
Sherpa is so glad to be home. Nothing is better than pooping at your own home. Relaxing in your own yard. Life is better at home. You'll find the right vehicle. It will be what you need when you need it.
Stick with the mini! Sherpa loves it!
Thanks for your honesty about your confusion about the car and not enjoying the trip. Refreshing. You’ll figure it all out, no doubt.
Nice of them to let you take Sherpa with you for the test drive though.
Deep breath, buddy. You will find it.
No matter where I go I love coming home.
You're right to trust your gut instinct.
Sherps was so happy to be home in his lovely garden, he loves his trips but also loves coming home.
Love you so much beautiful boy 💙💙🐾🐾
Always trust your gut feelings.. could have been the new moon? Or, you are changing. And ..there's no place like home... ❤❤❤
Hahaha, the "sneeze-bark" when you got home again, he's so cute!
Always follow your gut instincts!! You will find the perfect vehicle soon. ❤
There's no place like home, and always trust your gut. If home and your gut have proven themselves, and yours have, stand by them. Cheers, boys! 💖
