Hi if I have 80 SQL Server running multiple version. Can I create a single device collection and an update group with all the patches and deploy them to the group? for example, will server A running SQL server 2016 try to install SQL Server 2019?

you can make the sQL updates available to SQL Cluster, but there are additional steps to take to patch that cluster.

yes, you would need to coordinate with the other SQL instance to ensure that those apps can support SQL patch as well

kady Kay yes you can; you can create a SQL SUG to include all require SQL update and deploy to collection.
kady Kay to your second question if you want to upgrade SQL 2016 to 2019 you need to push sql application, otherwise only patches apply.
