Police Arrest Alleged Mastermind Of 2022 Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack

Ibrahim Abdullahi, the alleged mastermind of the 2022 Abuja-Kaduna train attack, has reportedly been taken into custody by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
The anti-kidnapping squad of the Kaduna State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) arrested Abdullahi, also known as Mande, on January 12, according to Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
According to a military spokesman, Abdullahi acknowledged leading a kidnapping ring that terrorized the Kaduna-Abuja route.
On March 28, 2022, gunmen attacked a train traveling from Kaduna to Abuja, killing numerous people on board. In addition to 61 people being kidnapped during the raid, several more people were injured.
