Do all new m10s have long hand guards?

No both handguards are sill available

Oh i have questions about this rifle! I purchased 1 second hand works ok but had similar problems as others have reported ....mostly failure to eject a few times it is a "Northglenn" model which i understand "should" be the improved version ....i would like to speak to the builder/techy ppl @m+m but the phone goes to voucemail when i call

There is no such thing as a “Northglenn model” that is the city that the rifles are manufactured in. Gun manufacturers in the US need to list the location the firearm is made.
Currently at this moment there are only two models of the M10X
The M10X elite which was discontinued in 2017 and the M10X-Z which came out in 2017 and has been in production ever sense.
Cosmetically the Z Has different versions like the colors and different hand guard lengths but they are all the M10X specifically the M10X-Z
Reach out to them they will help service your rifle they offer a lifetime warranty. Maybe shoot them an email if their phones are having an issue. I’ve never heard of them not helping someone so just shoot them a message you’ll be good!
