@ft2judy ... each morning I select a few things that need to be done, end up doing a lot more by the end of the day. Riding around on my Unit (golf cart) ... looking over what has been accomplished just makes me fell good. Glad you enjoy the videos....... Donald
oooh, now I want a front end loader!! Maybe I should call Stevens Tractor Company! Maybe I should stay married instead ;) I'll spring that one on her next year. Keep up the great videos. - Mark
When I get my vids up and running, I hope they're as laid back as yours. Wishful thinking though seeing as I'm from New York and all. This is one of my fav vids brother!
hello sir, glad to see you up and perculatin. i haven't posted anything on my garden cause i've had a ton of other stuff keep pullin me away. i know excuses excuses....lol. man i sure hope them oil spills stay away from them crawfish. be safe, and thanks for everything
reviewing again today, and watching the flat tire changing I'm thinking - "Now thats real life", common for us all. Thanks for sharing all your videos you share. I sure enjoy.
Hey Donald alway enjoy seeing your videos and enjoy your sense of humor. How many cases of beverages do you think it will take before you get some shade? Nice front end loader sure makes work easier dont it. My garden is coming along good. need to get some pics up soon. Take care Robert
hahahah Donald you had me chuckling all over the place. Your new trees will look wonderful....one day. That compost tea looks awesome. My plants just love theirs. Happy Days.
I heard you talking about armadillo digging up your new tree, up here in tn. we got them they seem to be digging up fire ant hills i dont know what else they do but that is a good thing.
Hey Donald!!! I've been watching your videos for quite some time now but this is my first comment, simply said, you're video's have become one of my favorite things to watch! You make gardening fun and you're sharing your knowledge and experiences with all of us....and you incorporate it all with your wonderful sense of humor! Great work my friend!!! BTW, I think I could hear that ol' three legged tom cat singing in the background, sounded like "Gimme Three Steps!" ;)
@Rdrake1413 ... hey Robert, just got the FEL a few weeks ago and I use it just about every day. I'm on my 2nd case now about to start on #3. Send pics of your garden when you get a chance...... Donald
What a sheer delight to watch you working and sharing your knowledge and wisdom. My Dad passed on 25 years ago and I sure do miss him. You remind me of him a lot. Keep up the good work sir and God less you and yours. I found you through Bobby over at MHPGARDENER, thanks Bobby.
Hi Donald, how can we make he compost tea? That's a huge barrel.. what are you using to areate it/make the bubbles? How long do you leave it sit? Thanks! I hope you'll shoot me an email if you find the time. Not sure if I'll find this vid again with all your videos. Thanks for sharing so much with us.
dang donald , did you get so tired of the news that you jerked your satellite dish out of the ground :) dont make no voodoo doll of me and stick it with needles . lol
@evcrawfish ... I believe this will effect the marsh even worst than the erosion has. Score another one for the oil companies destroying Louisiana....... Donald
Donald I planted onion seeds like you showed in your vid and they are doing horrible!! What did I do wrong. They grew, I trimmed, they grew and I trimmed again. they don't seem to be getting any thicker, just longer and droopier.
@mailman4662 ... Hey Cris, when I do need to water it's mostly done by hauling it on the golf cart. Okra and peas are only watered at planting time. The rest of the stuff is planted closer to the water hose so that's not a problem. There were really no long dry spells this year so the garden did pretty good........ Donald
@Allen2045 ... I'm not too crazy about lots of stuff on TV either. I watch more news than anything else these days. The basic things in life are a lot more enjoyable to me. Family, friends, rocking on the front porch, petting the dogs, gardening, drinking a cool one now and then, etc. More people should try it, they'd be a lot better off..........Donald
Interesting. I learned something new again. It's weird for me because all traktors in Australia(mostly) and in Norway by the way have tyres filled with water to lower the centre of gravity, make them more stable and soft riding as well as help with punctures. It's kinda weird seeing a traktor tyre with no water in it. I thought they all did. Thanks Donald :-)
lol My dog does the same thing. She's a camera hog. You would think she knows what it is. Every time I put the camera down she goes stand in front of it.
I see that you put plenty of thought into what you need and I want to do some gardening the easy way you do it. I wish that I had gotten the bucket on the tractor I got, but didn't. They sold me the package deal with the trailer, tractor, and box blade. I later purchased the landscaping rake, middle buster, tiller, and now the plow I am waiting for the ABF people to deliver to me. Next will be the cultivator which I want to keep the grass down. Thanks for your videos and I learn something new with each one I view. I do need to get the air tools to making taking off and putting tires on my tractor.
That is great and I wish that I had one, but got a new tiller, and landscaping rake instead. I just received a turning plow from the internet and found that it wasn't what I expected and is looking to get one bolt which looked like it was spot welded into the hole on the plow. That is the Chinese for you. I get upset since finding American made products are almost impossible to find.
We don't make much in the USA at this point some bad government deals. The best thing about the front loader is if you get stuck in the mud you can push yourself backwards with it and forwards also if need be. I try not to do much without it installed. But I have t in use constantly.
Cant tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Ive yet to see them all because I keep coming back to ones Ive seen to see them again. Lots of good ideas, and I thank you for it all, gardening, tools, tractors, and other equipment. Thanks
@justkarmatoo ... living out in the country you can never sit down and say, "I have nothing to do". Keep things simple, stick to the basics and everything will work out....... Donald
about the airbubbles, you shoulda said,'its from the mixture of panther piss and turtle farts'! And,by the way. If you are in real life, as laid back as you are in your videos, I'd work 4 u the rest of my useful life for minimum wage, just to learn your secrets and wisdom, and not be looking over my shoulder when i find a small problem.URATreat.
@ft2judy ... each morning I select a few things that need to be done, end up doing a lot more by the end of the day. Riding around on my Unit (golf cart) ... looking over what has been accomplished just makes me fell good. Glad you enjoy the videos....... Donald
