    Believe me, there's a ton of GM's who would give their right or left gonad, to have Owen Power on their team. You pair Power, with a tough SOB on the other side and you'll have a solid 1st D pair. You just can't have all puck moving defensemen. How does Adams not get this?

      Time to start shopping him then, most fans are sick of watching Power screen his own goalie.

      Really ? who would want owen no power @ 8.35 mil for 5 years ? when he can't do anything now ?

    • @wyo62
      @wyo62 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It took Chara 5 or 6 years to start looking good, id give Owen a little time, but I would have had a big tough veteran D man on this team years ago, it is such an obvious need. Dahlins best early year was when he had Bogo protecting him.

    Your graphics are fantastic eh? 🇨🇦 I don’t believe everything you see is spot on, but you hit the mark on many things. I don’t agree on coach Q they can do better with a younger coach.
    I’d like to see Peca withJay McKee for starters behind the Sabres bench, bring back the power !

    that west coast swing was a smokescreen.. they got lucky against all those teams.

    Notice Utah's goals were up high. We keep just shooting the puck at the goalie (Thompson).

    I heard a commentor say a wise thing. Here is what he said:
    "Alex Tuch is a good player, but on a very good team he would be on the third line. If a player like Tuch is on your first line, your team is not very good."
    I love Tuch, but agree with the above statement.

      Tuch is a 50 to 60-point guy max.

    How long does it take to realize that Cozens is not a good centre? He is a Winger.
    He doesn’t possess the subtle puck handling skills or the panic threshold required for that position.

    I don't think a new GM will suddenly make Buffalo a desirable destination for new players. Assistant coaches Matt Eliis and Marty Wilford need to be fired. I think Mike Bales is the goalie coach and goal keeping is not the problem so he can stay. Let Lindy bring in his old buddies, James Patrick and Mike Ramsey - give the updated staff 20 games to right the ship and if that doesn't work then look for a major trade.

    • @Sabres1970
      @Sabres1970 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agreed. Ruff needs some legitimate asst coaches on his staff.

  • @ImmersiveReactions

    I think your right about Lindy, he needs to stick around no matter what. That was the original curse. The entire tear down was such a terrible idea. We all know it now. I didn't accomplish anything just building out with trades wouldn't have done better. But when Terry comes out swinging his meat around saying "the reason for the sabres existance is to win a stanley cup". He can't not do what he did after saying that.

    This year is disappointing, I really like the team, the speed, the more aggressive play, the problem is too many young guys who are not scoring and lack of team defense in own zone

    Too early to break up this young Core. Agreed changes need to be made. .we could get a player on a 2-3 year contract (use the cap) trade a 'soft' player, mid tier draft pick ect...No big shakeups
    Our Goaltending has been consistently solid and doing there jobs. Inconsistency may/will happen from time to time,

    Pegula hiring 9 inexperienced GM's and coaches (except for Ruff) shows he is not serious in bringing the cup to Buffalo.

    Should we call 911 or the front desk of the Buffalo Police to report Ryan McLeod as a missing person?

    The Panthers went from a President’s trophy team to hiring Maurice and falling to 8th place while they learned a proper defensive system that could win them a cup. Another development year under Lindy Ruff learning how to play proper two way hockey isn’t the worst thing in the world.

    • @jasoncrandall73
      @jasoncrandall73 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sabres have not been expected to play a proper 2 way game until Ruff arrived. You are seeing the team going through the proper growing pains. The Granato years was a waste of almost 2 seasons of proper development.

    • @mortaljorma69
      @mortaljorma69 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It doesn't matter how many years they are "learning to play proper two way hockey" before they are willing to hit and stop giving up freebies. Also, defending front of goalie(rebound control) is horrendous. They have too many juniors in their roster and they are too soft. Teams loves to play them and for a good reason.

    • @jasoncrandall73
      @jasoncrandall73 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @mortaljorma69
      Granato employed a very simple transition offense that could be easily defended if teams were willing to be patient taking away the center of the ice. Even players like Tage cheated up the ice not wanting to play defense. Granato did not preach physicality. GMKA did not add enough physicality under Granato. Ruff has come in wanting the Sabres to play a physical 2 way game. We have seen the Sabres play it in stretches already. The team now needs to do it consistently. A veteran player familiar with Ruff needs to be added to help with getting consistent 2 way play from the roster.

    • @jasoncrandall73
      @jasoncrandall73 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @mortaljorma69
      Many players are struggling offensively so far this season. I still believe a trade for a veteran forward (or 2) who have played under Ruff can help this team out offensively & in executing Ruff's system.

    • @jasoncrandall73
      @jasoncrandall73 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @mortaljorma69
      Adding another veteran forward (or 2) who played under Ruff (in Dallas or NJ) can also lead to new lines that can have more chemistry.

    Adams needs to make 2 moves now...fire D coach Marty Wilford his D system is terrible and hire Luke Richardson as he can teach Owen Power to play D . Secondly Adams needs to trade for a veteran stay at home D partner. Sadly Adams wont do either, he will stand pat as this will cost the Sabres a playoff spot this April !

    • @AAA-o4g

    "Stalemate" GMKA . I liked his tenure up until this point. I believed in his strategy and his pressers. I liked our off season additions. But he effen up when he didn't replace skinner goals and get owen a real parnter.
