You don't need to view the ticket beforehand. For Google Wallet you need to wake up your phone and hold it to the reader. Phone does not need to be unlocked nor does the Google Wallet app need to be open. For Apple Wallet you can either tap your phone or watch to the reader without even needing the screen to be on.
So my 87 year old granddad (season ticket holder of 60 years) is now going to have to use a smart phone of which he has never used once in his life, brilliant and pointless.
Im in a very similar frantic nightmare of a state too!!! I have contacted the club & expressed my real worries and concerns as I cant find a wallet or understand all of the info! I used to have good IT skills but sadly when you don't use them you are soon out of touch with all of this jargon etc. I also said that Im sure Im not alone here. Supported our team/club since 1962 & as such, being forced to comply is a form of age discrimination? I dont have anyone to help me either. All of this to continue to support my club and team? Hardly any warning this was being introduced.

So what if u have more than 1 ticket on your phone say for a child and an adult?

Season ticket holders should get another option.

What's annoying is the club haven't even discussed it with fans at least an option would've been better phone or continue with card option.
