- This is how to apply your eyeshadow like a pro if you want a bronze eyeshadow look! This is an in depth eyeshadow tutorial where I will teach you how to use different textures together and how to blend. It's perfect for beginners or advanced makeup lovers!
In this makeup tutorial I'll show you how to prep the eye area, how to apply and blend cream eyeshadow, how to apply powder eyeshadow and how to apply gel eyeliner for a bronze smokey eye makeup look.

Nina, I am once again bowled over by your incredible talent. This look is stunning, but what I really appreciate about this video and look is that I think that I can adapt it to my particular needs. I've commented to you before - I'm probably one of your oldest viewers and have deep set, downturned, somewhat close set, mildly hooded eyes (still decent lid space). I love eyeliner but am struggling, partially due to close vision problems, but more so just because of aging and loose skin, which you so kindly addressed in this tutorial. But I am most of all thrilled with what you did with the eyeliner - I don't have to worry here about a pronounced wing. The look is gorgeous without it. You've achieved beautiful definition yet kept the look soft and tasteful. And using black gel and powder eyeshadow to boot! My coloring is different than yours, but it doesn't matter - you teach so well so that I can do what you did but tailoring the shades to my coloring. The use of the q-tips is fantastic - very clever! (FYI it seems that the Brits say "cotton bud") I know that my comments tend to be long, but I can't help myself :) I was really wowed by this. I will definitely re-watch - this has been inspirational and confidence boosting. Many thanks.

There are "influencers", not "certified makeup artists", such as yourself, where some may do very great jobs of instructing others that have most likely learnt from makeup artists. But others even though they may have 1M + Subscribers but are basically applying Makeup on themselves where the colors and techniques are so scary and wrong. But I always love your tutorials. Thank you for everything you teach us! BTW, I know you don't use a whole lot of blush but you look so stunning with a touch of blush to give you a healthy flush of color besides your tan or just Bronzer. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much, especially about the bit about how to blend eyeshadows ♥️ I’m just now recently really learning to experiment with eyeshadow looks cause I have naturally almond shaped eyes (not much eyelid room but we really can be extremely versatile with our looks). I used to use concealer & translucent setting powder for beautiful eye looks until I decided to do your “correct order of makeup” video & use a dark primer base & it’s been an absolute gamechanger in my makeup. First time ever I’ve been really happy with my results & felt I’ve built a perfect for me eye look based on my eye shape. Wayne Goss’ recent “winged eyeliner” & “small eyes” videos are also absolutely helpful. ♥️♥️ Nonetheless, thank you in advance! Paused to comment :)

I tried this look today using Colorpop shadows. It looks fantastic! I had never worn these shimmer shadows because I thought they wouldn't look good on my sixty year old eyes. But I love it. Each layer looks beautiful. Thanks Nina, for getting me out of wearing only matte shadows!
I just wish I had your young olive complexion in order to apply your shadow as you do. You do a super job! I’m 58 years old and I guess I should follow someone my age~ however I love your techniques!
I have downturned eyes and one thing I've found that helps is to not actually use eyeliner at all! I put on eyeshadow and mascara and it looks quite nice!

Can I just say the details of your vids are amazing. My cuz sent me a vid of another makeup artist and I saw the the vid and she was just putting her makeup and judging the make up itself. Just putting her opinion on how it looks. But she didn’t say anything about applying the makeup. I think some people confuse someone putting on their makeup and giving you opinions of what they like on their face and an actual technique demonstration on how to apply the makeup. I can care less seeing someone putting on their makeup. I want to learn how to do it. Obviously I did not subscribe. It was informative if you want to know what she thinks but that’s it. Nothing against the beautiful TH-cam artist. I just like keeping it more on a learning level. Which is why your the best 😊
