I just make it simple. I just look at who is a good match for my tank and who isnt. Then i imagine where they would go so i can position myself the best to fight tanks that are good for my tank and in a position that benefits my tank. Tds are also important to note so you dont get nuked with 640-1000 damage. Its really just that simple Edit: i think an important skill to help you read the layout is map knowledge. Sure you can know everything about the enemy but if you dont know how or where to push on the map or where tanks most likely will go then reading the layout of the tanks is hindered imo
11:30 that plan could fail REALLY easily if their T34 and T29 decided to do the smart thing and contest with the mediums. Which mean you are now severely outnumbered, and out gun.
So you're...OUT GUNNED, OUT MANNED, OUT NUMBERED OUT PLANNED WE GOTTA TAKE AN ALL OUTSTAND AYE YO IM GONNA NEED A RIGHT HAND MAN (im a theater kid that's a Hamilton reference dont worry I dont wanna talk about it)
there are clear HT and MT/LT lanes, and there are clear spots for TDs, that said, sometimes TDs have enough characteristics to either be at the front lines with the heavies (Think JpzE100 and mid-tier british TDs), while sometimes the TD's lean more towards Meds(Think Jackson, Hellcat, Charrioteer).
i loved coming back to old videos and compare them to the new one, because we see how much the channel got more and more excellent through years, keep up man , you made our days !
This is one of those things about Blitz that new players are completely oblivious to and vets can certainly benefit from also.. A much needed and well done video. Thanks!
Great video, but just one thing, can you also say what you’d do if you were the enemy team? That last match for example, it sounded like the enemy mediums would be clobbered, but what would you do if you were for example, the 1390?
Hey Brother, love the Blitz tactics on ststsketch. Hope you do more of that type of stuff. Would also like better players to make a call. Yes I have 40k battles in wot but in blitz I have only 8k battles. Sadly it seems NO one likes to make a call. Leaving team going different ways. Please tell Unicom players to stand up and make a call. Don't have to be rude or mean. Just be the leader you are. I for one always listen to call unless it's a stupid call. Thank you and God Bless you Droodle.
And....in the end they head the direction they're pointed in at spawn because "...that's why WG put me there..."`...but an actual quote from a player. Sadly a significant portion of the blitz population has no clue about strategy, no interest in taking strategic positions, no concept of damage for distance, peek-a-boom, or side scraping, and certainly no clue as to the strengths/weaknesses of their tank. They rush in with the intent of getting "mano-o-mano" with the reds in a full on brawl, no more or less. Worse, they're barely able to move and shoot because WG offered them a premium tier 6~10 tank despite the fact that they don't have 20 battles under their belt. I appreciate the post but I feel it's lost on most; even if they see it they're a long ways away from caring.
What’s funny is that I already do this I’m great at estimating an enemy’s position, so I can easily flank and pick them off M4190 lek is great for the job 👍
This is the one thing I rarely do out of pure laziness. And if I’m drinking forget it, I just try not to be alone anywhere on the map. Lol Good stuff though tips on how to become a better player are greatly appreciated. Now if we can somehow get all the new players to watch this video.. o7
Knowing the reloads of the enemy tank is a very great ability, you can decide wether shoot again or not, this is where knowledge about the game helps you in tough situations
I was watching this video while playing games, and I actually got the SAME maps in the SAME order as the video. Faust first, then new bay, and then yamato harbor. I was at a loss for words what are the chances?!!?
Lots of teammates don't even want to push an overwhelmed enemy... whenever I spot 4 or 5 enemies on one flank, the rest of my teammates don't even want to spearhead the other flank.
Great video!! Thanks. Ps. Maybe it’s time for a little rant about how fup is the auto-aim in non sniper mode. Countless times it’s locked on and suddenly you shoot ground or sky :///
The tactics are great... But you have to see players perfomance in the match too... Unless you are with team in tournament.. It would be really useful.
I'm a newbie at about 600 games rolling through the german Tank Destroyer line, currently at the t7 JPanther, and with only a few exceptions manage the highest damage in every game I play. Still, I find it hard to know where people are gonna push and don't feel confident enough to try to tell people where to go.
With over 50k battles played I can tell you that I know every player of the server you know which positions they are going to take, where every tank is going to be, and when you make a push which tanks could create a cross fire against you (usual camper noob locations). Also it’s very important to let people know when a medium or any other tank is on it’s own the need to rush him quickly, cause noobs think they have people behind, hesitating to much until they get f****d from behind.
How do you handle this: I'm a med player, on med side 75% of the time my other meds take and go away on half a push or when you're already engaged in combat, or you are 3v3 in lineup but one of you meds decides to go heavy, so you got one decision go 2v3 med side, or go heavy and the 1v3 dies( because they always keep going solo) Makes my blood burn, when stars align and you got a decent lineup, your own team tears it apart, losing one flank in second 1, then eventually geting flanked and losing the game for nothing but their stupid decision, this special affects me when playing tanks like the amx 30 prototype, since you're more a support tank and can't really hold by yourself by lack of armor and dpm (or you just get rushed) It's easier to handle on tanks like the t-54 for having some armor and dealing better with 1v1/1v2 (if they rush/ face to face combat)
D gmpdc I don’t know if it helps but personally when playing Med, like Leo 1, If I’m outnumbered I will either go heavy side, call heavies, or take up a TD bush and passive spot for my team. If same numbered then I will look at team comp, if enemy has many brawling meds I will stay more behind, and also watch for the rest of the enemy team in case they yolo the Med flank
I love it when both teams went in the opposite direction as a team and circle the map for 2 whole minutes, just to catch the enemies asses. So the slowest ones are fucked, because their teammates just dont want to turn
Two slow tanks are yelling for help because they've been caught from behind. Will the rest of the team turn around. Heck NO! I tried to explain it to one guy and all he would say is, "Flanking is a proven tactic".
I hate when people don’t read lineups and just go anywhere. I litteraly need to explain the team why, the effectivity of that around 30-45%. But when it works, it works good. I get 70% victories when the team actually listens.
It would have been useful to show the replays along with your plan to show how according to plan it went. Or to show how to adapt if the enemy does something unexpected. Then again, the point of the video was to show pre battle planning rather than during.
Great video as always but I have been stuck in 55-54% wr forever. I only play Russians and mediums especially. If you could tell me how I could Become a blue player I would be greatly grateful thank you❤️❤️❤️
I wish I can understand full of your words. You should think about your members of your chanel who is foring. For example me . I live in Istanbul and I like your videos even I can not understand you well. :))
NO WAY I GOT TO PLAYWITH YOU AND BE IN A VID? Me when droodles says Yamato 😐 When Droodles says Chrysler k. 😐 Me where I realise I played with droodles in my Chrysler k.🤨 Me when I see MMSCRAT 😮😯😲😁 SPAZZZZ 😎. Heck yea. But droodles we played on the other side of Yamato I'm sure
You just do that other youtuber didn't does. The other just reviewing tanks and not talk about strategy. Hope that 40% win rate players watch it, so they not keep ruining other players game.
But its all depend on team. If team died in the first minute. Chance to win might be hard. Also if me telling team which way to go and they ignore us. We might still lose the game Useless tips from me: if team dumb just follow them.
At around 7:50 my mike dies for some reason, ill be buying a new one cus it keeps doing that
Droodles Blitz it ain’t a Droodles video if there aren’t audio problems
mike?
Rip mike
not mike😔
Rip mike

Even tho this doesn’t benefit me directly, it benefits the community. U telling people how to read line-ups will indirectly benefit all the players
there are clear HT and MT/LT lanes, and there are clear spots for TDs, that said, sometimes TDs have enough characteristics to either be at the front lines with the heavies (Think JpzE100 and mid-tier british TDs), while sometimes the TD's lean more towards Meds(Think Jackson, Hellcat, Charrioteer).
Respect++ this man calculates the whole round in the 5 secs you can see all the tanks
i loved coming back to old videos and compare them to the new one, because we see how much the channel got more and more excellent through years, keep up man , you made our days !
Gotta say your videos are some of the most helpful and informative out fo WoT blitz you tubers I see
Rugor {DA BOSS} Nass true. I increased my winrate once I started reading lineups.
This is one of those things about Blitz that new players are completely oblivious to and vets can certainly benefit from also.. A much needed and well done video. Thanks!
Sometimes enemy does the opposite what we are thinking of. Nothing is certain.
Did we just get trolled? He clearly draws a big green weiner on yamato. Well played sir. Lol jk.
Good deal. Been telling y’all someone needed to do this.
Great video, but just one thing, can you also say what you’d do if you were the enemy team? That last match for example, it sounded like the enemy mediums would be clobbered, but what would you do if you were for example, the 1390?

Great vid! Super you did what is so obvious for skilled players but absolutely black magic for most :) Keep going!
Been waiting for this vid! Thanks bro
And....in the end they head the direction they're pointed in at spawn because "...that's why WG put me there..."`...but an actual quote from a player.

JN clouddragon9 true.
Lmao, imagine thinking WoT is about strategy. This video contains no such thing either. Its all random guessing.
great video, the trouble i always find is doing that in less than 10 secs and then one tank goes alone
I just like the fact that in the beginning of the vid I see the enemys that all have prem tanks
What do you think that tells you?
Thank you Droodles, I really learned a lot from your Videos
On a td, when should u support medium instead of heavies?
What’s funny is that I already do this
I’m great at estimating an enemy’s position, so I can easily flank and pick them off
M4190 lek is great for the job 👍

That'll be a great idea. We need to post this video on the community
Gr8 work. . Want more of these.. such vids really help me out ;-)
Knowing the reloads of the enemy tank is a very great ability, you can decide wether shoot again or not, this is where knowledge about the game helps you in tough situations
That doesnt give you any advantage. You can always shoot when the enemy hits.
Thanks for sharing bro, good job kudos to your channel. Stay safe guys.
Keep up the great vids 👍
I was watching this video while playing games, and I actually got the SAME maps in the SAME order as the video. Faust first, then new bay, and then yamato harbor. I was at a loss for words what are the chances?!!?
everyone gangsta till the same maps and same tanks show up in your game while watching this vid
Nice breakdown. Much appreciated.
Very important topic.
Lots of teammates don't even want to push an overwhelmed enemy... whenever I spot 4 or 5 enemies on one flank, the rest of my teammates don't even want to spearhead the other flank.
Tks for lesson👏
Droodles op

You like that mk1?
Can you do a video on the mauschen and maus?

@@Aurocia thanks, any bit of info works
This is something easiest learnt with experience
Yeah but some tips sure go along way
NIce video again. Next time you should show the gameplay that lines up with your strategy. 😀
Lol The isu on new bay (TacticalTicTac) is one of my friends
What intro music u use? Sounds sick
White stripes. Seven nation army
It was high school era music for me 😂
GREAT COMMENTARY. This site is now my goto WOTB site. Great work. I do like Tomie Tactics but most time he speaks too fast and hard to understand.
Yo droodles i fought you twice 2 days ago, im the Tiger 2 on some of your rating battles, same nane as here on TH-cam
(I was using ur tips btw)
Ty for the tips. Just a quick question. On your next video, Can you do exactly the same thing but playing as a Heavy?
I love it when both teams went in the opposite direction as a team and circle the map for 2 whole minutes, just to catch the enemies asses. So the slowest ones are fucked, because their teammates just dont want to turn
Two slow tanks are yelling for help because they've been caught from behind. Will the rest of the team turn around. Heck NO! I tried to explain it to one guy and all he would say is, "Flanking is a proven tactic".
Would have liked to have seen the battles played out after the explanation
Are you going to talk about the moon event
Joined your discord!
My team is positioned in a very good spot chxoskcndkeowk

Amazing
I usually also see their avatars because they could be pro and have a legendary avatar or a common
I do the same, sometimes its deceiving though
And then there are players with names like: "player1748493927279"
I hate when people don’t read lineups and just go anywhere. I litteraly need to explain the team why, the effectivity of that around 30-45%. But when it works, it works good. I get 70% victories when the team actually listens.
The only problem is when your team literally does not listen and sit in the back of the map the entire time and camp...
It would have been useful to show the replays along with your plan to show how according to plan it went. Or to show how to adapt if the enemy does something unexpected. Then again, the point of the video was to show pre battle planning rather than during.
Honestly, if you don’t know what you’re up against you’re likely going to lose
Me: Reads Fv215B 183 in the enemy lineup
Me in a E 100 : AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I know that XD BUT THANK U BECAUSE EVERYONE WILL KNOW NOW THATS GOOD THING SO NO ONE SPLIT. AND GO TO THE RIGHT WAY
T29 is pretty fast with the engine accel
Great video as always but I have been stuck in 55-54% wr forever. I only play Russians and mediums especially. If you could tell me how I could Become a blue player I would be greatly grateful thank you❤️❤️❤️
Your downside: If the higher tiered skilled carry has gone afk...
My team: Loss, noob team, report
I wish I can understand full of your words. You should think about your members of your chanel who is foring. For example me . I live in Istanbul and I like your videos even I can not understand you well. :))
On all maps...stick togheter and push....
I was in a battle with you I’m thsvob
NO WAY I GOT TO PLAYWITH YOU AND BE IN A VID?
Me when droodles says Yamato 😐
When Droodles says Chrysler k. 😐
Me where I realise I played with droodles in my Chrysler k.🤨
Me when I see MMSCRAT 😮😯😲😁 SPAZZZZ 😎. Heck yea. But droodles we played on the other side of Yamato I'm sure
I just guess the caliber then Armour then I'm done very simple
If you see a T22 medium platoon then give up
You just do that other youtuber didn't does. The other just reviewing tanks and not talk about strategy.
Hope that 40% win rate players watch it, so they not keep ruining other players game.
Arief Yuli yep. But most 40% people don’t watch wotblitz youtubers, as they’re 7 year olds. They watch Morgz or some cringe trash.
Most of 40% win rate players just dont know what to do with their tank and they didnt know that there is youtuber on wotb
I ask them frequently
I dont know is it useless or is it stupid but i keep telling 40% win rate players to watch the youtuber and learn something from them
But its all depend on team. If team died in the first minute. Chance to win might be hard.
Also if me telling team which way to go and they ignore us. We might still lose the game
Useless tips from me: if team dumb just follow them.
This video isn't about how to "read" the lineup. It's what to do if you can read the lineup.
Hi
Noice
I just dont keep anything sharp near me when i start playing. It prevents me cutting my wrists open 👻
Hey Droodles, there is zero hope for this game with the level players. It’s fucking horrible.
when’s the face reveal bro
ok, fourteen minutes and I'm ready for battle
jk lol
69th comment
Its all good. But its useless. Because players are just to bad. They only camp in one olace waiting to get shots or get killed. Its just how it is
The team with the most players with BR in their name will surely lose.
