You didnt show what your nails were like once you removed the foil? Is it like sns in the salon where you need a drill to remove it? Is this just another version of sns?
Hi! If you leave the foil on for long enough all of the previous colour will have dissolved (I would say a thinner version of what a salon might use) I have never needed a drill to get the remainder off if it doesn’t all dissolve I just use the nail file that comes in the pack and file each nail till smooth which happens quite quickly. Definitely no need for a drill and usually no need for the file either as it completely dissolves!
I have a question, between the dips do you have to brush off any excess of powder, put base again, and then re dip and basically repeat this 3 times? Thank you ❤❤❤
Can you do a whole hand at a time or is it better to do one finger at a time. Also my nails are quite weak does this make them hard like when you have gel nail polish.
@@CarlyEyckens so it anything like the drying time etc for regular nail polish? The reason I liked Gel was because under a light, it was instant and there was no time for me to put divots in the polish (am not known for my gentle touch LOL)
If you do a refill of your nails instead of taking them off they’ll last quite a while! I don’t use tips at the moment as my nails are long enough to not need the tips though 😊
Hi! They come in a couple of different sizes so you just pick the correct one for your nail otherwise I choose one slightly bigger and file them down on the sides to fit my nail!
I think the remover is a mixture with acetone in it! I did find it to be a little gentler on my skin/nails but after I finished the bottle I did move to acetone and it worked as well! I think it comes in the kit and it’s handy to have!
Hi Lexy! So glad you enjoyed the video and have ordered your own, you will not regret it!! Yes I put a base coat between each layer! Normally I dip my finger twice just to make sure it’s fully coated then I reapply the base coat and dip again for the next layer! ❤️
Do you mean to get the tips to stick?? I waited until the glue on the tip was a bit tacky and then put them on! They definitely took longer than 5 seconds to dry the tips!
Thanks for commenting! I really appreciate you reaching out! I didn’t have any trouble with getting them off with the remover I just found the longer you left it on with your fingers wrapped the easier it came off! It generally just dissolves the product off but it does take a bit of time, so I pop the remover on a cotton ball and then on to my finger tip, wrap it in foil and pop on a movie usually after about an hour they’re fully dissolved and if not I just give them a bit of a rub and then leave them a bit longer!
@@CarlyEyckens Do you need to file the shine off of the nails before putting on the cotton balls I have had salon done dip powder nails like forever, but when I take them off I end up scraping my nails to bits also do you need anything special if I put tips on to hide the line, thank you I soooooooooooo want to order this kit - thank you love the video
@@mary-anneburt6411 thanks for commenting!! No need to file the shine off before hand but it does speed up the removal process a bit as there is less to soak off! No need to do anything special to hide the tip line just make sure you do your first base coat half way down the nail cover the tip line & then do the colour across the entire nail! Sometimes I file the very edge of the tip line to make it a little flatter once it’s glued on properly! Definitely get this kit it is so handy and saves so much money!
So glad you enjoyed it! I was a bit suss too but I am so glad I ordered from them and I love their company! I have ordered a bunch of times now! I might do a follow up vid!!!

Hi, can i use any tips with them, since my nails are tiny/slim
Yeah I think so !
Thank you
How long do they last without chipping??
They lasted a good few weeks

Yep that’s exactly it !
Can you do a whole hand at a time or is it better to do one finger at a time. Also my nails are quite weak does this make them hard like when you have gel nail polish.
You can do a whole hand at a time if you work quickly!
It would be harder than gel polish so I would recommend it for you 😊
Have you keep using? After 2 years you have not gotten any reaction?
Not currently using it as I need more supplies! No reaction at all
is the remover basically just acetone?
Yeah just a little more gentle
Can you use the power directly on the nails, not the plastic nails? Thanks.
Yep! I use it straight on the nail most of the time!
Hi :) Do you need to file the tip to blend with the natural nail bed?
Hi Vanessa!
Nope no need to!
Does the liquids dry instantly when brushed on seeing as you don't need a light?
I wouldn’t say instantly but definitely pretty quickly!

I would say it’s about a minute or two max

Hi great video. How long did your tips last until you had to replace them?

Hi does the nail tips come with the kits as looking at them I can’t see the nail tips enclosed in the box online and it does not mention nail tips ?
I’m pretty sure when I purchased them separately but you can always message their insta or email them! They respond really quickly!
Hi!! What if the tips don’t fit your nails properly?

Is the remover acetone? 🤔I'm thinking of ordering a kit, just curious if I really need the remover

@@CarlyEyckens thank u 💕 I've not done anything to my nails for so long so I'm considering buying one of these kits
@@lisaanne3176 I definitely recommend it!! I love mine & I know the company is coming out with more colours soon too!
I believe press on nails are more convenient!, I need your review about which is better, press on nails or glamrdip?
Thanks for commenting!!
I have answered your other comment xxx
Great review! I just ordered mine, can’t wait to get it!
Question - do you put a BASE coat between each dip?

I got these for Christmas! How long does the base take to dry? The instructions say 5 seconds but I can’t get them to stick!

Love this review and absolutely adore this product 🙌😍
I totally agree!! How amazing is it 😍 the best thing to happen to my nails

@@CarlyEyckens is the "Removal" bottle pure acetone?
@@ARcamila100 hi! It’s not straight acetone! It’s a mixture so it’s a bit softer on your nails!
Your nails look amazing! That kit looks awesome! 🖤
Thanks so much ! It is so so easy to use as well! The perfect gift for someone who spends a ton on their nails they can do it themselves!!

Beautiful nails can you do one to show your toes as well. Thanks 🙏
Hi! I don’t think I could do my toes! I wouldn’t know how!
Looks good but very time consuming
It is a little bit but you get quicker the more you practice it !
No longer than the time it takes to drive to a shop and have your nails done.
