- In this digital era, she is a regional author and writes in her mothertongue bengali. She has authored more than 25 books, and many have been made in ott, webseries, and movies.
She has cleared 8 government exams in a year without coaching, which shows that if you have determination, then nothing is impossible. She even got paralyzed due to some rare disease, but she recovered it with her determination.
She was made to feel inferior for her body by her schoolmates and friends, which made her depressed but she cut out all the odds and craved her path towards her success.
Debarati Mukhopadhyay is presently a youth icon and one of the most popular and celebrated authors of Bengali Literature having millions of readers worldwide. A young Government Officer by profession and awarded with several accolades like Indian Express Devi Award 2022, Tagore Samman, 2022, Literary Star of Bengal etc, she has written 25+ bestselling novels from leading publishing houses. Global publishers like Harper Collins, Rupa Publication have published her English works worldwide. A no. of her novels are already made up into highly acclaimed movies and podcasts.An excellent orator, Debarati motivates people through her way of positive thinking, voluntarily guides aspirants for Government job preparation in leisure.
