Did you know? Dragons are inheritly magical creatures and in previous editions they possessed the ability to shapeshift into just about any creature they desired. So previously when the CHA characters seduced the dragon, the dragon would shift into a more accommodating form so they could.... yeah. In any case 5e seems to have removed this from the dragon stat block, but I like to keep it in there anyway mainly because dragons can find it useful when gathering information, or in the case of the metallic dragons to make their company more comfortable.

Which is really sad because he's such an emphatetic and adorable guy. Btw he's a bard too and not the horny type, I gave him a personality.

My bard character joined the party because the lords were unhappy with her seducing the ladies of the court, so she thought it would be best to join up with a group of adventurers that were leaving town.
The best bard feature its to get nat20 everytime they want to have fun but when the party needs him he gets a nat1 everytime...also the druid bards are the worst for alot of reasons (third time writting this because my comment keeps get deleted)
@@OneShotQuesters i had a Druid bard that fucked a tree...that "Tree" was an ent(treant) Princess...basicly he forced her to do it and my party had an entire kingdom of ents after us...from 5 only 2 survived...(my character was split in half)
three things a ranger can do that is useful: 1. Temporarily replace one of the following classes when down: fighter, druid, bard and cleric. 2. Flavored terrain: who else can guide ya better in a forest or a desert than a ranger with one of em as flavored terrain? 3. Meat shield if they are, indeed "useless"

Nice! Actually bards *can* be played very differently and are one of, or, my favorite classes. They are storytellers, and use music for fighting and helping the party. It gives a lot of place for creativity.
I'm playing an Ifrit Sorcerer Bard, fortunately, he doesn't have to be the seducer. He's a skillful magic user and the Bard Skill amplifies his skills. Due to this, he is welcome to new various forms of combat that was exclusively closed to him. Also it opens to various new ways to use his Elemental Bloodline

As someone who is playing an asexual bard, I found this funny. In my group the running gag has become that some npcs hit on my bard and I have to tell them "I'm not that kind of bard."
This actually reminds me of a College Of Spirits bard that I've been meaning to play in a campaign. Not a play boy at all but helps people face their inner demons because he is unable to face his own A confident character but would probably be shy in the face of romance
I favor bards not for their charms or their fighting prowess, but because they're just good at things. Anything that the rest of the party isn't able to do, a bard can specialize in. Just about any obstacle in their path can be bypassed with the wide array of functional bard spells. Anything that the bard can't do, they can make somebody else better at.
Heavy Metal Red Dragonborn Bard. Chaotic Neutral Selfish. Collage of Valor. I played him in a one-shot, so much fun. He only cared about putting on a performance for the bloodthirsty god-like creatures watching. The Metal Machine stops for no one, next stop: Glory. Hop on, or get out of the way!

My favorite bard I've played is based off of Gir from invader zim. no seductive charisma needed, just a little person who accidently explodes on occasion and throws people out two story windows. and demands waffles at every tavern.
One of my fav DnD characters I've ever played was a Lesbian Bard wood elf who was engaged with a fiancé back in her home village. In her village there's this costum where lovers hand make/sew/embroider detailed bridal veils that they then exchange/gift each other on their wedding day, you can't get married if you don't have a complete bridal viel. So my bard (who used to be a seamstress) was on a quest to travel the lands and gather materials from far off exotic places to make the most beautiful veil in all the land and made a promise to not return to her home village until she completed the veil. I sadly only got to play her for one game before the dnd group I was with wasn't able to meet up anymore. I'm still holding out hope that I'll get to play her again one day.
Of course there are other options for sexy characters; a Palladin of Aphrodite for example. Or a Warlock whose patron is a succubus or a warlock who is a succubus!
I made my first bard... I seem to forgot adding any apeal to character... 6lvl lore bard 1lvl trickery cleric going around selling both snke oils and medicien role in combat is support and fire ball. I think 2d12 is good dmg from cantrip and 8d6 from fireball ^_^ mean while fighter can attacl 6 times in single round after I land Hold person for those sweet crits.
Reason: In AD&D they were the only class you A: couldn't take at base and B: had to specifically build for. They could cast druidic magic, had the martial prowess of a Fighting Man and could do Rogue things! :D
Ya ever just rip the cartilage out of a goblin with a lizardfolk bard at level 1 because you bit one with a crit nat 20 and then proceeded to munch on it’s innards to heal yourself before you stab another one with a light crossbow. (FYI “stab” was not a typo.)
The ironic part is, the final Charisma-based caster, the Sorcerer, is literally the byproduct of their ancestors getting freaky. .... usually with things that are pretty.... freaky.
