I would say Red Bus had decided to like the BCI'S & get some to try out & put them in service.because I think good buses like BCI would fit great with any operator who likes them. & I like them as well.
I was quite impressed with the new BCI, it is a neat bit of kit, although not sure those seats would have been super comfortable if I was on a longer trip.
I have to say that this bus has a really nice exterior look, but the interior looks too American. And I don't think this bus is fitted with a ZF Ecolife. Instead, it sounds like an Allison.
I’ve been on a BCI Citirider 8 on Rottnest Island, operated by Adams Coachlines/Quokka Coaches
This one has an Allison gearbox.
Good to know- couldn't easily pick it out this time!

This bus is a great bus but to be honest I prefer the electric citirider that interline has
I was hoping to try that out on my recent trip to Sydney but I just didn't get the chance. Still got to enjoy plenty of other exciting transport
Ps. There is only 1 electric version
I was hoping i'd get to catch it while in Sydney over the weekend but unfortunately, it didn't work out.
