Installing barriers here wouldn’t be a realistic option. There’s simply not enough room for them because of the layout around the crossing. Widening the road wouldn’t be easy either given that it’s on quite a steep hill.
I went there today in the freezing cold all the other four lights are in, the drivers white lights are in and the lights are still in their wrappers including the ped lights but still not finished
Great video! Looking forward to seing the upgrade in use!
Wow, I would love a vertical light with the red cross on it, it would look cool
Nice! The reveal of okeltor!
Finally, someone has a video of this upgrade! Also, are any more crossings on the Looe branch getting upgraded except Sandways?
I think a few farm crossings may be being done, I did know but I forgot so will have to look again.
Is it gonna be a new AOCL? It looks like it might be an AHBCL (ABCL)...
AOCL confirmed
@@levelcrossingcreations3731 Not the best of ideas, but it'll have to do until they can find the funding to extend the road to make room for barriers.
@@TheosTrainsWalesOfficial I think they are extending the road tbh but yeah not great imo

Is the crossing finished because it has been 2 weeks already
I wouldn't be surprised if it's not finished, I think it's been pushed back to FEB 2024

Are the yodalarms on?
@@levelcrossingcreations3731 Yes they are on now
@@BenJohns-e3v ah ok
Still not finished commissioned from 10-12th February this year but the lights are still not uncovered so still not finished yet as of March 2024
All lights have been installed now and are in place
