The horizontal stabilator on the tail moves dependent of the speed of the airframe. The slower it goes, the more dramatic the downward angle. It's autonomous. Just checked the price here in China. They sell for exactly the same price, $400 US. Surprised as they don’t have to be shipped to the West… If anyone is wondering , EAChine is sold under the YunXiang brand here.
Thank you so much Murphy! We are safe from any flooding currently. Just tinkering with RCs today (building) and had some family fun at a nearby fair! 👍😁😎👍
The 5 to 6 hundred dollar price tag is outrages and I hear the battery packs suck and you have to use the ones specifically for that heli. For that kind of money you can go out and buy an Align 450Trex and the bigger they are the easier they are to fly. If you really want that body type. Look for aftermarket parts etc don’t waste your money on this one. Just an opinion.
To get it right down to scale you need to pull the low rate right down, you can go as low as 60% on the rate on 6G and even lower on on 3D. the top big led flashes when the battery gets low and you have 30 seconds to land, after that it reduces power. I'm get 8Minutes with the front light and 9 minutes without before it then starts the top led flashing and 30 seconds to reduced power settings kicking in. It is fully 3d capable inverted flight and can pull off intense movements and flies as good at 100% rates as any of the small micro 3D rockets - E180 , M2 etc. You can add a DSMX sat and fly on spektrum (as I do) or a SBUS micro and fly on opentx or other radios, pop of the upper top cowling to get a look at the flight controller and the two additional receiver ports. You can also lengthen the sticks on the stock radio which helps with sensitivity. try low rates 60% with 10% expo and slow down the pitch change, try 40/45/55/75/78 as this also softens the response.
Thanx a lot! when u write - "To get it right down to scale you need to pull the low rate right down, you can go as low as 60% on the rate on 6G " - Do you mean that you changed the company's values that are recommended in the Manual and are "chosen" in the RTF default definitions? OR - you mean that you do not cross the 60% Throttle power when IN the pre-programmed values? An experienced pilot can SURELY (if he is kind) recommend for "beginners +" on preferred Throttle and Pitch Curves values, and on the value for the GYRO, that is usually NOT 100, i wonder why. MANY of the viewers are not "total beginners", and "intermediate" level - Well, it is a too WIDE, too broad category. I am not a 'beginner", I definitely will not do any 3D with a Scale model, but i think i will not try to fly this expensive (499$ on ALI, plus VAT's and many other taxes sent internationaly) - without SOME advice on if and HOW to adjust ALL the original transmitter's values, if recommended.
Ger content the detail of the helicopter and what it is ‘cause I used to be in 101st airborne division really makes me want it by another helicopter and for what I saw 475 is not a bad price for it!
Taking a look at the Eachine site, there is a Bind N Fly (BNF) version, so you could use your hobby grade transmitter with this helicopter. It's a very cool looking chopper. WIth that brushless motor, I wonder how much weight it could carry...like maybe a small action camera like the Insta360 GO 2, that would give some really cool video!

Bro, the reason I had to learn to fly helos is because I wanted to fly the Harrier on my RC simulator and knowing how to fly helos helped me become a better quadrotor pilot and it made a much better fixed wing RC pilot. Small helos are harder to fly than big ones.
