Superb presentation and info.....can u please advice....i am getting sometimes e7 error and sometimes a4 error....i replaced new out door motor and it started only for 1 time and since then getting a4 then if a4 ok then e7.....dont understand whats the problem.
Dear Kevin Thank you for the video. The machine gives a U4 error onlu when it rains. Using the remote, scrolling through the error codes gives a long beep on U4, i then cancel the error, switch off the machine and Circuit breaker and the reset works. Why is the machine acting up only when it rain, in peak summer there is no problem.
Not all the time U4 means error communication between indoor outdoor unit. Some time can be far then that, but very simple parts need to replace at outdoor unit, can you guess guys what is it?

Sir I have used Daikin invertor ac last 5 years..but at present I am facing a problem..there's no activation beeps came after switch on the power supply as well as given any command from remote..but unit is working according to order..pls help me...
I get the flashing green light when I switch to a different mode. I retrieved the error code using the remote and it shows U4. The aircon still works in certain modes (auto and heating in this case), but it blinks green and doesn't switch on for others (cooling, dehumidifying). Is it still possible that it's the PCB cable issue?
Thanks for the informative video. I’m in Singapore too and have encountered a U4 error tonight and 3 of the 4 ac units in my apartment (that are wired to one of the two condensers) no longer works. Does that mean it’s an outdoor unit’s PCB error? Thanks in advance.
Hi DL, these 3 units are likely connected to the same condenser and it's likely to be an outdoor PCB fault. Try resetting it to see if it works (50/50) chance it might be revived. The switch is normally somewhere next to the condenser. U can call me or Whatsapp me on my mobile at 90674867 if u need more help.
Mr Kevin My Daikin Aircon have the exact same one you have with you Problem is that It's indoor unit blinks And tested it with my remote and it says U4 But I have check all the wires that connects indoor to outdoor unit All the wires are good with well connection But here my indoor unit also blinks and also my outdoor unit's led light also blinking the exact same way that it blinks as if inindoor unit sir But I have no idea sir indoor unit's all fiction with remote works but outdoor unit also have supply and it's indicator light also turns On and start blinking the same No idea where the problem is Please hlp me sir
Hi Ram. It's PCB fault. If all indoor units are blinking, it's likely outdoor PCB board spoil. But if it's only one indoor unit blinking, then it's likely that indoor PCB board is faulty.
Mr Kevin Thanks for you attention to my problem But here when I turn on my ac indoor unit It's power led starts blinking And there is an another led inside the pcb of indoor unit It also blinks what to do sir Out door unit's function is full working that the fan spin when I press the diagnosis button near the green led of the outdoor unit sir And so when I turn on the indoor unit with fan mode it works perfectly on -airdirection,swing,fanspeed,timer,beepsound. And the outdoor unit's function is also good but I can't find out which pcb's transmission is faulty Pls help me
@@ramsrikanth7639 oh no...then it's difficult to tell if it's indoor board or outdoor board. Since a system one is relatively cheap, it may not be cost effective to replace both PCB boards.

I tried to get a few aircon contractors to help repair or replace it, but so far all of them said it is not possible due to lack of skills or parts in Singapore. It is a long shot, but by any chance if you are familiar with this industry in Singapore, do you have any recommendations on a contractor that can help me repair it? Thank you in advance!
Hi, u4 malfunction code can be a pretty expensive repair for a Daikin Aircon. Depending on how old your condenser model is, replacement of pcb can cost in excess of $800 and there could be other problems including compressor and valve faults. Since spare parts are not returnable, most contractors shy away from such jobs, especially if your Aircon is more than 15yrs old as multiple expensive repairs could be in the pipe line.

Hello. UH Fault Must be Being In a multiSplit system or VRV system. UH means wrong wire conection between services In the Outlook unit. Or VRV unit don’t recognize any indoor unit, because the bus wiring is wrong or open or short circuit . Or the external unit does’nt enough time to do the wiring communication test.

There is no neutral wire. 1 and 2 is 220v, 3 is communication.

Water is getting in your cables causing a loss of connection. Check for corrosion

Hi, when you are using the heating mode, does it produce heat or it's simply behaving like a fan?
