I was on a long drive home after my grandmother's funeral last night. This song came on my stream and I fucking lost it. Decided to listen to the whole Mass IV album...it was the most spiritual music experience I've ever had. Truly cathartic.
Amenra is healing music. I hope they have continued to help your healing journey. Something interesting: the drummer lost his grandmother just before/during the writing for this album. I too lost my grandma in May of 2018. This band/album has helped and always will. Be well.

Amenra has been a big part of my life since Mass III but when I first heard this on its release it was utterly profound. I was walking at night toward a moonlight peak named Aiguille de Peclet and as the opening chords dropped I just stood and wept for a while.

I went to Berlin (from Munich) just for the concert a few weeks back. While this style of music is not exactly my favourite one, the Amenra concert has been an intense experience and i did enjoy it a lot. The sound has been mixed very clean and the musicians on stage were playing it crisp and exact (well, i was a mixer many years back). They are not leaving the path of notes a lot - in comparison to the studio album but i did not mind. I will certainly go to more concerts of this great band. I see that they are upping the concert frequency outside of Belgium a lot. I do wish them all the best. I will be back ... :-)
