It´s a medieval hymn usually incorporated into requiem masses. So yes, Mozart also has a die irae in his requiem. Requiem significa Missa de Mortos. Obedecem todos mais ou menos à mesma estrutura musical. Aqui ouvimos o Dies Irae (Dia da Ira) de Verdi e depois, mais para o fim, Lacrimosa, do Requiem de Mozart (que também tem um Dies Irae, mas não consta deste vídeo).
