Hi I have an Empisal sewing machine and would love it if I could purchase a piping/cording foot for my machine. My machine is an EM 250 Deluxe. Please advise if I will be able to purchase for my machine and where. Thank you.
@@nancycrosson6644 Thank you for reaching out. We don't have any information on your model; however, that doesn't mean we can't help you. Please email (info@sewingpartsonline.com) the following information to our customer service team and they will be happy to assist: 1.) Put your presser foot is in low position. Measure from the middle of the screw that holds your foot on down to the needle plate. 2.) Also, please include pictures of your presser foot area. With this information, they are likely to be able to offer you a suggestion.
What does a Singer 758 and a Singer 401A have in size of their shank. Are they low shank or high shank and do they use a single, double cording foot and are they slant shank and is there any feet made for these machines? Also, i have a very old treadle Singer and wanted to know if they make the same type cording foot as you are using on this video which would make my old singer sing a new song.
The piping should only be slotted into the hole when you are sewing it did the last time. You will get 2 or even 3 lines of stitches if you make it this way you should stitch away from the cord the first time, a little closer when you attached your first piece to the side of your piping, then slot it in the groove for the final piece to finish. You only get one row of stitching showing and if makes for a much neater finish!
+swing back Hi! The Welting Foot is different because it has a large built-in tunnel to guide the pipping through, which keeps the fabric tight and snug against the pipping. The invisible zipper foot is similar, but the grooves aren't large enough to accommodate pipping.
If you have very narrow piping, you can use a pearl and sequins foot to "hack" sew a thinner piping, just make sure to adjust your needle position accordingly. You can also use a zipper foot or even an invisible zipper foot. Good luck!
That's a Project Runway edition isn't it? I've always heard to stay away from "branded" machines since they tend to be plastic garbage, but this must be pretty good if you guys are using it!
Hi, I have been watching your videos and I really like them. I like finding out what all my machine feet do and how to use them. I have a problem, however. I have seen all of my feet on your channel but I have 4 of them that I still can't identify. They each have a letter printed on them. What do the letters mean? One is a completely clear foot with a short leg that is higher than the thicker leg and it has a clear knob of the side that moves the shank bank and forth and the letter K on it. The other has a gold shank and looks like a zig zag foot with the letter Q on it and another one is a little flat snap on white foot with two little channels on the bottom and two openings on the right side and a red arrow on the left leg and it has the letter J on it. The last one is all metal with one hole for the needle. This metal has one has a ripple where the sewing hole is. Can you help me identify these sewing machine feet.? I have looked all over the internet with no luck. I can send you pictures.
Thank you so much but I took them to Joanns store and they identified my presser feet. Thank you for responding so quickly. I have been checking out all your videos and your website. I see so many things I want!
BeatlesFanSonia I'm glad you were able to get the feet identified! Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Have a great week and thank you for watching!
Very helpful, thank you!
Hi Christine! They come in a variety of sizes depending which machine you have. What if your make and model number? I'll look up the sizes for you!

Thank you! If you have any questions about anything, I'm happy to help!
Does this goes with singer 4423 sewing machine too?
Nicely done.
What's the difference between a CORDING and a WELTING foot though?
You said the needle screws in there, pointing at the attachment? Where exactly does the needle screw into? I’m so confused
What screwdriver is that? I'd like to get one... Thanks

Where do you get your screw driver? I want one!!
The kind of screw driver for her machine there...as shown...comes with that machine so she can do her job well. 🙂

is the welting the same as a invisablezipper foot?

You can do better with what?
Hi, What if my piping is smaller?
If you have very narrow piping, you can use a pearl and sequins foot to "hack" sew a thinner piping, just make sure to adjust your needle position accordingly. You can also use a zipper foot or even an invisible zipper foot. Good luck!
What machine are you using?
Hi! In this video we use a Brother LB6800PRW.

Yup, it's the Project Runway one from years ago. I got a lot of really good use out of it and really enjoyed it as a hobby machine.
